magnificent image and incredible detail! nature shows look incredibly lifelike. I had a 50" Samsung and snatched this 65" up the day it went on sale. while the speakers are 4 out of 5 I hooked up a soundbar and the total effect, especially on sci-fi and action flicks, is out of this world! the Dr. Who special, when played with cinema special fx on the soundbar, was exhilarating! you-tube and even my photos on my computer are awesome at 65"! my second Samsung TV, we just put the 50" in the bedroom where it is keeping me awake at night (the re-runs never looked so good!) 65" screen at 240hz is mind-blowing!

If you are looking for a TV that has very good picture quality than this might be one for you. If you are looking for one that is smart then be careful of what the claims are. Sure you can see facebook on it, or Netflix but other than that it's worthless. The remote you talk into is worthless. This is how that works. You press a button on the remote and say what time is "blank" program on. Then it shows you every channel and every time and everyday it is on. If you don't have a cable box maybe that would be useful but no thanks. As for volume up or channel up you might as well just press the button to get to where you want to go than press a button and say what you want and then let the computer voice say I didn't understand. So good picture, everything else is dumb and slow.

Picture quality is GREAT! Lots of features.Lots of online apps. Sound quality is excellent. This TV has a very strong wireless reception, and I was able to use it as a wireless repeater to extend WI-Fi coverage throughout the house. My only issue with this TV, (and that goes for all Samsung TVs), the audio out is fixed. When connected to an external amp to drive my speakers, I have to use the amp's remote to adjust the volume. Some other TV Manufacturer such as Sony give you the option to choose between fixed audio and variable audio out, allowing you to use your existing TV remote to adjust the audio out.

I have been really enjoying getting to know my new smart TV. It has an amazingly clear picture and some really cool features. Some of these features I am still getting familiar with, so I am still a bit clumsy. Other features have not been as good as I would like - the "Guide" does not operate in sync with my cable box (also Samsung), the "voice" command features do not always work well. But overall I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

Have had this 7100 series 65" Samsung LED for about a month now. Picture quality is top notch. I also considered 70" Sharp and Vizio M Series, but kept coming back to the Samsung due to the picture quality. I am still amazed each time I turn this TV on. This Smart TV if filled with features, Apps, and technology. Setting this TV up was a snap for anyone that is technologically knowledgeable. I would make this same purchase again today.

This TV is great. I did a lot of research and 2 things were really important: Picture Quality and buying a TV that would not be obsolete in 2 years. I find more and more features with this TV everyday. The 240Hz is awesome, the 3D capability is an added plus, and internet capability is cool. The only drawback is the sound. The speakers are on the back of the TV and don't provide much sound at all. I got a Samsung soundbar and it connected automatically when the TV is turned on. No need for any wires/HDMI cables. This TV is worth it!

The Samsung HDTV was easy to set up. The picture quality is amazing. It feels like you are right there with the actors. Easy to connect up to a wireless system, was up and running in very little time. The only issue I had was I needed to connect a sound system to the TV. The internal speakers are alright but not great for movies. I know that most of the TVs on the market are meant to connect an additional sound system to them.

I love this TV. The size is amazing, it has almost no edge around the screen itself. The 3D quality is amazing, even on programs that are not broadcast in 3D. The SmarTV functionality is awesome and intuitive (and looks beautiful). I love using Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video. There's only one thing to not like about this TV and it is the factory speakers. If you are spending this much money on a TV, you need to purchase a surround sound system - don't rely on the TV speakers.

I have been itching to upgrade my great room Samsung TV from a 55 inch to a 60 inch and possibly a 65 inch set (Samsung). My 55" was wall mounted, and I had room to mount either the 60 or 65 inch models! So off to Best Buy to take a tour! The salesman easily talked me into the Samsung 65" as I compared the two side by side. 240 HTZ definitely makes a difference which the 65" model offered! Set is set up, and I am extremely happy, especially with football in the air!

Love the TV. Great design and nice picture once it settled in. Haven't used the apps much yet but there are several. Used the 3D once and was nice - that said, I don't have much to compare it to as it is my first 3D.

I am very happy with the picture quality of this television. I have a surround sound system so I don't use the television sound. I wasn't that impressed with the sound that came from the tv but it might just be because I am use to my own sound system. I was pleasantly surprised by the 3D movies. I thought it was a feature that I would never use but I was wrong. After watching one 3D movie, I was looking forward to watching more.

This tv is packed with features and apps. Had no problem with setup. Seems to be an issue with audio pass through compatibility with my surround sound receiver switching to a default tv input rather than the last used input. Not a huge deal but different than my last samsung tv. All together great picture, sound, look, and connectivity. Probably the best looking tv out there.

I was concerned about having such a large tv in the house but it is the perfect size to sit on a standard media console to look proportional. It fills one end of our den and looks like an attractive peice of furniture with the console combination. The picture quality, smart tv features and sound with the standard sound bar are exceptional. We are very pleased with this tv.

Bought this as a replacement for my Sony Bravia 60". I was immediately impressed by how thin the screen is. Picture quality is really awesome esp with full hd. I tried the 3D function and it really amazes me how stunning the quality is. The universal remote makes your neighbor envy you. Only downfall is the tv volume which is really low when watching cable sd shows.

I was looking for a large (65") TV. Decided on LED vs plasma because the plasmas were either too dim (Panasonic) for my bright room, or too expensive (the Samsung 8500), plus I still worry about image retention as I plan to do lots of gaming. This Samsung 7100 offered good picture quality for an LED set. It was easy to set up. Many of the smart features I will not use, but the direct connection to Netflix is handy (I use a wired ethernet connection, though it also offers wireless). I like the Samsung control menu. Still getting used to the touchpad remote control, but like it so far.

The picture quality is amazing, the 240Hz is great for watching football with a clear picture. The only negative is the sound, you will need either a sound bar or stereo system. All the new Tv's only have tiny speakers in the back and require sound systems. Check out the Bose Solo, I'm amazed that little box can put out perfect audio for watching TV and Movies.

The size is perfect for our large famiy room, the viewing areas are just so much better than with our previous TV. The sound is ok, but with our Bose Surround sound attached, it's as good as it gets! The 3D feature just knocks my socks off!! I'm still dodging and ducking. We looked at many different models, but found the Samsung to be the best for us in all ways.

This is the thinnest TV I've ever had. It looks great on my wall and the pictures is great. It even adjusts to the light in the room!.

The TV has great picture quality and is surprisingly lightweight. I had finished my basement in 2010 but had not really used it; now I'm down there every night. We've had friends and family over to watch all the playoff games and the picture is phenomenal. Be sure your room is big enough though, at 65", your couch or chair needs to be 8' to 10' away or else you'll sprain your neck swiveling from side to side. The internet connection is not something I had considered valuable until I started poking around. With Amazon Prime or Netflix, I can now stream shows and movies with a click of the remote. I could possibly even justify getting rid of my cable... but I'm not there yet.

I started out with purchasing the Samsung Magnoilia 65" F8000, we been through 6 of them and they all had problems, so we took them back. When we seen this model in the store we gave it a try. We are so happy we purchased this model. The picture is crisp and clear, and there's No ghosting when we watch the 3D. This is a Great Deal for a Excellent TV.
