I love this tv! It has a beautiful picture and has almost all the extras of Samsung's much more expensive sets. It has native 120 refresh rate and the new remote. It's also 3-D. I had a Vizio M model and this 7100 series is a much better tv.

I have a handfull of other 1080P flatscreens in my home, which have been nice, with a good picture, but at least for now, you can't beat the crispy clean clarity of 4K... I do gotta say, i love this TV... I waited in debate for a while deciding when i was going to pull the trigger on a 4K, & finally i felt it was time... I've had this TV now for about a month & i have no regrets... It has a lot of options so you can customize the settings to your liking, youtube etc loads pretty fast, & the HDMI/USB/Optical hub it comes with is nice too, it makes adding devices easier esp if your tv is mounted on a wall. My only complaint is the remote, it doesn't have number pads, it's all done on-screen with the Nintendo Wii style remote, I'm used to it by now but still wish it had number pads... All in all this is a great 4K Smart TV... If you get all of your settings right, you'll love the picture quality, hands down...

I think this TV is great. The clarity is spectacular and the sound quality is also great. The menus and the TV itself is very user friendly. I love the fact that there is a pointer feature on the remote as well as button functionality. The only reason why I didn't rate this TV as a 5 is because it freezes every now and then. A quick power cycle solves the issue but I feel that it shouldn't be an issue to begin with. I would assume that these issues are resolved in the series 9 tv but I can't be 100% sure. The only thing that I haven't figured out is how to connect my sound bar to the TV via HDMI cable but I also didn't take a lot of time to figure it out. I just attempted a plug and play and I guess it's not that simple.

This Samsung TV is a wonderful TV, especially for the price. It has a clear and sharp picture, the smart TV suite is intuitive and not too crowded, and the included remote is great (It has a pointer and click feature which makes it really easy to use). The only problems that I have noticed with it are that one, the Netflix app sometimes gives an error if it is launched right after the TV is turned on. But it works just fine if you re-open the app. Also, the system insists on telling you if you are on an input, and there is no signal from that input, which sometimes gets in the way of doing other things (like accessing apps). All around a great TV and well worth the price!

Excellent upgrade for our previous Samsung TV

This is an upgrade from our previous TV. Our previous model Samsung was a 62" DLP 1080P and was 10 years old with all original parts and still had a great picture, but started to get the pixel failure. We had been looking for a great replacement knowing that Samsung would be the choice. This 65" model has proven to be excellent. Picture quality superb. Some of the remote features are slow but not a show stopper. Processor speed is quick for video and app usage. Programming with accessory equipment is easy. Built in wifi is a plus. The TV software updates sometimes cause the need to refresh the sync features on the directv and Sony receiver devices, this could be the way I choose to set up the devices. I will reset and update post later. All and all extremely happy with the picture it is like being right in the program we are watching. The performance thus far is dependable and would not expect anything else from Samsung product.

Wow what a great picture. The colors and the contrast of this set are amazing. I have a 6 year old LN46B650 that this replaced and this is an improvement in every way. I have considered 4k and 3d gimmicky in the past but I have changed my mind. I upgraded my netflix account so I can get 4k videos and I am just wowed. The 4k offerings are kind of slim at this point but they are worth it imo. This set does not come with the 3d glasses but I didn't care since I knew the samsung set with replaceable batteries were only $20 a pair. I watched a Transformers blu-ray in 3d and it was impressive. At the current price of $1999 this set is a steal

My internet was a little tricky at first, and I'm not sure if it was my provider or the TV. However, it straightened itself out after a day and has been perfect ever since. I switched the settings to some that I found through one of the previous comments. That helped a bunch, as the "soap opera" effect was too much for my wife to handle. The remote works well and has some cool features. I haven't really used the Smart TV part for anything other than Netflix, but I upgraded that to the UHD package and it looks incredible. I can't compare to any other UHD TVs, but I can't imagine it getting any better than this.

Great picture, and I like the new SmartHub (upgrading from a 2012 Samsung). Sound is decent when we first got it but we added a sound bar so I haven't listen to the TV on its own for a while. Apps are quick to load and I'm getting some use out of the Playstation Now app, connected a PS dualshock 4 controller and keyboard to the TV. The TV really shines when you stream 4K content (watched some off Amazon prime) just need more to really take advantage of the TV. I chose this one over the Sony 65" 850c and I'm glad I did, saved some money and picked up great TV.

Received this as a Christmas gift. Replaced a 52" LED that we bought back in 2006. Picture and features are phenomenal. I really like the simplistic remote and on screen interaction. Samsung picture quality is second to none in my opinion. One design feature that stands out is the way connections are made to the TV. Only one cable runs to the back of the TV and connects to a "hub" that stays in the entertainment center. Whenever you want to connect another source or change out a component, it's much easier with the "hub" than trying to make connections on the back of the TV.

