As with others, I spent several months debating the purchase of this TV. 1 month after purchase, I must state I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. Great sharpness, vivid colors and overall ease of use. Highly recommend connecting with a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system or sound bar. Definitely worth the money, can't wait to my upcoming Geek Squad calibration in order to maximize by TV settings.

Originally purchased the Samsung 65" curved 4k model 7250 ... Really really really wanted to like it because of the curve and the price ... However the picture quality wasn't there. In addition, any seat from off center was washed out. Exchanged for this one ... Had to pay $600 more but so worth it and drastically thinner than the curved. Such amazing quality and lifelike images. The limited amount of 4k content is truly stunning but even regular 1080p from Comcast is amazing. There is a bit of ghosting during some hardcore black levels but I've yet to find a brand that doesn't do that at some point. I really never watched that much tv ... Maybe an hour or two a night ... But I really wanted this tv. Now I get home from work and don't move from the sofa for hours. Not sure that's the best thing instead of exercising at the gym ... But that's a testament to the picture quality. Can't wait until the 4k bluray players appear. That will be my next purchase. Great return policy with the first tv. No questions asked and the new one was swapped just a few days later. This was a definite "Best Buy"!

What's great about this television is the clean refresh rate. Whether watching 4K content or HD content being upscaled there is no "motion blur" or "ghosting" in the image! The upscaling looks remarkably clear even with cable programming. Smart features, 3D, Evolution Kit—Capable are all awesome benefits as well. I highly recommend selecting a Samsung 4K over the other competitors and stepping up to the HU8550 for its fast imaging. Note: the reason I say best in the series is because I personally don't favor the curve models. Not to say they aren't nice televisions just to say prices vs. features the HU8550 seems to be the winner.

I bought this TV for the excellent picture quality, and I am very pleased. I wished it was a 240HZ as it seems a little slow "jittery" on fast moving action. The sound is adequate but I will be adding a BOSE Sound Bar. The TV has a lot more features than I will probably ever use or need.

We were concerned moving from a plasma to LED that the picture quality would be disappointing. At first view, we did not like the "soap opera" effect, blue tint, and bright back lighting. However, after applying settings recommended by CNET, we absolutely love the picture now! Warm tones expected from a plasma with the fine clarity of LED. Perfect!

This TV is amazing. The upscaling works so well it makes older movies look like new releases. It was also really easy to setup. I had it connected to the net immediatley and was able to use Netflix and Hulu Plus right away. I would have given 4.5 stars (not an option) I did not give 5 because after a couple of weeks I was no longer able to use Hulu due to some problem with the Samsung browser. I've googled the problem and think I see a fix...wish me luck

Picture quality is top notch, even when just watching satellite HD channels. Everything is crisp and clean. Xbox gaming is superb also. Set up is pretty much automatic and easy to comprehend and follow. updates are very simple and automatic also. Sound quality is pretty good, however, i recommend a sound bar, I chose Polk. and sounds great. It really is a good investment. I did my research and comparison and took a while to decide. Last note: I didn't wall mount it, used the the stand it came with. took me a minute to figure it out, didn't see it in the instructions. Was worried the stand couldn't hold up the weigh, still am, but its working perfect, so far.

This is the best TV that I've ever had. The picture is absolutely fantastic. I have had it for about a month now and have been extremely impressed by the picture and the ease of use. I ended up adding a Samsung 2.1 sound bar and this combo produce is impressive sound. I would highly recommend this TV!

The time I've had this TV I've been very happy, the picture quality and imaging too some getting used too as it's a whole different watching experience and so enjoyable to watch, I've never owned nor have I ever seen a 3D movie before purchasing this set so I first watched Edge Of Tomorrow at the theater first so I'd have something to compare too so after watching a 3D movie on the Samsung UN65HU8550FXZA LED 4K Ultra HD TV it was as good if not better then the theater, I don't really have Pro's and Cons only what I've experienced with the TV so far actually I've not found and cons yet. Dealing with BestBuy was also a pleasure they worked with me on the price and received great customer service.

