As someone who's been using the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch curved monitor for productivity purposes, I can confidently say it's a game-changer for my workflow. This behemoth of a display has transformed the way I multitask and manage my digital workspace. ## Immersive Workspace The first thing you'll notice is the sheer size and curvature of this monitor. At 57 inches with a 1000R curve, it's like having two 32-inch 4K monitors seamlessly merged into one. The curve isn't just for show - it actually helps reduce eye strain and makes the entire screen feel more accessible, despite its massive size. ## Unparalleled Screen the amount of screen real estate is simply staggering. I routinely have 15 or more applications open simultaneously, arranged exactly how I want them. This level of multitasking was previously impossible without multiple monitors or constant window switching. ## Potential Drawbacks It's not all perfect, though. The aggressive curve can take some getting used to, especially if you're coming from flat monitors. This monitor is perfect for sim racing for those that don’t have the room or budget for triple screens. You still get great peripheral view in car during the game. Definitely recommend this monitor. Really helps with immersion in the game. Works great for other sims too.

The Samsung 57” Odyssey Neo G9 is hands down the best monitor I’ve ever used. The sheer size and incredible clarity of the screen make a huge difference every single day. Colors are vibrant, text is razor-sharp, and the brightness levels are on another level compared to anything else out there. Multitasking has become effortless — I can have multiple full-sized windows open side-by-side without feeling cramped or having to constantly switch between tabs. It’s like having two monitors seamlessly built into one ultra-wide display. As a Meta employee, this monitor has completely transformed the way I work. Whether I’m deep into data analysis, project management, or creative brainstorming, everything feels faster, smoother, and more organized. The Odyssey Neo G9 isn’t just an upgrade — it’s an essential tool for anyone serious about maximizing their productivity and working at a higher level.

This monitor is awesome. I got it mainly for productivity and it works so well. The screen is so good and colors, contrast and blacks are almost oled level quality. You can use 2 inputs or split your screen into multiple zones using soft ware like fancy zones. This is a productivity work beast. Entertainment is also good on this. The only downsides I can think of are the long legs of stand that eats up my desk space. Ther is also the minor hassle of trying to screw in screws of stand to back of monitor. However, this can be achieved with some difficulty. The control menu is a mass8ve let down for a monitor this good. It's clunky and hard to use. Monitor shoukd have had its own remote. Finally, my 4090 gpu can't output 4k at 240hz on this monitor. You can only go on a lesser resolution to hit 249hz. However, I am not bothered as I dont game on it. If you are considering this monitor, plesse dont wait, just go for it. You won't regret it.Also, don't forget to get geek's squad protection. That way you can rest easy. I get to my office each morning, and still stare at this behemoth of beauty in awe. Definitely a great monitor.

I purchased this monitor to replace my stacked 49-inch CRG9 monitors, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed. The Eye Saver mode is outstanding, delivering just the right level of brightness for my well-lit office. The monitor is incredibly fast, and with PowerToys > Fancy Zones, I can split the screen into three sections seamlessly. Initially, I was concerned about the aggressive curve, but it feels perfect for this size. Larger monitors make such curves less noticeable—while the same curve on the 49G9 felt too extreme for my liking, it’s ideal here. The text clarity is exceptional, blacks are truly black, and the contrast remains excellent, even in Eye Saver mode. My only gripe is the control switch under the monitor—it feels clunky and cheap compared to the CRG9’s system, which was much more user-friendly, especially for toggling Eye Saver mode. While I don’t game often, I tested it with my RTX 4090 on COD and Flight Simulator and was blown away by the performance. That said, as a novice gamer, my opinion here might not hold much weight. Overall, this monitor is a fantastic choice for both productivity and occasional gaming.

There's nothing else like it. Your vision being completely wrapped in screen is a stunning experience, but despite it's name as gaming monitor, I've used it for productivity. I edit video and websites for a living and the seamless width of the display makes the job so much easier. Could you get something similar for less by using two monitors? Yes, of course. This is the premium version of that and there's really no other way to describe it. I've got it wall mounted and I love it so much.

Is a beast of a monitor! From the moment I unboxed it, the quality was apparent. The dual 4K UHD resolution and Quantum Mini-LED technology make games and media look absolutely stunning. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the HDR1000 really shines when playing cinematic games.

