The oven heats up quickly and maintains consistent heat. The burners are different sizes and BTU's which allow for perfect boiling or simmering. The grill plate is removable and allows for my huge pot to simmer nicely. Two broiler settings, optional convection oven, I love this stove.

If you cook, don’t buy

It functions good for cooking simple dishes, but you so much as try to cook some beans or tamales and it literally does not withstand the heat. The stove top burners looks discolored after our first time cooking tamales. The rubber nubs that hold the grates up on top of the stove melt off. The “stainless steel” also did not withstand the heat and was discolored. We called best buy and Samsun customer support and neither were willing to help us besides sending replacement grates. We were requesting to be allowed to return the product since it clearly is not a functional stove and the answer was no since “it has no defect.” Apparently, all the things that are wrong, like the discoloration, is our fault for cooking with the wrong pot (which we’ve been using for decades). In summary, do not buy this stove if you plan on using it for cooking.

The convection feature is a delight to use. The stainless steel is very easy to keep clean. However, the supplied griddle is inadequate for more than one person, imo.

Have also tried convection feature. Used convection on my previous Thermador oven and it was great. Not sure yet on the convection.

When it works, it's nice. The oven and cooktop links to my Samsung Hood and turns on the hood automatically. Also links to my TV and let's me now when the food is ready.
