It was a lot of fun installing my new late Christmas present present. Took a while to ensure no visible wires. The TV picture is astounding...wel do not have cable or satellite...just using a high def antenna. The news people probably do not like the 4K resolution...there isn't enough makeup to hide your flaws with this TV. It took a week or so for my brain to be ok with the resolution..it is so real and the eye it's not used to something this real. I love the features, and it does require some learning because there are so many options. I'm past watching anything that is not at least HD because this sucker upscaled it like wow. There are moments when it gets behind and the resolution drops for several seconds, but it soon corrects itself. And it looks awesome!

Mounted on wall using a Sanus full motion mount purchased with tv. Mount was easy to install and it allows me to position the tv facing any angle I wish. Had a Samsung 50" HDTV prior to purchasing this one. Was very satisfied with the picture so that is why i purchased this 65" Ultra HDTV with 3D. Also looked at this tv in store, side by side with other manufactures and the picture sharpness and color stood out. It was easy to set up. Has a great picture. Also has an on-screen users manual. Wireless capable. 3D glasses that came with tv work great and paired to tv easily. Each pair of glasses comes with spare battery. Shows or movies that aren't in HD look a little grainy but they looked the same way on my old 50" HD.

This TV is incredible. The quality of the picture is amazing and it's way beyond my expectations. The 3D capabilities are great and comes with 4 active 3D glasses. I couldn't be more pleased. I'll give it five stars but was slightly disappointed that I couldn't WIRELESSLY connect my desktop computer to it to display my desktop. Was able to connect my laptop via HDMI which was fine when I need to. The Smart View 2.0 app from Samsung was able to play videos and music from my desktop to TV flawlessly. It is really a very very nice unit and updates it's software automatically via it's WIFI. I'm a Sony guy but the compatible Sony unit doesn't update automatically. Buy it, you will be really happy !!!

This TV is one of the best on the market. The picture quality is superb especially when connected to XBOX One. The features are great and easy to use. Glad i bought it.....no disappointments whatsoever!

Salesperson was great helped me out lot.I didn't know what kind of smart TV to buy ,but knew I wanted a really nice one. The Samsung 4K 8550 65' is the best TV ever. It has excellent picture quality, easily connects to my 3D bluray player, soundbar and sub woofer(which both are now samsung). It comes with a stylish stand but we mounted ours on the wall in the basement. I LOVE watching this TV,the Smarthub is great with all the Apps, the voice activated remote is amazing and the 3D makes me feel like I'm at the Movie theater sitting in the best seat in the house. This is way more then I expected Best TV ever!!

this tv is absolutely great. the only problem is that 1080 channels off my cable connection seem to flicker. I have to run the self diagnostic once a day to stop the screen from flickering. Netflix is fine. Hulu is fine, just the cable. it happens every morning...I run the self diagnostic, and its fine for the rest of the day. its super odd. I called Samsung tech support and they couldn't do anything about it. they said to call my cable company ( cablevision/optimum ) that's been inconclusive. other than this little annoyance, the TV is absolutely great. Kids love the 3D. I love the ultra HD off netflx. everyone loves the 65 inches!

Easy set up, a lot of fun.picture very bright but little don't like it's base stand, looking not fully safe. If come with built in camera is much better.

I got story for you... I purchased this tv and immediately loved it. But for the price and the 4K content that was out, I wondered if the curved 1080p/240hz 8000 model would be more beneficial. It wasn't. Then I tried the Curved 4K 9000 model because I did enjoy the added dimension that the curve added. All though the dimension was quit nice, the curve seemed really pix-elated. Back to the store it went, and I walked out with this model...the one I purchased the first time. From the first viewing, you notice the picture quality. None of the other models compared to this one.

Purchased this only a month ago, as an anniversary gift to ourselves. We watch the Patriot's football games, and have been extremely satisfied with the picture quality. This TV was very easy to install an setup. My kids love the 3D and Smart TV functions. We are completely satisfied with our purchase.

