Besides being a fantastic TV with a outstanding picture, this TV is an entire new experience. Web capability with streaming brings another experience not available from watching TV in past years.. The set was easy to set up and operate. The 3D feature works great. It is important to have a strong WiFi signal to allow the set to function as designed.

I purchased this on sale before Black Friday to replace an old DLP HDTV. It was a good decision. The picture is outstanding. I'm one of the rare people who happens to like the "soap opera effect" as it makes the pictures appear almost 3-dimentional. There are four HDMI inputs via Samsung's proprietary One Connect Mini box which makes hooking up devices on-the-fly VERY easy since one doesn't have to move the HDTV to plug in an HDMI device. The box also contains 2 USB ports. The remote control is a bit unusual as it can be used like a laser pointer to access the HDTV's controls/smart tv functions. Setting it up to access WI-FI was very easily done using the remote. I did add a bluetooth keyboard/mousepad combo to it just to see how well it worked. Most apps work well with it-most because some apps didn't recognize the keyboard---NOT Samsung's fault; bad/lazy app programming! Since I'm using this with my surround sound system, I'm not using the HDTV's smart tv functions since I'm using the NVIDIA Shield to cover those functions---and the Shield is capable of streaming 4k to the HDTV natively. I've only seen 4k videos via the YouTube app and the videos are STUNNING! I'm really enjoying this HDTV so far!!

This TV has amazing picture quality and every capability possible, such as wifi and 3-D. The size of the picture was perfect and the same as the TV we had before, but with the stylish design it doesn't take near the space as our old TV. We are extremely satisfied with this TV!

This is my 3rd Samsung TV. This is my first smart, 3D TV. I liked it right out of the box. The picture is Great! I haven't used the 3D yet. I did view some 4K content on Netflix and it was awesome. The remote is different but I like it, it controls my cable box and set up was easy. I really like the pointer. All in all a great TV.

After initial setup I went straight to Youtube to check out 4K content, and it's AMAZING. Immediately noticeable and I sit 9 ft. away from the TV. I have good internet speeds so the streaming wasn't bad, the video stayed at 4K throughout. Screen mirroring works well with my cell, I viewed cell material on the TV. Connected my laptop with bluetooth, also worked very well, just a little lag. Regular cable programming looks regular. Popped in a 4K movie on the Samsung 4K player, GREAT picture. Regular Blu-ray does look upscaled. The pointer on the remote's pretty cool, definitely saves time. I was afraid the silver bezel wouldn't match my decor, but it works well. Can't wait to view more 4K content, wish there was more.

I deliberated between Sony and Samsung in making my decision regarding updating my home theater TV. I have for years been a Sony fan and recognized that Sony led the way in UHD TV development for the past ten years. However Samsung, much like the rivalry between Apple iPhones and Android phones, has developed outstanding UHD Smart TVs with an array of user friendly popular apps and optional appliances for their users. Sony is lagging behind and coasting on its reputation of excellence to market their products, in some case for higher prices. Samsung is breaking out and I felt the choice I made with this SUHD 3-4K, 3D capable represents the latest technology for the best price/features available on the current market.

This TV is amazing. Excellent picture thanks to the upscaling. Can clearly see a difference between this TV and the vizio m series 4k that I returned. The 3d is amazing as well. Catch it on sale as it is quite expensive but the price is worth it. If you can do so, buy this TV. You won't be disappointed.

I looked at a number of TVs before choosing this Samsung. I got it adjusted to my liking and my viewing environment, and I'm very happy with the picture quality. It's got a lot of great features, such as HDR support, HDMI 2 and HDCP 2.2 support, as well as the One-connect mini. I have the TV connected to a 4K supporting DirecTV box, a new Denon receiver and a Blu-Ray player. I am impressed with how great programming from various sources look, even when they are not 4K sources. The upscaling works nicely, and the improvement over my year old 1080p television, even with the same content/source, is quite noticeable. I did have an issue with the remote that came with the TV, but Samsung quickly took care of sending me a new one. I cannot hold the remote issue against the TV, of course, and am pleased at Samsung's response.

So, I got this TV finally yesterday! It was nearly impossible to get my hands on! However, totally worth the wait! When you turn it on with basic settings, it looks really grainy. I am very familiar with home theater equipment and I would definitely recommend getting this thing calibrated by a professional with the right equipment! Overall: 3/5 at out of box settings; Calibrated: 5/5 without question!
And yes, this is a pic of the TV after calibration!

This TV is great! Big enough, very clear HD picture, and easy to use with all the smart apps. Also, one thing that made this tv stand out from the others was how sleek and modern it looks with the stainless steel borders and that it's very slim, fitting very close to the wall like a picture frame.

The set up was easy. The universal remote easily picked up my Sony theater system and Comcast box. The visual display was a great improvement to my 1080 Samsung. The upscaling made old shows look awesome. I have tried two PS4 games and I am very happy with the movement and graphics.

We have had a Samsung led smart tv before, but this model surpasses all expectations. The picture is incredible, the tv is easy to set up and use, the remote is smaller and easy to use, the tv apps are more convenient, and the smart hub is more convenient. Way to go Samsung!

