To start my review I got this again the 57 inch they sell as well and ended up refunding the 57 inch. For those of you in the same boat that was thinking about getting both and having a hard time picking this review is for you. The 57 inch was great. "8k" so it looked amazing. (My 4090 was dying lol) room to finally get rid of my 2 other screens and gaming was weird in 32:9. The reason I returned it for this amazing screen is the fact that they are the same price and this is just 2 of the 57 inch stacked on top of each other. Plus if you really miss 32:9 or 21:9 for gaming or for work. This screen also has modes to change to them both. I never seen that before. I used it for dark souls and riding games and it feels the same. You do get a black bar on the bottom or top during this but thats not that bad because of how black this screen gets. On top of all that this screen also has speakers that are pretty good unless you use something crazy. The screen is uglier then the 57 inch because 4k stretched out over 55 inches gets a bit pixely but in games you cant tell as much vs random videos. So my case is only get the 57 inch if you work or code alott. The 55 inch is just better. Now my normal review. If you older or have bad eyes this thing will help alot. I played the finials and other fps games and I can see everything better plus 165 hz and 1 ms has made it so I'm scoring in the top 2-3 instead of last xD. Movies/youtube is crazy. I've done nothing but game at 4k and watch everything because this thing makes everything pop. Colors are ok. Not great tbh but after messing with the settings I managed to make it look great. 57 inch was better so if you edit pictures or videos and need good colors might need to pick that. Sound was ok. It beat my cheap setup I got for 20 dollars but it does the job and you'll use a headset most of the time anyways. But its close to 360 sound so you can hear in direction so movies are great. Remote/software was snappy but its slow to get through all the menus and options. Plus if you want to go multiplayer and use the 4 screens feature you lose 32:9 and also huge negative you haveee to connect your wifi.... makes no sense. I refuse to connect this screen to the internet because its just a monitor for me nothing more. I'm afraid they are going to update it and slow it down or remove features like Samsung always does so I can tell you anything wifi related. The hub is amazing. A lot of people have bad things to say but clearly they havent tried to reach around a screen before to plug a cable in. That hub saved me so much time. 57 inch was the worst. Took me 23 minutes to plug in a usb and hdmi... Overall if this thing is on sale and you have money to burn pick this up. I think its worth 1500-2000$ 16:9 is just better for everything but work and with this size even work might be a bit better. 5/5 recommended

Experienced immersive gaming and viewing as a TV. Size of the screen is perfect in my opinion You've really don't have to turn your head your peripheral picks up most of the detail. The picture is 4K so it's pretty sharp blacks are not impressive I noticed graying around the top area on a dark setting. This monitor is heavy to say the least you'll definitely want a partner to handle it Make sure you attach the stand while the monitor is in the foam because when removed the threads do not line up and you will be very upset. I was disappointed with the digital audio capability. The display port capabilities did not allow me to provide digital signal to my gaming system. That made me very upset because I have nice speakers. The monitor only allows digital audio through HDMI so if you have a sound bar that has a ERC connection you cannot share it with or duplicate it with the HDMI ports. That really sucks. Wi-Fi streaming was great and provided digital audio. I did not return the monitor because I had more pros and cons and I literally would not be able to reverse pack this beast.