I bought this product because I know UHD content will be coming out more this year. For example, Breaking Bad was just released on Netflix and it looks incredible. Its a chicken-and-egg situation with content providers and TV manufacturers, but the product was a good price and I had to have it. Even for 1080p content, it looks better than my previous model (a high-end 2013 Samsung model). It handles upscaling very well. Don't listen to what other people tell you regarding "you won't notice a difference unless you sit XX feet from the TV" - trust me; it looks better. That being said, I would not recommend purchasing a 4K TV at this time unless HD is like crack to you, like it is to me, and you plan to get a jump-start on watching 4K content. I say "meets my expectations" because I have a very high expectation for Samsung. Go to any Best Buy and look for the brightest, most vibrant TV there; I bet you a nickel it will be a Samsung. In terms of sound quality - I cannot speak much on this. I have a Bose home theater system, so it sounds terrible to me through the TV speakers; I do not use them. I have yet to see uncompressed 4K content, but am pleasantly surprised with the quality of 4K streaming content via Netflix, Vimeo, YouTube, etc.

Love the 4k screen and 3d capabilities. Very user friendly. Even our 3 year old has figured out how to work most of the features.

This smart set has beautiful picture quality and it was easy to setup the picture parameters suggested by CNET. The smart aspect allows fast navigation from cable programs to choice streaming content or DVDs played on an attached Blu-Ray player. The addition of outboard sound equipment gives the feel of real theater quality. We love it

It was the best choice and I didn't listen to the nay sayers about no 4K content being released yet. You rent a Blue Ray and watch on this baby and you are left speechless. I can't even imagine how the picture is going to improve with 4k as it is already perfect. Didn't get to use the 3D yet, but look forward to the experience. The Smart Hub and remote work very well and lots of options for streaming and other apps. Got a great price and Best Buy staff were great to work with.

Picture quality for the 4K upscale works fine. 3D movies and the glasses work. Only watched 1 movie so far. Not too many out there I like in 3D. Picked the features on the set for the highest motion rate. The sports look good. Only gripe that I hope will be fixed by the never ending software updates is: When going from the web browser back to normal TV, the TV does not sense the active HDMI port from my cable box. Others told me about this and they were correct. So turning off the TV and cable box gets annoying after using the web browser. The web browser will not ever replace a home PC but it works so its not that big a deal.

This is by far the best tv for the price point that you can buy that is 3d enabled, pip, 4hdmi connects, blue tooth, 4k , surround sound and so much more! Samsung keeps the bar high... The plus is the picture quality..unmatched at 65"...the con is the speaker options..they are very sensitive and can be quirky to navigate for installing your home theater reciever ...other than that there is no problems with this tv...very impressive and i do recommend

This is my first Samsung purchase and I have to admit that I'm blown away. Crisp and clear picture - the default setting with Samsung are usually too colorful and too bright - I had to tune it town a notch. Otherwise, the TV is excellent. All 4K TVs upscale incoming signal to and some TVs have visible artifacts - I haven't noticed any artifacts on this one. I don't have any 4K source so can't say what it'll look like on a 4K signal though.

This 65" panel is amazing, makes any normal room feel high end. Picture is as advertised. 2D to 3D convert works better than I thought. Smart features are easy to setup and use, but I probably won't use them often. This panel controls our comcast X1 box via hdmi, so you don't need multiple remotes if you don't want them out. Small wand style remote tops all other remotes, plus it's small and simple...just like using a mouse or wii controller.

Love the picture quality and the 3D is to die for! Sound is really low - unless you have it hooked up to a receiver with great speakers you have to turn it up really high to get that movie theatre feeling! Not too much broadcasting in 4K right now and the blacks are still a little off, but I think that's just a Samsung issue. Hulu Plus App no longer working after only 1 month- I hear Samsung has lots of issues keeping the Hulu App functioning. If you have to have 4K now - it's one of the best - if you can wait - save the money and buy something else.

Great picture. Easy to use. Smart function makes using Netflix, YouTube. Etc. a breeze.

Good looking picture, lots of features. Was a little bit of work to get the picture the way I wanted it. Seems like it should have been easier. Also annoying that when using CES feature, it sends a AV4 command to the audio receiver but I want the receiver to use HDM!2 and I have to play with the Logitech smart remote control timing to jury rig it to work. Adds to the start up cycle time. Other than that a very good product and am happy
