I was on the market for a 55" or 60" TV for about 6 months. I was going back and forth with a few different companies but deep down wanted a Samsung. This TV came out I watched the price for about a month or so and bought it. I CANNOT be happier. It has everything you can want, granted the 3D is not active so you need batteries for the glasses but I don't know if I will use that too often but great feature to have. Contrast ratio is great, color levels look amazing as they should for a 4K LED. Samsung KEEP IT UP!

Great picture, excellent color and 3D too. Plus, the Geek Squad did a terrific job of set up with instruction. We're very satisfied.

So I'm sure many of you have read the negative reviews stating this TV is just a Super Bowl special made from leftover parts, but WHO CARES??? Read the reviews of those that actually own the TV and they all come back the same, its a WONDERFUL TV at a great price point that retains most if not all of the features of the much higher price models that TV salesmen LOVE to upsell you on. Personally, for me, after getting similarly upsold (fleeced and burned) a few years ago on the "latest and greatest" HDTV, I vowed I simply would not ever again pay more than $1000 for an HDTV. They simply depreciate too fast to justify the price. I was waiting for an HDTV to come along that hit all of the major points I was looking for, and this JU7090 came at the right price at the right time: -120Hz processor, which helps for fast-paced action like sports, video gaming. Input signal is still 60Hz but there is still a difference between the 60/120 capable displays, check rtings dot com for more info. -4:4:4 chroma, HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 support to support the latest 4K/60Hz content and PC output with compatible graphics cards. -3D. Yes I still buy 3D movies on occasion and even use it from my PC. Most of the previous sale panels did not have 3D and/or 120Hz processor to keep prices low. -60" or bigger. There were "higher-end" 55" panels at slightly higher price points that I thought about biting on, but in the end I didn't think 9" was a big enough difference over my 46". I am glad I waited, 60" is AWESOME improvement. So overall the panel is not perfect, it takes some calibration and the black levels are still not great. Tweaking PC input is still ongoing but I have finally made the changes necessary. If you were looking at the highest end panels from Samsung or Sony you may notice the differences, but for me, coming from one of the first slim Samsung 1080p SmartTVs (D7000) the difference was simply astounding. Not only was the panel much more uniform, but everything I hated about the D7000 was mostly fixed. Per input settings memory, no need to rename the input to PC to get lag-free, non-cropped screen and fine text. And most importantly, the SMART stuff was actually usable and bearable as the menu/apps are MUCH faster. Overall very happy with this TV from BestBuy, I had a bunch of certificates that strongly encouraged me to go with BestBuy and I'm happy I waited. Great TV for a great price!!!

Great 4k tv for $999.99. It's 240 (120hz) and has 3d as a bonus. I'm so glad I was able to get this TV. I've been in the market for a while since my Sony went out after 3 yrs. Wasn't going to buy another Sony so I went with Samsung because I have an old one that still works great. If you were fortunate to get this tv at this great price, good for you. If you didn't, you missed out on a great value 4k tv.

Walked into Best Buy and saw this mid range 7000 series tv on sales for $999. About $600 off. A no brainer since I've been researching tv's recently for the bedroom because my Sony 43 died. Easy set up and after calibrating had an excellent picture. The connect box was great since I mounted this on the wall. My son in law bought the same TV a week later for his family room. He loves it.

Bit laggy but gets the job done in great picture quality and is great in 2023

I love my new 4K 60 inch by Samsung!!! This tv is totally awesome, the HD is up converted drastically and the movies look amazing. I'll be adding the 3D features next! Can't wait for the 4K converter to drop, I'll be watching a lot of 4K movies. The quality now is beautiful, I can only imagine when it's at full capacity. Thank you Samsung and thank you Best Buy, your staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Even though this TV was a Super Bowl Promo TV, I am incredibly happy with it. The bezel is clean and small, the overall thickness of the TV is super thin, then finally, the picture clarity is outstanding! ALL videos are clearer than any other TV I've owned and just the fact I can make all videos 3D is pretty sweet. The only downside it the 3D glasses are a little pricey and are the Active ones, not passive

Easy set up. 4k picture is perfect. This is my first 3D TV. Picture was great.

This TV is pretty awesome. It's my second Samsung Smart TV. I love the media hub that separates all of the HDMI connections from the TV itself to make them more accessible. Picture is very sharp, and the size is great for my living room, since the couch is set so far back. In all, I'm very happy with it.

