The overall quality of the monitor is amazing, however, if you dont have the cpu and gpu to back it up its usless. Would recommend at the very least a 4090 or 5080 gpu wise before considering buy it unless you dont mind bad frame rate and resolution

The Samsung Neo G9 57-inch monitor is nothing short of spectacular! I love being able to have many windows open at the same time; it makes things much easier. I can be playing on one side and checking other things at the same time. For editing videos or using Adobe Photoshop, it seems amazing to be able to have everything on a single screen.

As someone who's been using the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch curved monitor for productivity purposes, I can confidently say it's a game-changer for my workflow. This behemoth of a display has transformed the way I multitask and manage my digital workspace. ## Immersive Workspace The first thing you'll notice is the sheer size and curvature of this monitor. At 57 inches with a 1000R curve, it's like having two 32-inch 4K monitors seamlessly merged into one. The curve isn't just for show - it actually helps reduce eye strain and makes the entire screen feel more accessible, despite its massive size. ## Unparalleled Screen the amount of screen real estate is simply staggering. I routinely have 15 or more applications open simultaneously, arranged exactly how I want them. This level of multitasking was previously impossible without multiple monitors or constant window switching. ## Potential Drawbacks It's not all perfect, though. The aggressive curve can take some getting used to, especially if you're coming from flat monitors. Additionally, the sheer size of this monitor means it takes up a significant amount of desk space and its sheer $$$$ ## Final Thoughts While the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch is marketed primarily as a gaming monitor, it's an absolute powerhouse for productivity. But if you have the budget and the desk space, the productivity gains can be substantial. After using it for an extended period, I can't imagine going back to a traditional multi-monitor setup.

Regarding the size is a great monitor the curvature makes everything more immersive, about the quality of the screen frustrated me a lot compared to my previous G9 49 OLED, other things I miss are the functions that the G9 49 OLED has, such as built-in speakers, remote control, possibility of use as TV and monitor. But for my use in racing yes it worked perfectly.

Let me start out by saying I have never owned a curved screen monitor, I have always stuck to flat screens. Most recently I ran 3 x 43" monitors, 2 in protrait mode and 1 in regular landscape configuration and I enjoyed it but it just felt off a little bit. When first researched vurved monitors non of them had the specs to match what I already had in a flat screen so I pretty much shrugged them off, once I saw the 57" Odyssey Neo G9 I knew this was the one to try if anything to replace my current monitor configuration. I can tell you I was not disappointed. Pros: The contrast is amazing, blacks are so dark the monitor appears to be turned off in those regions. The sharpness and readability is solid as any 4K monitor I ahve had. The 1000R curve draws you in and is so easy on my eyes esspecial when i am multitasking and feel like I am have a great veiw of the battlefield on games that properly support 32:9 format. Refresh rate is very nice, even at 120Hz is it so smooth! The Cons: The veiw angle is quite narrow, I ahve heard this alot from people, but not sure what they except from a curved screen as they are designed provide an immersive experience for user in acentered postion and are not meant to be veiwed from the side. The price is up there but I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. The only warning I would give people who like me never have had a 1000R curved ultra wide is it is an adjustment period to get used to it. I was worried at first that the shorter height of going from a 43" 16:9 screen to a 57" 32:9 screen would bother me. I am happy to report that after a couple days of working with it I am more than happy with this purchase!

Great reaolution with tons of screen realestate. Perfect ro usw when writing software and keeping manuals and othe documents open along woth debugging windows. Of course the field is changing fiven vibe programming, but im sure it will still be usfeul in new ways for development.

An absolute monster of a monitor. Beautiful colors and boy oh boy BLACKS. Prepare yourself for the weight and you better have a 70x30 desk to house this monster. Screen height is important or you risk seeing some distortion on the edges of images. Makes my 49" OLED look like a preschool toy. You're gonna need a 5080 or 5090 to utilize it. 140 ppi is a LOT to render.

The monitor has an amazing picture and is great for work of multitasking. Playing games on it feels great. I do feel as though i needed to take away 1 star. The monitor can get a bit hung up when trying to switch things around and you just need to be patient and might need to turn things off and on again to get it to work right. A little annoying for a monitor of this cost. I also wish it wouldve came with a second USB B cord so you dont have to buy a seperate cord for using the onboard USB switching. Also the Display cord that is included is too short to be of much use. Lastly DO NOT rely on Samsung for warranty or service and just get geeksquad, i havent had any issues yet but i have heard a lot of things and I have dealt with Samsung support in the past and they are AWFUL.

