I was skeptical on getting the tv because of the price but once I got it, I'm glad that I did. Not only is the picture clear and colors real vibrant, watching blu-ray movies on it is simply amazing. I'm also a big gamer and I can tell how much more clear the games look playing on the Xbox one. The remote is the only thing that may need getting used to just because it has minimal buttons than on a normal remote, but I will say the pointer feature on it is really cool and it fits comfortable in the hand. Kinda feels like a thing from Star Trek haha. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone that are looking for a top of the line 4k TV.

Finally, 4K TV prices have come down enough for me to pull the trigger. I'm sure it won't be long before it comes even lower than the $2k price tag that I bought this for. The 2 year interest free financing was also super attractive. For me, this has a better picture than the LG and Sony. Not to mention it also plays a ton of codecs built in. I just put it in my hard drive and navigate to the folder and wow. I'm still constantly amazed by the breathtaking picture. My wife and I hate that live motion mode and so this tv handles movies well when that feature is turned off. Just get this tv already. You won't regret it.

I did a lot of research before buying the 65" JS8500 TV. I am extremely happy with this TV. Only a couple cons so far. My old TV was a 58" plasma which had a great picture from any angle. The new TV has a great picture from a straight shot, but the picture fades when viewed from even a slight angle. It's my understanding this is the case with any LCD TV, but I was not going to spend the bucks for an OLED type. And, I note some jerky motion (juddering?) at times. Nothing serious, but the reviews all noted this TV had excellent "clear motion" so perhaps I just need to do some more tweaking with settings. All in all, a great TV.

Not enough I can say about this TV!! Super clear, colors are cleaner & brighter than I have ever seen. Now re watching alot of blurays, seeing things I didnt see originally!

This TV is absolutely awesome! The #D is the best I've seen yet on a home TV. The set up was so simple and the picture quality with up scaling is superb. Thanks Best Buy!

Had been looking for a new larger TV for our living room and couldn't pass this one up I am in love with all the great features and the remote is super nice easy to use

Had been debating about buying this TV vs the Sony. Got an excellent price during Black Friday Event. Availed the free delivery and was glad I did so. The first television that was delivered had some trouble with the stand since we did not wall mount the unit. Best Buy immediately replaced it with another one. This TV replaced an older Sony LED of the same size. The picture is obviously amazing. Sound was not very good but that is to be expected with the speakers in the back. Hooked it up with my old Bose surround system and that took care of the sound issue. Thanks Best Buy for the wonderful customer service

I bought this TV before Thanksgiving because it was on a ridiculously deep, deep discount at Best Buy. The colors on this TV pop off the screen compared to my previous 55" Samsung. My content via my cable TV does not highlight the 4K potential of this TV, but Blu-ray content was very crisp and enjoyable. I brought this TV home and enjoyed it for 30 days, and as we were watching a show, a vertical line appeared through the screen that would not go away. After running the screen diagnostic and reading info online, the TV needed to be returned to Best Buy. Fortunately I bought this TV through the Holiday return program so they took it back and have set up for a replacement TV to arrive at my house 10 days later (TV was out of stock). As a precautionary measure I have purchased a 2-year Geek Squad warranty in case this problem occurs again with the replacement TV. So I like the TV, hate that I got one that had a problem, and hope that the replacement lives up to the 4.7/5.0 star rating this TV has been receiving.

The picture quality is amazing. The 3D is amazing. I like the menu structure and the remote a lot. Only complaint is the stand is a bad design for such a large TV.

Color is greatest love the almost instant on. With a Zvox sound bar voices are outstanding. Can't wait for baseball as with 65in it will be close to being there.

I researched quite a bit before buying this set. The new firmware on the TV is pretty quick, you can add your apps as required, so you can do 4K Youtube, Amazon Prime, Netflix and of course M-GO. The external box for your connections is convenient, though I don't see why it doesn't have ALL the connections on there, such as Ethernet. In my case I use the pedestal, but perhaps in a wall-mount scenario, that external box may be a bit of a pain. I don't like the remote though. Picture quality is insanely good, the screen is bright enough, and has sufficient contrast for use during the day.

This is a great TV. Brilliant picture and easy to set up and easy to operate...even my wife knows how to use it! Best TV I have ever owned and price was great.

I loved it in the store and love it even more on my wall. I was sold when the salesman spent nearly 2 hours explaining all the new 'bells and whistles' to me and comparing this TV to others in the store. As a non-commissioned employee, he had no motivation to spend that much time with me other than to provide excellent customer service. Thanks Ben!! Kudos to the Geeks who came out to install it as well. Very friendly and professional crew. They went above and beyond on this install and took great care of me. I only have about 16 hours logged on this TV, but am loving it thus far!!

the picture almost seems 3D the colors are so vivid. amazing picture for the price. my second choice behind LG OLED, but a much better value at $1999 v $3999

I did a lot of research online before buying this TV. It was by far the best SUHD TV in the 65" class. Along with the discount it was also affordable and in line with other TV's. We definitely made the best choice. The image quality is unbelievable. There is perceptible depth in the image which makes watching this particular TV amazing. We have three other HD televisions from Samsung, which are great TV's but this one beats them all. We had it mounted on the wall and included a sound bar and 3D DVD player to it which just added to the overall picture and sound quality.

Did extensive research before purchasing with a great Black Friday price deal. It was between this and LG 55" OLED. The salesperson recommended I go with the 65" Samsung 8500 and it was great advice. The picture quality is outstanding and especially noticeable watching normal TV programming such as dramas. I never realized how good the quality of the sets were before buying this TV, especially so in night or darker lighted sceens. Color quality and picture detail are outstanding. No blurr watching sporting events either. Overall, a great, high quality viewing experience.

I'm amazed every day at how awesome this tv is. It was easy to set up and the controller is easy to use though it controls so many different functions.

The picture was fantastic. I was concerned that the upscaling would not be noticeable but was very impressed so far I am very happy with this product.

The only reason I knocked off a star is that the glass covering the screen is SUPER reflective. So much so that it makes it hard to watch TV if light is coming in from any window. It basically acts like a mirror. I can see everything behind me Unless... that is what they were going for TV-Mirror combo Wish there were more providers of video streaming services like CBS or TNT but all not that important since I use Hulu and Netflix. Just would have been nice I do find the Samsung sound bar doesn't always work. It seems like it connects but no sound pushes. I usually just cycle thru the inputs on the sound bar and it starts working. I haven't quite figured out if it is the sound bar or TV. Both my JS8500 65" and 55" do this Other than that this TV is fantastic. Hands down above the Sony I had previously purchased and returned.