I drove most of an hour to pick up this behemoth to replace a pair of 1080p 27" screens while it was on sale, about a third off. First thing to say is this is massive. Sitting at the same distance, 3'-4', from this as the old pair of monitors is immersive to say the least, however I can't play certain games full screen since I would have to physically look around to see the full map on display and in a fast-paced MOBA the delay would be a death sentence. Second, this thing is appropriately heavy, specs call it assembled and out of the box, 91.5 lbs, most of that is the base and you do not want to torque most of $3k of fragile glass. I assembled and placed this by myself out of necessity and I wish I had friends. I'd like to get a new desk or wall mount for this but I want to let the original memories fade first. Watching movies is an IMAX experience IF you have a decent source to play from, streaming is a last resort but I noticed plenty of distracting digital artifacting on dark portions of a movie from Prime, think flickering square in various shades of black. A Blu-Ray file was a much better experience. One of the things I was hoping to do was feed a second line from my computer into the monitor and simulate two ultrawide screens, top and bottom. I haven't done this yet since my computer only outputs DP and the monitor only accepts 1 DP input, plenty of other options but another mild frustration. Even if I did get a DP to HDMI converter, from the menus I've looked at so far, the advertised multi-screen function will only do the following configurations: 1 | 2 1 | 2/3 1/2 | 3 1/2 | 3/4 The "|" symbol splitting sides while the "/" above and below. I'd like the 1/2 config. On the productivity front, you have screen real estate for days - month - years; you want to look at 8 different Office documents at once? Go ahead. I do CAD professionally at work though and I trialed a CAD program at home with this and the curved screen really throws you when you're drawing a straight line. You just have to trust the program is doing what you tell it to. I included a picture from when I first placed it on my desk before rotating the screen to horizontal, in vertical it wasn't too far from my ceiling so... Overall this thing is nice so far, hope this helps anyone reading.

This things a beast. I got it because of multiple use as i had two separate desks and decided to consolidate into a big desk and decided to get a new monitor as well. Its huge, fast, but also filled with some of Samsung notorious junkware albiet not as bad as they once were. It does have to my surprise nvidia GeForce built in, amazons cloud and a couple other ones ive never heard of. Ive never played any of these services since im a PC gamer but perhaps I'll try that out at some point. I guess this is supposed to be an upgrade of last gen mainly for software. Also, the sound is fantastic and having it as a TV is sorta like woe this thing is truly milti capable and wasn't really expecting that for this much money ($1999). Overall od you're looking to consolidate into an all in one setup I'd recommend it. Again the reason for the 4 is i hope they continue to upgrade the firmware rather than leaving the generations behind with multiple iterations of the same product.

I am genuinely impressed. I NEVER EXPECTED TO SPEND NEARLY $3,000 FOR A T.V. AND/OR A GAMING MONITOR, BUT I MUST SAY IT IS WELL WORTH IT. (RESPECTFULLY, STILL HAVING A LITTLE BUYERS REMORSE, THANKFULLY GOT A WARRANTY AND EVERYTHING ELSE THO) This monitor has amazing sound, amazing picture quality, and surprisingly able to be mounted as heavy as it is. I have no complaints as of yet, hopefully none whatsoever from here on out.

Great monitor so far! The size really is something to get used to. The monitor works within the specs given, however a few hiccups with software. Such as “ambient mode” has 30+ options but only 10 or so work. Another is when I try to turn off a device and pick up another, the monitor will turn off with the device and not turn on with the next if done right away. A feature it doesn’t have that I’d love to see is, since it has four speakers in each corner, having audio come out of each for the individual view as an option would be great. Also a welcome surprise is I was checking to find if I can wall mount it and still rotate it, and the supplied wall mount spins. But overall the monitor is great and I’m just nit picking.

I wish I could give it a 4.5.. This thing is great. It is big and vibrant. The built-in OS is a little wonky but manageable. It took a little to figure out. The speakers are a great bonus for when I get tired of wearing a headset. I am using a 4070ti in my tower and it doesn't slow it down at all. My only real complaint is that you can't do 2 x 32:9 stacked inputs. You are stuck to a few prebuilt layouts or you can make your own, but you can't stack 2 43:9 screens on top of each other.

I previously had the first gen Ark for a short period of tine before switching to this second gen. The screen is huge and you need to have a very stable desk to handle the weight but once everything is setup and your inouts are properly titled it is a beast! I actually have a really tough time switching to a multi monitor setup now since the bars, size of the text, and lack of realestate are just a nuesence now. Incredible for glight simulaters and fast enough for great multiplayer experiences. 100% recommendation when on sale unless you ahve the money to drop at full price.

