I saw this TV in the store and the picture was just fabulous! I know that quite often the video presentation you see in the store is not what you actually get when watching standard HDTV. However, this picture looks every bit as good in my home setting watching movies, sports and HDTV as it did in the store! The only reason I did not rate it a 5 star review is because it's in the process of being exchanged for another unit because of a glitch that results in a millisecond screen freeze that just drives you crazy when you keep seeing it happen every few seconds. Also, at times the picture is fuzzy around the edge of the screen if you are any closer than about 6 feet. I hope this part of the problem doesn't occur with the new replacement either. All of the available features are great even though I have not set them up due to the return. It actually appears that you are looking thru the screen at the live action as if it were right outside your window! Fantastic!!

Purchase TV on pre black friday sale and I'm absolutely loving it! the price was a bit more on what I wanted to spend for 65" but for $400 more I got this beauty of a TV. Great picture, high def., lively colors and at 240 bit rate smooth live action real life like frame by frame picture , is not perfect but pretty close to be. PS4 games look simply amazing, been playing star wars battlefront on it and is just plain beautiful. Love the menus and remote with mouse like pointing on the screen to select option makes it user friendly. If you can't afford Sony this Samsung will leave you more than satisfied!

Picture is wonderful straight on and within a +/- 20 degree viewing angle. Wider than that, the picture begins to degrade (unlike LG's IPS displays). Definitely some cloudiness instead of the perfect black some other TVs can achieve (OLEDs). The smart TV options are easy to use and navigate through. Sound system on the TV is definitely not up to par with the highest tier TVs. I have to set the volume to 85% or higher for it to decently fill my great room (24 x 16). Definitely consider getting a sound bar or home theater system if you plan on placing this in a large room. Excellent TV for movies and gaming. 4K content looks incredible (i.e. House of Cards on Netflix). Came across a minor leveling issue. TV was about 0.5-1 degree off level while sitting in its stand (which was leveled perfectly). Must be some manufacturing issue. Nothing drastic but I've heard about this issue before in other reviews of Samsung TVs. Overall, it's a great TV if you can get it for a good deal (i purchased mine for 1,999.99 during black Friday sales).

I would have preferred a backlit model with local dimming but the additional features an upgrade to this model offered and at a discounted price were too good to pass up. I still see a little judder from time to time but very little if any motion blur. Black is very good. Up scaling of HD 1080p signals seems very good too but will not produce as good of a picture as a true 4K source like we saw in the showroom did.

I decided to buy this tv after reading the reviews on many in this price range. But the stores were all out so I got the sony XBR65X850C it was returned the next day didn't like the picture at all wasn't any better then the rear projection I was upgrading from. So a week later this tv became available and I bought it. This tv is amazing, awesome picture blue rays look even better and the 3D is pretty amazing. You will have to change the picture to not have that soap opera effect but once you do the picture is amazing. Definitely recommend getting this tv.

Great picture, easy to use especially with the new remote, fast when logging onto Netflix etc. Thin clean design. I would recommend this product.

we find this television has a much clearer picture and the colors are really great, also very easy to operate, very happy with this television.

When it comes to a QUALITY Television, you just can not beat SAMSUNG," WOW" !!! When I was watching the NFL playoff games, I was TOTALLY impressed with the clarity such as the blades of grass on the field or the close up of player helmets and uniform, not to mention the Excellent COLOR. In a nut shell, its a Hugh WOW !!! Also watching the first Blue Ray movie on this TV Totally BLEW me away, it was better then the movie theater ! Buy this Television, you could not make a better investment. P.S.( In my opinion, its the best TV on the market.)