This 4k t.v. does have a really good picture quality that rivals the more expensive Samsung models. If you're going to buy a more expensive Samsung model in the same screen size range, then you might as well wait until the OLEDs come down in price. Therefore, for this sale price, it really is a good t.v. And for all the reviews that say it does not have the "dedicated Samsung panel"--- NO 60" inch Samsung model t.v. has the true Samsung panel. So why pay double the price? It does have a good enough picture quality. With calibration it does have vibrant colors and it does have 3D which works quite well. The Sports Mode option on the remote and on its menu is a plus. It amplifies the sound and the picture. Even though all Samsung t.v.s have the connect box. This 7090 Samsung model has the MINI-Connect box which houses all input ports and the t.v. DOES WORK without this box also which cannot be said for more expensive Samsung models that have the larger CONNECT box. We disconnected the Mini - Connect box from this model and it STILL played the t.v. and showed the picture with no problem. The cord is about 4-5 feet which is the only downside. The t.v. is mounted which is nice not to pull away from the wall when you want to connect a XBOX or new DVD player. You just connect it to the MINI-CONNECT box. CONCLUSION: it's a definite buy!

I brought this TV and used for 14 days, then saw a sale on 65JS8500 series for 1999.So i returned and exchanged with 8500 series. So far my experience this TV is great, do not expect high end picture quality, if you haven't watched in other premium TVs you will not notice. Pros: Picture quality, 3D viewing and 4k Content is Great. Cons: No Smart Remote,No 3d Glasses

i haven't used the 3d yet or the PIP but I'm glad the TV has them. The auto brightness adjust setting works, but makes it too dark if you have one lamp on in the room for instance. Some motion blur exists despite the 120hz rating, not enough to be annoying in most instances. SOUND is excellent, I dont really need a sound bar any more. Sports mode is awesome (it boosts brightness and sound). It takes about 20 button clicks on the remote to turn the sleep timer on, thats dumb. Apps work pretty well.

Had the TV for two days. Very easy set up. The picture quality is fantastic, especially watching live sports in the sports mode. The mini-connect is a nice feature to have, needing only two cords in the rear of the TV. The mini-connect cord, and the power cord for the TV. The only complaint is the cords could be longer. No motion issues watching fast paced scenes. The settings were perfect right out of the box. 4K quality is excellent too. For the price and quality of this Samsung TV, I would give it five stars.

Our household is very much pro-Samsung. 3 out of 5 of our TVs,our LCD computer monitor and Blu-ray player are Samsung. Finally upgraded our last 36" CRT TV to this 60" 4K Ultra HDTV and this was a great choice not only for our budget but also for the quality TV we received. Best Buy price matched against a competitor without any issues. We had the TV delivered and the 2 men that hooked the TV up to our DirecTV box were very professional and courteous. The size of the TV is perfect to view from the kitchen and the sharpness/crispness of the picture is a huge improvement from our last TV. The 4K HD quality is very evident even compared to our 2 year old 60" Samsung LED TV in our basement which I thought was pretty decent (and still is, if you don't compare it to the new one). The only thing is that, although I really could take it or leave it, the description did say it was 3D. I've read that that was actually a misprint on Samsung's or Best Buy's part and this TV is not 3D capable. To be honest, I don't know if it is because we haven't tried it out so can't really ding it for that. Overall, very happy with our TV and so are the kids.

We decided to upgrade to a newer/bigger TV. Knowing nothing about any of the new technologies out there we started with checking reviews for TV's that would meet our needs. We found this model and decided to go to Best Buy to get more info. The sales people who worked with us were very patient and knowledgeable. They showed us various brands and models, asked us what we planned to use it for; gaming, sports, etc. and what we expected from it. They basically fitted us with a TV based on our wants and expectations. It couldn't have been a better choice. This TV is great. The color and vividness is outstanding. We watch NASCAR and the picture stays right up with the speed things are happening. No blurring or picture loss the detail is amazing, the first time I watched a race I could actually see the lug nuts flying as they changed the tires in the pits. It's great of other sports, movies, and tv shows. The setup and programming was very simple as well. Like I said we are not Tech Savoy and this so simple set up and go going. We are absolutely satisfied with this TV and the level of service we received from Best Buy.

This TV surpassed my expectations in every department. Nice picture quality Sound was on a low side but I already had a sondbar so no issues there. 3D works perfectly and the best part is I can watch live TV in 3D Mode and TV converts 2D to 3D in a acceptable way. In nutshell, I can't be more happy having this TV
