There are only 2 small nits to pick with this TV: (1) nowhere do they tell you that the connections don't go into the TV itself, but into an external box that is about 3"x8"x0.5" -- which, if you are trying to mount the TV on the wall, you have to mount somewhere behind the TV. My issue not that it exists, but that neither Samsung nor Best Buy warned me about this, nor were any help with making everything look nice, and (2) We have to be very careful to turn on the DISH receiver before turning on the TV. If we do not, the TV refuses to see the receiver until it is rebooted.

I did my research and decided to go with this TV. All professional reviews were great, but all of them were done earlier last year (I guess Samsung made some “improvement” since original reviews). As soon as the TV was delivered and turned on I saw significant light bleed in the lower left corner (and little bit less in the lower right corner). Everybody who saw this (including Best Buy TV guys) sad that this is not acceptable. I exchanged the same model three times with brand new TVs (thinking this was just bad TV out of the box) but with minimal improvements. I went back to three different stores (that have this model) and conformed that they all have this at the certain extent. None of the pictures taken during professional reviews had anything like this. I still see great reviews for this TV, which probably means I am more sensitive than others. It is hard to ignore this issue once you see it (and it should not happen at this price range). I will attach a picture so you can see it (it is hard to take a picture of the bright screen, but will give you an idea).

Replaced a Samsung 60" tv that had the audio running though my Samsung 4500 surround sound system. Hooked the new set in to it and could not get the sound from the TV to come out of the SSS even though it was hooked into the AVR HDMI. Spent over two hours on the phone with Samsung and was transferred to 6 different departments to be finally told I would have to buy an optical audio cable to make it work. Other than that the picture is amazing and was very easy to set up.

Moved up from a 55 inch Samsung to the 65inch . Compared the Sony to the Samsung just to do a fair comparison and found the Samsung continued to have the best picture. Love the contrast of deep black to the rich color. We will probably purchase a soundbar just to enhance the sound but certainly not a necessiy,. We kept watching the price and when we saw it $500 below, we jumped on it. Samsung 65" of this quality for $2000 was a no brainer. Would highly recommend it.

Love the size and color of this set. very thin and great tv but get a sound bar or sound system for best results.

Geat picture, super easy to setup. Can't wait to see some 4k content on it.

5 star picture quality, 4 star design issue, 10 star customer service experience. Setup was easy with the on screen prompts. My only problem was that I had not fully pushed in the cable from the TV to the One Connect box. Pleased with picture. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is a personal design preference - I would MUCH rather have a black frame instead of the reflective brushed metal. Two days after purchasing, Best Buy came out with a promotion for a free 28" or 32" Samsung TV with purchase of this TV. I went to customer service at the store and was very pleased with how JoAnn quickly took care of me and got the free TV. She could not have been more friendly and professional. Great customer service experience.

Excellent TV good price glad I went with the Samsung versus the Sony very clear picture great colors very crisp.

This television has the best picture we have ever seen. It is very easy to set up and it is very user friendly.

Even my husband who doesn't notice everything said he was impressed with the picture... The 3d I'm not to impressed with. Wish there was a better web browser so I could do a little cord cutting everything I want to watch says I need a flash player??? I'm able to watch them on my iPad with no flash player??? Sound is good using an older sound bar I will be updating next...

Awesome TV! I haven't bought a new TV in over 8 years and it was time for an upgrade. Got it when it was on sale, so it was a steal. Setup was incredibly easy, the remote is a minimalistic design (which I love) and the smart hub is so much more improved over the last Samsung Smart TV i purchased. Glad there's no camera mounted anymore. The picture quality is incredible, it's so very bright and the blacks are the sharpest I've seen on an LED TV. Great buy!

I was looking to replace my 2014 Samsung LED which had pixel issues. I used the protection plan I bought on it to purchase this tv. Got a huge upgrade to this 4k UHD LED since the TV was not repairable and discontinued. I will update in a few months to see if performance holds up with everyday use. Beautiful picture on showroom floor, hopefully it will be as nice at home.

This TV is perfect. Had all features I needed at a affordable price. Had to wait for a super sale but at the sale price it was perfect. I had the lower model 7100 series but returned it when this model was put on sale. Only complaint I have is it only came with one remote which is the wand style. It can be a few more point and clicks than the normal smart remote. Overall the picture quality is what is expected from Samsung and you will not disappointed.

Mini box makes it easy to hook up, one cable to put in back of tv all other connection plug into mini box. So later when I add a key board with touch pad I didn't,t have to take the tv off the wall to put usb blue tooth plug in. I had a sound bar added on so I can't comment on the sound of the tv. Watching a movie from a blue ray player is easy to it switches back and forth to what ever cable you are using . I would recommend this product to my friends.

This is a nice tv and the people at my Best Buy were awesome. My old tv was a plasma so I was a little worried going to LED but it's been pretty good. The first tv I think was the best one I had but it had a bit of light bleed on the top left side in half moon shape. Most people didn't really notice but I was afraid it would get worse so I got another. They delivered the 2nd a week later and the picture quality just wasn't as good. Even my wife noticed. I took it in and showed the "head" tv guy at Best Buy and he said he didn't know what it was but something was off. So that night I took home the 3rd. So far so good but I still think my first one had the best picture of the 3 minus the light bleed but this one is still good. I must warn you that all 3 out of the box were disappointing at first. There is a lot of tweaking that needs to be done to get it perfect but it's not that hard. Just google the settings. And I still make minor adjustments depending on what show or movie I watch. Also I thought the metal fram around it would bother me but it dose not. My wall is a light tan color and it blends right in. Maybe if u had a black wall it might bother you. My 2 negatives would be that it has a bad reflection you have to watch where you put your lights and the other negative is that you lose a lot of color when watching it from the side. It looks like there is a light fog over the screen. But it is a nice tv. I'm happy with it and all of my family and friends really liked it

I have been in the market for a new TV for a while, and through all of my research I was between this and the next model down - The two were not side by side in the store so it was hard to really get a comparison. The sales associate was really helpful and knowledgeable about the key differences in the screens. I decided to go ahead with the top end screen and have been sitting here mesmerized ever since. The picture is absolutely incredible - it is literally like people are sitting in my living room. Every detail and flaw and color looks better than reality. It was really easy to set up, the remote is taking some getting used to, and so far is not perfectly aligned with Xfinity setop box - but there are little work arounds to get to what I am looking for. I was considering getting the new Apple TV in November, but don't think I need it with this smart TV - I am even giving away my Amazon Firestick because everything I need is already in the TV - If you are in the market for a new TV and have the means, I 100% think you should get this...