This has a GREAT picture! But 10 minutes after it was installed (by Geek Squad) the TV kept shutting off & on all by itself. It would flick to a black screen so quickly (in the middle of a show) and did so about 3 times in a minute (I pulled my phone out & got it on video). I then called Geek Sqd & was on the phone for 30-40 minutes. The girl said OH that's a known issues - I said, why didn't they tell me when I purchased this 5 days ago?? Then she backtracked & said it just happened a few days ago. Then we got disconnected (my fault not hers) & I got someone else who did NOT know about this 'known' issue & he remoted in & reset it to factory settings telling me it had updates - which made NO sense whatsoever since the installer just set it up & was only gone for 10 minutes! The my remote control didn't work after we did this & he kept insisting that it had nothing to do with the reset when in fact it did since I told him it took the installer some time to get the remote to work. So I had to deal with that.
I still have occasional issues with it shutting off/on but it appears mainly (but not 100%) when we're watching DVR or On Demand & you have to go back to catch the part you missed when it shut off. Otherwise, it's a great TV!

This is my second Samsung TV and once again I am super impressed. I decided to pull the trigger and go all out on the SUHD TV. I must say that I was glad that I did. The clarity is as if you were standing right there in the room with the people on the screen. Besides that, set up was super easy. Basically, just plug and play. I was all ready to use my Logitech remote, but the Geek Squad guy convinced me to try the new Samsung remote and I absolutely love it. Good-buy Logitech. I have had the TV for a week and no problems noticed. I look forward to purchasing my next Samsung.

Got the TV during Black Friday week at a great price. Very impressed with its appearance, color, and level of detail. Can't say I notice a HUGE difference between Samsung's UHD and SUHD (I had purchased a curved UHD unit before returning it for this one) - but there seems to be at least a small difference (more vivid colors for sure).
By the way, I had a curved Samsung UHD 65" TV for a couple weeks (before returning it since there were dead pixels) -- curve is cool, but it adds nothing to the picture/TV viewing experience. It's just aesthetics. No need to spend extra money for a curved screen...
Not a fan of Samsung's operating system on their Smart TVs. Pain to figure out, had a lot of trouble trying to get the TV to cooperate w/ LG sound bar, and the remote isn't totally user friendly (easy to hit wrong buttons).
Anyway, I do like this TV a lot overall, would recommend to others.

Just picked this up a few days ago after a friend of mine that knows I've been looking for a new TV mentioned this one. This TV is part of BBs Black Friday Promos and its $1,300.00 off the normal pricing right now!
I took it home, set it up and the only problem I had with it was the remote would power on the TV but it wouldn't do anything else. Come to find out it wasn't pairing with the TV and no where in the user guide did it say "if this happens do x" so I was kind of miffed that I needed to search the internet for a problem that should of been in the instructions. Anyway, I paired the remote and all is well.
I knew about the breakout box and this wasn't a big deal for me one way or the other since I only connect one HDMI cable from my receiver anyway... I'm not sure why so many reviewers are bent out of shape about it. Honestly if anything, it makes your life easier if you need to connect anything else to the TV. If you need to you can without moving the TV!
It goes without saying, but the picture is stellar! I replaced an eight year old (+/-?) 47" Vizio that is still chugging along with my son now but there is no comparison. The blacks are ink black, the colors are vibrant and 4k streaming from YouTube (From my Xbox One not the app in the TV) was breathtaking. I've actually not tried any of the TV apps yet since all that is already in my Xbox One so I doubt I will.
Oh, and it has 3D if you're into that kind of stuff. I didn't know it had it until I got it out of the box and I've not tried it out yet.
Overall, if you're looking for a new TV in the $2k price range now is the time to buy THIS TV!

This is a great TV. The image and color are incredible. When you watch this TV, you feel like your at a movie theater. The remote is unique, it is not overcome with buttons. The pointer concept is easy to use. Operating the TV is intuitive. The only hangup is Samsung removed the channel guide capability, requiring that two remotes are now needed to operate this TV (thus 4 stars vs 5).

SUHD TVs are higher in price for the same size and 4k HD. However, after looking at this display, I was convinced this is the closest to the OLED LG TVs of today. I chose this TV and the Samsung brand name because I think Samsung makes one of the best TVs on the market today. After setup, I was amazed by streaming True Blood and Walking Dead from Amazon. I have not watched 4k HD Blu-ray yet or 3D but if streaming looks this good, then the quality in Blu-ray should be that much better. One thing is the one media connect mini that you need to connect HDMI. I saw it on the reviews and I don't really like the idea of having another box to connect devices. Sound is terrific for a very slim TV as it has front speakers and woofers as well. I bought the 5 year GSP because this is a TV that I plan on watching for the next 5 years.

This product has delivered on every level. Picture is incredible. The sound is good though I opted to purchase a sound bar with sub woofer to increase the cinematic experience. Set up was easy just have a second person to help with mounting. I have direct wired the Ethernet which eliminated any challenges with going wireless. Do your homework with cables. While usage of highly insulated cables may be a used in some cases I opted for the cable company supplied and middle of the road brand and they work with no degradation. The only thing I would change with the tv is the time it takes for the channels to change while using the cable box. They have an option on settings for this yet I have not noticed any difference. Overall a solid performer with incredible clarity on the HD channels as well as movies.
