Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the expansive screen size and overall performance of the 57" Odyssey Neo G9 monitor, finding it excellent for both gaming and productivity. The monitor's high resolution and refresh rate contribute to a seamless and immersive experience. While some users noted minor issues such as a demanding optimal viewing angle, potential for dead pixels, and the absence of built-in speakers, the monitor is still well received.

Having dual 4K in a single monitor is soo worth it. Not sure how I did without. The monitor was easy to setup. Just make sure you lot can handle 7680x2160 as a single display or dual 3840x2160 up to 240hz

I purchased this monitor when it went on sale before Christmas. I use it for work and the family uses it for games. I have an intel i9 with the 4090 and it looks amazing on this beast. I had the LG 45 Oled and returned it for the bigger screen..Haven’t had a problem plus I have the extended warranty with my total membership

With the anti-glare matt screen, the VA panel that would color shift depending on where my head was positioned, and this weird clicking I was hearing, there were too many deal breakers. I'm coming from a 4K Glossy OLED monitor that I used at the native resolution, I chose the 57" G9 to get more screen real-estate. But at native resolution, without scaling, text would get lost under the matt finish. The matt finish also caused color fringing on anything that was white. The picture quality was no where near my previous glossy finish monitor. Why they chose to put a matt finish on this, I don't know, but it ruins the monitor. There's a reason why Apple refuses to sell a device with a matt screen, all their screens are glossy, because matt destroys image quality. The VA panel is a huge let down as well. Just leaning back would cause colors to shift at the top and bottom of the monitor. This is a problem that doesn't exist on IPS or OLED displays, which is the majority of high-end displays out there. My unit also had a weird clicking sound coming from the left side of the monitor whenever I turned it on. I looked it up and Samsung claims this is the monitor expanding as it heats up. However, the clicking would happen every time I changed inputs, or cycled screen resolutions, even if the screen had been on for hours. As such, I believe the clicking is actually being caused by the capacitors in the internal power supply. Extremely annoying. Because of all of these issues, I returned my unit for the 49" OLED G9. That unit has a glossy screen, perfect blacks, perfect colors, perfect viewing angles, and the same 240Hz. The size and screen resolution isn't as high but it's better in every other way. It also has an external power brick so the screen doesn't click! When Samsung sells a 57" Dual 4K in OLED with a glossy screen, I'll upgrade to that. Until then, I'll stick with the 49" OLED G9.

I waited for this monitor to come out for awhile and i can say it doesnt disappoint! The picture quality is amazing. Screen gets very bright and blacks are super black. Mostly used for gaming but also makes for a great dual screen for a work station and multi tasking. Very expensive but i think its worth it for a high end ultrawide monitor.

Awesome. 4k, 240 Hz, HUGE. I upgraded from the 47" Samsung, and the difference in size is noticeable. Check compatibility withbyour video card to ensure adequate data bandwidth .... but even if you run 4k at 120 Hz, its going to be impressive

    Back Plate Piece Problem.

The monitor looks amazing and so far is. That being said, make sure you have all of the cords that you need to connect and plug in, plugged in. I plugged in my 3 cords and then put on the back plate piece to help manage the cords. I then had to remove it to add more cords and that is when the battle began. Getting that off is a tad difficult alone and then add trying to remove it once it was placed into a location was even harder. My advice is double check exactly what cords you have to plug in before adding the back plate piece on.

From reading other reviews across the web, it seems that a good experience depends on getting a "good one". I am blown away by the quality. I use it for productivity and gaming and am extremely happy. Major bummer that my 4090 can't drive it at 240hz.

This monitor is a dream for productivity and games. Its absolutely a premium product and the price reflects that, but (assuming you get a panel without issues) the experience is exactly what I hoped it would be.

4 months in. Working great. Amazing picture. I’ve only driven it up to 120hz but I have no problems driving it with my 6900xt. I don’t really do much gaming so I can’t comment on that. I got it for the real estate. I loved having a pair of 32” 4k monitors. I hated the line in the middle. This solves that. I was a little apprehensive about the aggressive curve but it’s actually just right. Beware though. This is huuuuge.

Wow…For multitasking, the ultra-wide aspect ratio is a game-changer. It’s like having two monitors without the bezels in between. Whether you’re editing videos, managing spreadsheets, or coding, the extra screen real estate is invaluable. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is worth every penny for anyone serious about gaming or needing a powerhouse for work and entertainment. It’s a significant investment, but the sheer quality, performance, and versatility make it one of the best monitors on the market.

A significant upgrade from the 49-inch curved monitor of a different brand that I was using. This new screen boasts a much better curve. It effectively reduces perceived size by positioning the entire display at a consistent distance from my eyes. While the image quality is impressive, the stand is overly bulky and takes up excessive desk space. Additionally, the multi-step power-off process typical of Samsung displays is frustrating. I often find myself leaving it in sleep mode rather than fully powering it down, despite my preference for the latter. You'll want one for home and one for the office. So, be prepared to purchase two.

I upgraded from the 49” and the previous 49” version to this monitor. Im not a gamer. I like to spread my work out. I work on multiple tasks and access information from multiple sources without clicking around or hiding and then looking for different windows. I always wanted to be able to see a full pdf form without scrolling or a set of plans in its entirety. This monitor checked all those boxes and then some. It is unbelievable how much screen space i have to work in! Easy on the eyes no heat issues. It is really amazing!

Love it! It’s been a year that I have it and I already want another one for my bedroom. I have been noticing a little glitch issues sometimes but doesn’t happen often. But I overall and happy with it. Mainly just code and surf the web. Sometimes games. But I’m very happy with it. Just needed to figure out the wires for my m1 to make it compatible. Was confusing to get the right ratio but got it and I’m super pleased.

This thing rocks! I've got a 99.9% productivity workload. And, couple the screen real estate of this monitor with Fancy Zones you can multitask with the best. This monitor replaced 2 x 32" set up. No bezzle = no haste.
