TV Dead in under 2 weeks.

Always have used Samsung products and tvs with no issue. This tv however is dead within 2 weeks of seldom use. Tv won't power off, just flickers the backlight in different hues of black. Gets intermittent sound and won't respond to anything. Power cycled and hard reset with no luck. Left unplugged 3 days and tue second plugged back in its instantly on doing its thing again. Until this point though it was good. Having to wait 2 weeks for service also is unfortunate. It is what it is. A nice TV until it broke. Hope noone else gets the bad luck here.

While you are waiting, you may want to try the self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

It’s ok

TV is very very bright so dark scenes can get a little washed out. Software is a big improvement over the 2016 7 series LCD. Much snappier and not as laggy.

Definitely worth the price paid. Pairs very well with Samsung sound bar recommended by Best Buy that I acquired in the same purchase. Range of pre-loaded apps is also excellent.

An incredible value for the price

Off angle color isn't bad, especially for a television at the $600 price point on sale. Odd size but for my application, it was perfect!

Has amazingly bright colors. Lots of customization options and ways to being in streaming service apps. This was truly a great buy!

Samsung QLED is the way to go

This 55" model is at the knee of the price point curve now which makes is a great bang for the buck. Samsung QLED is great quality.

Both TVs are great and the geek squad superb!

Great TV for those who don’t have space for 65”