This is a fantastic monitor, but it's for a niche crowd. I say that as it's screen is great but not as sharp and crisp as an OLED one. However, for me it's ideal. I wanted a monitor that could double as my TV, have built-in speakers, and it's built-in streaming features. I have a small office so being able to replace my TV, existing monitor, desktop speakers, and gain streaming features all in one unit is GREAT! I say it's a niche product because if you're looking for a fast response, sharp picture, G-Sync compatibility, this isn't the monitor for you. However, if you want a decent monitor that combines several functions into one unit it can't be beat. There are other issues to consider as well. The weight of the monitor and it's stand is just under 100lbs so if you want to move it, you'll probably need help. It will pivot to Portrait Mode which is nice for some applications, but I was disappointed that in landscape mode you can only tilt it forward and back but not left or right. Bottom line if you're looking for an All-In-One device and are prepared for some of the limitations of one, this is the way to go!

great for standing and using veritical orientation, but there's little you can do to cope with the overall height when attempting to use landscape as you just have to pan your head, neck and eyes. ultimately i went back to my g9 49" where it's the same width, but only one row high. the speakers in thsi thing are awesome for a desk, it really sounds like there are baby subwoofers back there and the atmos totally works, but it's no replacement for a soundbar

Purchased to use with sim games, however, it is now being used as the primary monitor for business and fun. Purchased with a monitor trade-in option and saved an additional 10%. Once the notoriety wore off, it feels natural. Would be hard to go back to a regular screen. Using RTX4090 to power it via DP. We have found one dead pixel within a few days of hooking it up, but it is in the corner and, fortunately, not noticeable during normal use. At time of this review, we have owned the monitor for 6 weeks.

Had to custom mount it because the factory stand is too tall for proper monitor viewing height but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll never go back to a flat monitor for a large FOV setup (27" (at a normal distance (arms length)) and smaller is fine to be flat) and deal with viewing pixels at an angle (square pixels turn into rectangles at an angle(super flawed (this compresses the width of the aspect ratio noticeably on large FOV setups))). Hope the 3rd gen is 65" 8k 240hz (DP 2.1) OLED 1500R. I'd buy that for 5k easy.

This thing is heavy and out of this world. It truly envelopes you in in the view with great sound and will keep you fixated on different ways to use it for some time. Only played one game and immediately noticed how fast the response time is, not just on the screen but my mouse seemed faster also in other ways even though it is connected using the Dock and shared by the monitor and PC.

This thiing is awesome. Complete multiple task while working, watching and creating. I play music and invest all while keeping my focus on one monitor. Depending on my needs I can have 4 different inputs running at once, or just 1. It even allows me to customize the size of the screen if 55” is too much on the eyes. This 2nd version of the ARK has fixed the 2 major issues from the 1st version, it now includes a display port and allows up to 4 external simultaneous connections for screens within the display. The display blacks look great, it's bright and up to 165hz in game mode. Also the display didn't have any bad pixels or issues. This is expensive but worth the money.

Bought open box. The picture was really great and the curve was awesome but unfortunately the one connect box was faulty and didnt work. I could use the apps on the tv but nothing would connect to hdmi. Tried 3 different computers, 2 game systems, and 7 different cables. Pretty disappointed that best buy didnt check before re-selling. I spent an entire day driving, loading, unloading, setting up, testing, repackaging and returning. Wasted my time and my friend who helped me setup and take down monitor. Best buy did nothing to compensate me for it. Literally spent 3 hours driving to pickup the open box and BB never even factory reset the device or checked it. Store manager never called me back to make it right. Lesson learned. I will never buy an open box samsung device from BB again. Ended up getting a S95f 55” for my monitor and its been awesome. The stand on the ark weighs at least 70 pounds and requires two people to unbox, assemble, and move. The stand is really good, offering tilt and height adjustment. Switching the monitor to portrait mode makes the top 1/3 unusable because your head is tilted so far back to see the screen. Stand was also missing a screw to attach to monitor. Kind of important since there are only 2 screws, so essentially missing half of what connects the stand to the monitor.