Once I adjusted the pictue, I was very pleased. Picture was fantastic. The online users manual or the onscreen manual leave a lot to be desired for the non-computer literate. Some terminology was not defined so I really got lost on setting up set. Was unaware I was going to have to junk my old cd and vcr player in order to connect similar devices or spend a lot of money for additional adapters. Totally unaware that this new expensive TV would not accomidate RCA plugs. Samsung should have made an on screen video or one on computer so it could walk you through all the things you can do with the TV step by step. I had to go spend additional money for a remote that would allow me to control everything with a single remote. My 8 year old TV that I just replaced had a better remote than the Samsung. The Samsung would not turn my receiver on or off and if I wanted to control the sound from the amp, I would have to change the input; but if I did that, then I couldn't change the channel; conversely if I wanted to change the channel, I couldn't change the sound without changing the input. Voice cammand on the remote was a nice touch but has very limited commands. Too bad it couldn't be set up to learn additional commands. For the price of the TV, I would have expected a more intuitive set of insturctions and a much better remote.

After much research, we selected the Samsung television. The picture quality and color are the best we've ever seen and the 3D is great!

I had been looking for a 4K TV for a long time. I was ready to upgrade my 52 inch Samsung which I've had for eight years with absolutely no problems. The Best Buy associates were very helpful in giving me the pros and cons of this TV. I did a great deal of research as well - I could not be more pleased with the options, color and features this television offers. The blacks absolutely pop!! Also, two price matches over the 30 day period saved me over $1000. My coworker bought the 55 inch model of the same TV today.

Great picture. TV is very easy to set up. I also like the remote and the way the pointer works. Menu and APPS are also very simple.

I love this tv. Every top brand 4k tv looks great with high end content but this Samsung handles everything beautifully. The upscaling is outstanding and makes all basic hd viewing much more enjoyable. Gaming looks gorgeous and had very minimal lag when using the game mode. Colors are eye popping, action is silky smooth, and details are crisp. Simply put, you can not beat this tv without paying at least double the price and even then it can't be much better. Buy this if it is even remotely in your price range!

I'm a plasma TV fan and was very hesitant to purchase anything else, worrying that the deep blacks would not be replicated. I will have to say that I'm impressed with this TV. The right price for the quality that you get. Very easy setup, user friendly remote, great refresh rate and picture quality. I use the TV for online gaming as well and have found no issues with refresh rates. Happy that I purchased the TV.

The gods shined down on the picture quality on this machine, good up Scaling, upscales everything to 3D, but a little trouble with lip syncing issues only reason it's 4 stars. Just takes a little bit of tweaking. T n A in 3D!!!

Would have given 5 starts for the TV but it failed less than 60 days after purchase. The screen developed a very strange double image that was unwatchable. It was still under the manufacture's warranty and within a week Samsung came to our home and replaced the main board which fixed the problem. The TV itself is great, watching anything in 4K is awesome. The smart features of the TV are nice and my only critiques would be the slightly awkward remote control and poor viewing at any angle. Sitting directly in front of the TV is great, but the picture quickly fades if you move off center. Other than the initial fail we're very happy with the purchase.

I get sooo many compliments on this tv. Everything about it looks fantastic. We’ve used the 3D function and we also stream 4K and watch 4K Blu-rays on this. Picture quality is amazing and it has a great refresh rate so action scenes look exteenely crisp. Such a great purchase. I got this right as the next year’s TVs we’re coming so it was a great deal. I tracked down the last one in the state and ran out to get it that day. Well worth it

Everything about the tv is great, sound is fantastic for a tv samsung has come a long way in this area, picture with 4k looks awesome, 3d is great as well. Only downside is 1 pair of 3d glasses came with the tv, extras are cheap, $20, but when you spend $3k on a tv you thonk at least 2 pairs would come with the tv.

What i like about this tv, scary good picture. Upscale effects are incredible. Blacks are black. What i don't like, its so black we get a lot of reflection of lights ect, sound is so so. Most frustrating is if i run my direct tv thru my amp then to the box after 15 minutes the picture starts to flash and will go out for a second. I have not contacted Samsung yet, hope that they have a solution.

This TV was purchased for my Mother. I found it very easy to set up. The picture quality was even better than the Samsung 4k set I purchased for myself a year ago. My Mother was very pleased with the results since her 12 year old plasma set was ancient tech with 720p for max resolution and no network connections.