    Best picture quality

Compared to all the 65" TV's, this has the best picture quality in the price range. Sound is actually good enough without a sound bar. We noticed some slight judder depending on the signal but it is not a significant issue. The beautiful color, clarity, brightness, viewing angels, and overall stunning picture made it the top choice. Tried Sony x810c but the Sony's picture seemed flat and sometimes pixilated on a Netflix 4k video next to Samsung ju7100 when playing side by side. Can't beat 24 month free financing plus a good price and awesome tv. Also has 3D. If you want to save $300, the Sony x810c is also very good but we felt it was worth the extra money for a better overall picture to get the Samsung. If you like sports or videogames, this is the tv for you.

Wiith the upscaling this tv makes even shows from the 70s more stunning and colorful than I have ever seen. And the interactive 3D let me see the full 3D effect for the first time in my life, better than the theater even. It took a long time for me to make the decision to buy a big screen tv and I am thrilled with this Samsung!

The television is great. My only problem is that there is some motion blur when watching 3D movies but this may be fixed with some setting I haven't figured out yet. The upscaling is awesome and much better when the signal comes from the tv itself and not a box (e.g. native apps and even OTA). Does not come with 3D glasses though so be sure to purchase bluetooth signal active shutter glasses if you're upgrading from an older 3D television, care about 3D, or have a large 3D library and just need to add glasses.

We didn't intend to buy this but it was black friday and we were just looking around when we noticed this TV on sale. I like Samsung TV's because of the color and crispness of the images. Our old TV was on it's last breath and this was a size upgrade for us. The images are clear and the color rendition is great. I love how it's wifi ready and we can just hit a button to get on to Netflix. Definitely a great purchase that we enjoy every day.

I bought the 65 inch model(Samsung UN65JU7100FXZA) I read the reviews at the Wirecutter.com and rtings.com before taking an in store view of various TV's. I am very happy with my choice after about living with it for over a month now. We have viewed numerous movies, sporting events and steaming videos(also youtube videos). I have this as the center piece of my family room 5.1 home theatre. It is connected to a Denon AVR-S910W 7.2-Channel Full 4K Ultra HD A/V Receiver and some older Boston acoustic satellite speakers with powered subwoofer. Its also connected to a Roku. The picture quality is stellar even for regular HD TV which is what most content we watch is. The UHD upscaling is great and maked it hard to watch regular HD TV . We love the picture that this TV produces and the default settings are great for picture quality. This TV works great even in a fairly sunny room and the sound from the TV is reasonably good from its own speakers. It has plenty of connection capabilities and I am using the HDMI and optical audio connections to run to the Denon Receiver. There is no loss of signal when running the video or audio to and from the reciever to the TV. The remote takes a little getting used to but is fairly simple to use with the built in tutorial. I also bought a VIZIO M55-C2 55 about a week later for my basement 5.1 home theater. If you are in the Market for a new 4K UHD TV the Samsung UN65JU7100FXZA is one of the very best for the money. (As many of the reviews have stated the Vizio is a decent second choice).

I wanted to replace another Samsung 52" I had bought several years earlier and gravitated towards another Samsung. My current TV was going in my basement office and this 65" was taking over as the workhorse of the house. I wanted the 240Hz motion plus feature, 4k capability and 3D capability for 3D BlueRay which with the active glasses look amazing. So for size, 3D, 4K, 240Hz, all wrapped up into a single unit, this was the best option. Always been pleased with Samsung initial quality and capabilities and would easily recommend this to friends. FYI, you will also want to get the top of the line HDMI cables to go with it that support 60Hz 4K, so I opted for some 18 Gbps cables with Redmere active filtering from Monoprice. They were only $25 a piece and I needed 3 of them, one for Sat box, one for the Samsung BlueRay and one for my XBOX One. Connected the audio output from the TV (optical ToS link) to my aging Yamaha receiver for great sound, so the TV now acts as my switching device and thus, all the cables were run together up through my wall. Keep this in mind if you are using the TV as the switching devices vs. a receiver. Also, to stream 4k and/or 3D content (Netflix, VUDU, Amazon) a WIRED Ethernet is going to work the best. If you must go wireless, you will need an AC Router (802.11ac) that supports 1 Gbps or higher at 5 GHz and dedicate wireless router to the 65" exclusively AND keep it close as possible to the TV since 5 GHz transmission band is more susceptible to signal loss around corners, through walls, etc.

After looking for an extended period of time for the best picture we could find it was between a LG and Samsung 4K The base on the LG eliminated it because it would not fit on our current piece of furniture (victorian) and we are not willing to replace that Having 2 other flat screen Lgs it was not an easy choice but we are well satisfied withe the Samsung It matched up well with out Klipsch sound bar and while we dont actually get the 4k we feel it was worth the extra money to get the better quality that comes in the 7100 series. Picture is terrific and noticable better than the 55 inch 1080 Lg that is now in our basement Movies (even old ones ) are almost 3D without wearing any glasses The Geek squad set it up and could not have been better or more accomodating Overall an A+ experience