I saw this monitor on sale for a decent chunk off the price and decided to try it out as I've been looking for an ultra wide for a while. After some research, the neo g9 seemed to have what I wanted but what really caught my eye was the ***ADVERTISED FLAGSHIP FEATURE: (world's first) "dual monitor mode." According to Samsung it enables you to plug in 2 sources and have the monitor split in 2 with a few available configurations. I was expecting to just have it split down the middle and essentially have 2 monitors side by side with no bezel. What Samsung does not mention in any substantial way, is that using this feature prevents you from using pretty much any of the other nice features that give this monitor its price. No hdr, 240hz, low latency, etc. Weird that one of the key selling points (WORLD'S FIRST) of a product disables the rest of the selling points. It is a pretty heavy monitor as one could imagine and weird to assemble/handle. Depending on your setup, it may require a second set of hands to help you move it around so I was a little frustrated having to take it down to return. Another thing is that the ambient lighting it has built in apparently only works with hdmi. Otherwise it's just a nightlight. But, if all you care about is the monitor working on a basic level and looking nice, then it is a very nice monitor. Colors good, darks good, all that good stuff. Would have been 5 stars from me but missing feature info cost me a lot of time and effort just to end up returning it. If you're thinking of buying for the dual monitor feature, don't. I ended up going with a couple of 32" neo g8s and haven't looked back. From what I understand, the g9 is just 2 g8s spliced together anyway and I couldn't tell the difference in picture quality

I recently purchased a Samsung monitor from Best Buy, and I am beyond impressed with the quality and performance. The picture is incredibly sharp, vibrant, and crystal-clear—the colors absolutely pop, and the details are breathtaking. Setup was quick and easy, and the Best Buy’s staff were knowledgeable and helpful, making the buying process seamless and stress-free.

Best monitor you can buy, Alienware 4090 and running COD MW 3 all weekend, a gamers dream setup. Should last me a very long time!

It's amazing. I use it for music production, stocks, and video editing more than gaming. But it works stellar for that too. I really enjoy the multiple PC setup for my home server. Perfect if you have any of those needs.

I have had this monitor now for 2 weeks and it is huge! Everything is working well and you can split the screens easy by just dragging each window screen to the top and picking which split screen you want.

I purchased this to replace a 3 monitor setup that I use to work from home. It took a few days to get adjusted to using the monitor, but now I love it. It’s definitely overkill for productivity usage. I can imagine that it would be great for game play. I’m not a gamer, but my kids are jealous.

If you want an ultra high resolution ultrawide this is it. It's the ultimate ultrawide display for those who want the most possible pixels! Upgraded to this from the original 49" G9 and it's amazing! The only thing that could make it better would be if they released an OLED version, but then the price would be even more out of reach. Wait for a good sale on this one and you won't be disappointed! Just make sure your GPU is Displayport 2.1 DP80!

This is a great monitor for anyone. Gamers will totally love it. Picture is clear and sharp. Colors are vibrant. Right out of the box you can easily set it up. It comes with multiple cables (Power, HDMI, DP) however the cables are not super long. The only thing I wish this monitor had is a remote control to adjust the settings. The controls for that are tiny buttons under the bottom center of the monitor.

Flawless monitor. It can handle just about anything you throw at it. I have a new gaming set up with two high end graphics cards and this is by far the highest quality computer monitor I’ve ever seen let alone owned. The only con I’d say is definitely going to have to be that it’s the same price as about 5-10 40-50 inch Samsung TVs (4k and 2020+ models). Keep it up Samsung

This monitor is outstanding. I use it for work. I have several windows and documents open at the same time, like if these were documents spread on my desk. The resolution is great. Once in a while I what short videos or sports on it. You do need a good mouse to use it, because you need precision and speed. I got a gamer mouse and it is perfect. And all cables are hidden in the back of the monitor. Clean, organized. Pretty, modern.

This monitor is gorgeous, i use 2 different inputs and i am not wanting for size at all, one half my work computer/games second half my personal PC and they are like 2 32 inch 4k screens which is more than enough space for what i want to do. And if i want the full screen with my PC my space just feels unlimited!
