EXCELLENT PICTURE MUCH BETTER THAN THE 80 INCH PROJECTOR TV WE HAD FOR 15 YEARS COULD NOT BELIEVE THE IMPORVMENTS . OUR ADULT SOND KEPT TELLING US TO DO AWAY WITH THE PROJECTOR BUT YOU KNOW WOLDER PEOPLE WE ARE HAPPY WITH WHAT WE HAVE AND DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE. OF COURSE WE STILL HAVE A LAND LINE.

This is an outstanding 4K TV and fantastic picture. The remote takes a bit to get used to. Some tinkering with the picture values will enhance the picture.

Best TV for the price! Well worth the money!!!! Choosing this TV is a no brainer. Picture looks sharp, detail and very colorful. Netflix and Youtube never looks this good!!! My family and I now spend Moore time to watch movies now. Reward yourself with this fantastic TV!!! I am glad I did!!!!

Did a fair amount of research before I decided on a new TV, and ended up with this one. Very happy with it... great picture, looks stylish hung on the wall, and very good apps. Really happy with my decision, and cannot wait to be able to view more 4k content on it when it becomes available.

I mounted this TV on the wall using a tilt mount which was recommended by the store employee. Not so sure that you need a tilt mount if you watch from a static location. Lessons learned were to make all connections, including the power cord before putting it on the wall. I did not have the power cord connected and had to take the TV back down. The picture is as advertised and I did a lot of research before dropping $2500.00 on a TV. I initially was not happy with the settings for viewing movies and also I was not willing to pay Geek Squad to calibrate the TV. I googled others who are much more adept at picture calibration and used their settings. Wow, the picture is great and I am amazed every time I watch a movie or regular programing. People have complained about the TV sound, but what do you expect for a panel that is so thin. I upgraded my receiver and am able to use the ARC HDMI input. If you have the resources, this is a great TV, if not then there are some other great choices available.

I'm really enjoying this Samsung 65JS8500 TV. I originally wanted another Sony & specifically the 65X900C (returned for severe flash lighting). Took a chance, changed directions & I couldn't be happier. Directv is wonderfully crisp & vibrant and Blu-Rays are absolutely gorgeous on this TV.

Replaced our previous Samsung TV with this new Samsung Smart TV that has a 4K display and LOVE it. Crystal clear picture. Connects to the internet and contains multiple aps. Easy to use. Remote that came with the tv takes the place of our dvr, dvd and sound system remote as well. Great purchase.

The only problem I've found with this product is trying to get away from it so I can get other things done! I did a lot of research & found this TV to be hands down the best for the money. With it being a smart TV & 3D there's so many ways to watch TV & the picture quality is fantastic!

We checked Consumer Reports first & we agree.. It is a great tv in all categories..Netflix is built-in...one less remote...Very user friendly..great picture from any angle. My sales reps were very helpful.. Great sale price..Geek Squad setup was easy.I wouldn't buy anywhere but Best Buy!

The JS8500 is a great television for the money.,it's pretty much the same as the JS9000 which is the curved version.The curved version is approximately 1000.00 more all features are the same except for the processor. Once you experience 4 k there is no going back it's simply bueatiful!

Great picture quality. I haven't been able to try out the 3D on it yet. Unfortunately it only comes with one pair of glasses. The provided HDMI hub makes it so you only need the power cord and 1 HDMI cord going to the TV, unless you still have yellow,red,white cords. Very happy so far.

This is an outstanding tv from Samsung. Picture is exceptional. Connected to AV receiver, so I have no comments on the tv sound. Extremely happy with this purchase so far. Have had excellent luck with Samsung tvs in the past. Looking forward to more UHD programming becoming available.

Stunning color. Since I haven't had the product over a month yet it would seem too soon for me to know if there's any problems. It was a bit of a challenge to set up the TV, the instructions are merely pictures with checks or exes. I was very disappointed that the year of Netflix promotion has already expired before I bought the TV having been promised Netflix for a year trial as part of the purchase. After being sent a registration number from Samsung, and two additional trips into the store, still seeing the TV screens in the building pushing the promotion, and the staff attempting to help. Obviously they were not aware or they wouldn't have spent so much time with me.

I purchased this TV on Black Friday and quality/picture/price was GREAT! TV is crystal clear and does not lag when watching fast motion pictures. This is the best purchase I have made since my last Sony TV purchase back in 2006. I do not regret purchasing this TV and you won't either!

Read reviews and was a little apprehensive. Positives: easy set up, great picture, connect one worked great, great price before superbowl. Negatives: low light scenes are pretty dark, remote doesn't work efficiently with AT&T U-verse receiver. Andrew at the Folsom store was awesome.

While the picture quality is pretty good for 65" screen, paying extra for Smart TV feature was a waste of money and paying extra for 3D glasses was silly too. Smart hub doesn't support some basic apps like SHOWTIME and EPIX... plus doesn't support some other apps that I had no problem to install on my previous Samsung smart TV... New SONY and other TV's lineup include Android TV, which is much more powerful for Smart features. Now I have to buy Roku or Google cast or something similar even though I paid extra for Smart Samsung. Otherwise the quality of this TV is very good. If you can buy it without paying extra for Smart features and the price is right... then it's worth to buy.

The TV is incredible. I considered a curved TV but ultimately decided to go with the flat JS8500. In addition, I had the TV installed by the Best Buy crew. Everything worked out perfectly and the TV is as good as advertised.

Had this tv for 2 mos, 10 vertical lines from day one. Samsung customer service suggested firmware update (didn't work#, repair tv #they called 3 different repair companies, the part was back-ordered), then sent my issue to the next level. Finally got notification they will replace this lemon, but will take an additional 14 business days to ship. Almost every call to customer service was agony, especially the "executive customer relations" department as my issue slowly moved from tech support to a higher level. Please google "Samsung 4K tv vertical lines" before buying Samsung products. This is a common issue.

First TV delivered had a faulty screen but the second one has been working well. Had to play around with screen settings for awhile to get a good picture but overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

After looking at several stores including the big box places, I settled on this television from Best Buy. Best Buy had this 8500 series TV for the same price COSTCO had the same size 6500 series. And Best Buy matches prices anyway. My daughter and I setup this TV in under one hour. Most of the time was spent unboxing and assembling the provided stand. The picture is awesome! We love the color and clarity of the picture. I tried it first with the built-in speakers and they were adequate. The optical sound output is amazing with our soundbar and woofer. At first I wasn't crazy about the connections box but now I am a believer. One connection goes to the TV and everything else connects to this external box which is easy to get to. All of the menus are easy to access and use. The web interface is great and we use it regularly for vudu, amazon and other web apps. Overall, we really love this product and haven't had a single regret about buying it.