It really gives me a 3 in 1 monitor feel where i can even split it more granularly to have about a dozen small monitors to handle large scale production deployments. Its refresh rate is off the charts , and seeing movies on it makes me want to trade in my 4k tv for a monitor arm whoch will do it justice !!

This monitor is awesome. I got it mainly for productivity and it works so well. The screen is so good and colors, contrast and blacks are almost oled level quality. You can use 2 inputs or split your screen into multiple zones using soft ware like fancy zones. This is a productivity work beast. Entertainment is also good on this. The only downsides I can think of are the long legs of stand that eats up my desk space. Ther is also the minor hassle of trying to screw in screws of stand to back of monitor. However, this can be achieved with some difficulty. The control menu is a mass8ve let down for a monitor this good. It's clunky and hard to use. Monitor shoukd have had its own remote. Finally, my 4090 gpu can't output 4k at 240hz on this monitor. You can only go on a lesser resolution to hit 249hz. However, I am not bothered as I dont game on it. If you are considering this monitor, plesse dont wait, just go for it. You won't regret it.Also, don't forget to get geek's squad protection. That way you can rest easy. I get to my office each morning, and still stare at this behemoth of beauty in awe. Definitely a great monitor.

Best monitor you can buy, Alienware 4090 and running COD MW 3 all weekend, a gamers dream setup. Should last me a very long time!

I purchased this monitor to replace my stacked 49-inch CRG9 monitors, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed. The Eye Saver mode is outstanding, delivering just the right level of brightness for my well-lit office. The monitor is incredibly fast, and with PowerToys > Fancy Zones, I can split the screen into three sections seamlessly. Initially, I was concerned about the aggressive curve, but it feels perfect for this size. Larger monitors make such curves less noticeable—while the same curve on the 49G9 felt too extreme for my liking, it’s ideal here. The text clarity is exceptional, blacks are truly black, and the contrast remains excellent, even in Eye Saver mode. My only gripe is the control switch under the monitor—it feels clunky and cheap compared to the CRG9’s system, which was much more user-friendly, especially for toggling Eye Saver mode. While I don’t game often, I tested it with my RTX 4090 on COD and Flight Simulator and was blown away by the performance. That said, as a novice gamer, my opinion here might not hold much weight. Overall, this monitor is a fantastic choice for both productivity and occasional gaming.

I saw this monitor on sale for a decent chunk off the price and decided to try it out as I've been looking for an ultra wide for a while. After some research, the neo g9 seemed to have what I wanted but what really caught my eye was the ***ADVERTISED FLAGSHIP FEATURE: (world's first) "dual monitor mode." According to Samsung it enables you to plug in 2 sources and have the monitor split in 2 with a few available configurations. I was expecting to just have it split down the middle and essentially have 2 monitors side by side with no bezel. What Samsung does not mention in any substantial way, is that using this feature prevents you from using pretty much any of the other nice features that give this monitor its price. No hdr, 240hz, low latency, etc. Weird that one of the key selling points (WORLD'S FIRST) of a product disables the rest of the selling points. It is a pretty heavy monitor as one could imagine and weird to assemble/handle. Depending on your setup, it may require a second set of hands to help you move it around so I was a little frustrated having to take it down to return. Another thing is that the ambient lighting it has built in apparently only works with hdmi. Otherwise it's just a nightlight. But, if all you care about is the monitor working on a basic level and looking nice, then it is a very nice monitor. Colors good, darks good, all that good stuff. Would have been 5 stars from me but missing feature info cost me a lot of time and effort just to end up returning it. If you're thinking of buying for the dual monitor feature, don't. I ended up going with a couple of 32" neo g8s and haven't looked back. From what I understand, the g9 is just 2 g8s spliced together anyway and I couldn't tell the difference in picture quality

My config - Mac Studio M4 Max 40 Core GPU, 64GB RAM - I needed maximum real estate for productivity and the Samsung 57" is the one for my Mac Studio. This monitor is at 7680 x 2160, and 120 Hertz using a 2.1 DP cable from Amazon. I don't game on desktop, but the PPI (140) and screen real estate makes this monitor essential. Is a beast of a monitor! From the moment I unboxed it, the quality was apparent. The dual 4K UHD resolution and Quantum Mini-LED technology make games and media look absolutely stunning. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the HDR1000 really shines when playing cinematic games.

Easy to see my Stock Charts and Trading Account. This monitor replaced three others. I was considering on buying a forth. I decided one big monitor would be better. Has room for multiple open windows. Also this monitor is very sturdy and easy to adjust.
