    Guys did an excellent job installing my mounting bracket and TV which is why I chose Best Buy over doing it myself.

    Ghost(ings) of VA Panels Past, Present & Future

    I will preface this by saying that I rarely ever write reviews, either positive or negative, as I find that it's typically not worth the trouble given how many other people appear to love doing this type of thing. However, this purchase is one of the very few bad ones I've made that I just can't seem to let slide without commenting about it. Maybe it's because of the ratio of what I paid to the expectations I had being so skewed. Maybe it's the extra two cups of coffee I had this morning. I mean really, who's to say? Anyways, to the heart of the matter. I purchased this TV in August and I have regretted my purchase ever since. Unfortunately due to recent events involving the pandemic, I have taken my time attempting to change settings and ultimately try and deal with the picture issues on this TV, and am no longer able to return the thing. The menu options and settings were a bit difficult to figure out at first, but now, after months of trying to constantly tweak the settings to make the picture quality somewhat bearable, I am confident in my ability to navigate the settings menu (always try to find a positive, right?) Why is this important you may ask? Well, in a nutshell: this TV has the absolute worst ghosting / bleeding effects of any TV I have ever seen, specifically while gaming on my consoles (PS4 Pro and XBox One X.) I have noticed it to a lesser extent while watching certain shows or videos, but it's definitely not as noticeable as those types of programs don't have the same styles of fast-moving objects or pixels that video games do. I actually own a TCL qled in my front room, and while it is possible for that TV to have similar issues because it's also a VA panel TV, that TV at least has options you can set that essentially removes the ghosting problem. This TV is supposed to have a similar option called LED clear motion, but I can tell you right now that it does absolutely nothing to help. I think that's my biggest frustration really, given the settings on other VA panels I have worked with at least show some improvements on the picture quality such that it's bearable. This one literally gives me a headache if I try playing for longer than 20 minutes at a time. Some might suggest that I simply received a faulty TV, though doing research online and seeing how many folks with this same model have experienced the same issue would suggest otherwise. If you, like me, we're excited to get this TV while it was on sale because you thought it would be a great upgrade for both your television programming and video game shenanigans, your excitement would likely be mostly misplaced. I would highly recommend avoiding this model, though I hear earlier year models are actually better quality and don't have this same type of issue to the extent that this one has. I of course can't confirm this myself, so you might be better off looking into a more expensive model or simply doing better research on TV's that don't have bad ghosting before your purchase, which I of course this one time didn't do.

In addition to setting adjustments you may have already tried, you may want to try the following for optimizing your image.

      Picture Clarity:
      1) Go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings
      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings:
      - Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting
      - LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off/Auto
      - Noise Reduction: Select to turn Auto/Off

      You may also want to try Game Mode and adjusting settings like Dynamic Black Equalizer to achieve the best performance.