We've had this TV approximately 45 days and are pleased with the purchase. Pros: 1. Excellent picture 2. Easy set up and connection to existing devices and internet 3. Controls are reasonably intuitive. Cons: 1. Speakers don't project sound as well as we'd like. Will be adding a sound bar. 2. Touch pad device can be aggravating at times. May be some user error involved. Jury still out on this.

After a rocky start with an assistant manager, I was able to order and receive this quality 4k television from Best Buy. It came properly packaged and undamaged. The store honored the on line price of the television. It was replacing a smaller 1080 television but installation was easy. The start up picture must be adjusted. There are many places online that offer recommended settings for this set. I'd look at them first. The sound is terrible. I've owned three other Samsung products and by far this was the worst sound. But a Samsung wireless sound bar did the trick. The television recognized the sound bar right away. Now it is the best sounding "television" we have. The smart features are terrific. I have't watched 3d but I didn't buy the television for that. Enjoy

The picture on this TV is unreal, particularly Blue Ray movies....it's like being there. I haven't used the 3D function yet as it's not really too important to me... I have noticed what I believe is called "judder" when watching regular TV, particularly hockey...that's when the image seems to instantaneously freeze and then "catch-up" and so the picture judders...It sounds as though that's a function of the cable, in my case comcast, companies technology( or more accurately, lack there of) so there's no real way to fix until they start broadcasting more 4K stuff. I have NOT noticed any judder when watching Blue-rays. I bought a Samsung sound bar because I wasn't too impressed with the sound, TV's are so thin now it seems that's just the nature of the beast, and it integrates seamlessly with the TV. A few weeks later I also bought some high end HDMI cables specifically for 4K UHD that use Redmere technology and I would recommend those...the judder seemed reduced.

This is the best TV I have ever owned. The picture, the colors, the sound...it's all great. I feel like I'm at the theater when I'm watching something in 3D. The Geek Squad were so helpful. They hung my TV and Samsung sound bar perfectly. This is one SmartTV!

Nice looking television. Slick colors and slim design. Only weighs 50 pounds. Picture is very clear and upgrades everything with an hdmi. Only has duel screen, not the 4 like "multi" suggests. The apps work great on the smart tv hub. Overall great tv.

Great TV , the sound the picture quality and color are all exceptional wish there was a keyboard with the TV the remotes are good the 3 d glasses are good and easy to use. We are enjoying it. Still getting used to all the great features

The tv works great. So far no complaints. The picture upgrade works nice for the 4K and like the built in features. Just watched a new 3D movie and it was amazing. Loving it so far.

This TV gets TOP points for picture quality, visually it is absolutely STUNNING. You can't go wrong with the 4K UHD. Clarity is so good. I love how thin the bezel in, when you turn out the lights it really does look like a movie screen. Best TV I've ever owned. (minor issue really) My only gripe is the whole feature that Samsung boasts about being able to stream to/from your devices and laptops. Flat out, it is/was not ready and the technology is a joke, they weren't ready to roll it out and even though they have 2 versions of the app for IOS devices, tech support will tell you it is incompatible with IOS devices...HUH? Just dumb. That being said, you're not buying this TV strictly for this feature so if you are get something else. However, the TV more than makes up for this little perk with EVERYTHING else.

So very happy with this Samsung 65" 4K ULTRA HD TV! We are enjoying the many SMART features available along with stunning picture quality and ease of use. Four of our family members just got same TV, some in a different size class.

This is a great TV and my limited 3D viewing indicates that it is also very good in 3D. The picture is great with all types of media, standard TV, HDTV, DVD's and Blu-ray's. The up-scaling improves all, but the better media does look better.

It is better than being in a movie theater. The 3D is outstanding. Coupled with my home theater audio system, viewing Blue Ray and Dish movies is a movie lovers dream.
