As someone coming from a Pioneer Kuro, I was a little apprehensive about a new TV. After doing a LOT of research and capitalizing on a Black Friday deal, I went with the 8500. It was mounted today and I couldn't be happier. The picture is incredible. It's extremely crisp and colorful. I cannot recommend enough!!

This is the best flat screen TV out this year that's not curved unless you want the top Sony which has ugly speakers on the side. If you like home theater you probably already have a sound system anyway.

This is a great T.V. I first had a 55 inch but, some pixels went out and my Geek squad protection kicked in. They no longer had my T.V. so they said I could pay the difference and upgrade. Went from 1080p to 4k and never looking back. Oh and word to the wise. Buy a screen protector to protect your investment.

Great TV for the price ! provides multiple options, stunning picture quality. Upconversion is good. Smart Remote is pretty handy. Main 2 complains are, a) regarding sound quality which is flat. I guess that expected for these types of TVs. b)Web browser can be certainly be improved. Navigation is very painful.

Was looking at 65 or 75 inch, but settled on this open box for under 1600. I was shocked as sale price on this unit was MORE than double what I paid. It is an absolutely beautiful tv and the picture is second to none. DO NOT hesitate to buy this tv if you have questions and concerns. It will not disappoint!!!

Replaced my plasma tv with this one. So far I am quite impressed with the picture. Having looked at numerous tvs I finally settled on this one due to price and picture quality. I think only the OLED tvs look better at this point but for almost 3k more it wasn't worth it. You can not go wrong with this one!

Bought this after trying out a 7000 series Samsung and an LG. This tv is significantly better than both of those...it is twice as expensive as the others but some things you have to stretch on and as much as this thing is on, this is probably a good choice for that. The Netflix intergration is excellent too.

It had a beautiful picture. However, I couldn't get past the motion blur. Especially for the price I was paying. 240 motion rate which is equivalent to 120 hertz is a step backward not forward. I returned it.

This tv ended my search for wonderous viewing. I originally bought a Samsung 6300. It was okay, kind of soft and fuzzy and the colors were sorta muted. Returned it for a Samsung 7100, immediately hated it, the picture looked worse than the 6500... rather than go back down I decided to try out the upper echelon 8500... quite a pretty penny but man oh man is it worth it... the colors are so vivid, the contrast is phenomenal. This set was really worth the investment and the smart remote is probably the best remote I've ever had and it's only got like 8 buttons! The speakers are lame so you definitely need to invest in a surround system or soundbar or something.

This TV has a great picture with detailed black areas and lots of contrast. I was upgrading from a 720P DLP TV but I never thought that the display would be so much better that it is truly striking.

We have really been enjoying our new 4K UHD TV - the color and clarity of picture is amazing, streaming 4K shows and playing video games - it all looks awesome. We got free home delivery after purchasing in store and there were no issues. We got a phone call when they were about to arrive so we were ready.

We mounted it about the fireplace in our living room. We don't have a sound bar. The picture and sound are great. We've used the Samsung app and can find items on our phone and then stream them to the TV. The remote is "smart" remote and very basic. You will need to use a smart phone to control the TV.

I have had th he opportunity to spend a good bit of time with a Sony and with Samsung 4k yes. This Samsung is absolutely brilliant. I didn't even spend anytime playing with the picture settings.

I love this tv. The picture is outstanding and the smart tv features are great. It's my first smart TV so I can't compare to the other smart TVs out there. Only complaint is the sound... Sometimes I have to really turn it up to hear.

The picture is great. The TV fits nicely above the fireplace mantle. Lightweight, flat to mount. Single remote with pointer. One remote instead of three for my dish network. Sound bar option.

Perfect size. Great picture. 3D is amazing. Bought this to replace a working Samsung 42" TV. Wife would not go back to smaller size. Makes watching TV and movies more of a pleasure. Probably don't need 3D, but this TV was on sale and I was pleasantly surprised how good the 3D looks after buying some 3D Blu-ray movies. Samsung is a great brand too. I would purchase again. Easy setup. Only comes with one pair of 3D glasses. Best price for another pair of 3D glasses was at Best Buy, and beat price at a well known mail-order company. TV was not in stock, so I ordered from BestBuy.com. It was delivered in 2 days with no problems and free delivery. Great service!

Love, love,love this tv! Husband & I got this as an early Christmas present to ourselves & couldn't be happier. The 3D picture is great, much better than I expected, but it only comes with 1 set of 3D glasses...wish there were at least 2...but other than that I have nothing but love for this tv!!

So far I'm loving it everything appears to be doing what it should. The picture is amazing I love the richness of color with each selection rather movies or video games so far I'd give it an A- only because some channels the motion is so slow I'm keeping an eye out that's one of my peeves slow down the image lose my attention. But working with the settings & I have to see what I can mix together to get that look! Overall much satisfied and happy yes I am a fan!!

This is my first Samsung Tv and could be any happier with my purchase,just an EXCELLENT Tv..see my pic..

After buying a set without doing my homework, I did some reading about this category and this Samsung had the best reviews on ratings.com They were right. I was also helped so much by Ed, my salesman, who patiently answered all of my questions. White glove delivery was the icing on the cake!
