I wanted to wait for a while before I told anybody about this tv. It is absolutely amazing. Everything from the remote to the one connect box is top notch. Who knew you could watch regular channel in 3D. The picture is stunning right out of the box. No more maneuvering behind the tv for connections the one connect box sits beside the tv and if you need to upgrade anything just unplug the box and take it with you. It's the best money I've spent in Best Buy ever.

First off, this TV is amazing. Design wise, it's beautiful. Slim bezels, super thin and it looks perfect on the wall. It's light and easy to hang. I had no issues setting up Wifi, and the autoscan feature worked great with my Digital antenna. The only quirks I've faced are that the TV turns itself on randomly when my Roku gets an update and I'm not a huge fan of the external HDMI Connect box - though it does come in handy for someone using a surround sound receiver.

I bought this tv for the Super Bowl. It's the best decision I have ever made. It's crystal clear and objects pop right out at you with the color. I was unsure about going this big, but the tv completes the room. I have not watched anything in 3D yet, but it's just a bonus to the Tv. It already has so much to offer. Cant go wrong with this purchase, Im satisfied for awhile. The best part is... 4K is just getting started, so when it booms you'll be ready.

This review is for the Samsung UN65JS8000. This tv is nothing but amazing. I considered getting the pricier JS9000 model that has a curve but with all the windows in my living room decided not to due to all the glare issues. This tv barely picks up any glare since it is flat. The picture quality is amazing. There are a bit of motion blurriness i notice sometimes but it is few and far between. I am very Happy with this product.

Extremely clear picture. Easy to operate. When compared side by side to my Visio (next room) the picture difference is unmistakable. Sound quality is excellent but is certainly enhanced by a Samsung sound bar. We have watched regular TV, movies and DVD with a great picture on all. However, when watching sports the picture (particularly in HD) is unbelievable. My house is now the place to watch the game.

Amazing picture and easy to use. Refresh rate is incredible and colors are exceptional.

This television has wonderful picture and the 3D is really good, better than the movie theater. Apps are ok, but the smarthub sometimes doesn't work right, then it will work again. All in all I am very happy with the tv.

I noticed the build quality right away. The corners did not line up and were warped. There is a bright spot on the bottom corner of the screen. Sucks that you have to buy an expensive hdmi cable to use it. Picture quality is good. Haven't been able to get it to display model standard, even watching 4k content on Netflix. Bought this for black Friday.

So I tried the Samsung UN65JU6500, the UN65JU7090, the Vizio D Series, and an LG model. Overall, the Samsungs had the best picture and the smoothest interface. This television, in particular, has the best picture. It should, since it cost the most. I got it at $2k, so I feel like I got it at it's lowest point. That helps. Not much to say that hasn't been said. Blue Ray's look great. Direct TV looks great! The upscaling is much better than the Vizio. The Vizio picture wasn't too bad. The LG was terrible. The smart remote grows on you. Gaming looks good, so far. I have only had the tv 30 days, but I am very satisfied. I used a combination of Rtings and Consumer Reports' settings.

While it is, admittedly, a bit pricey, this set is truly an amazing TV. It's as future-proof as anything out there today (moreso than even some other brands' '15 models). The picture is spectacular, especially when watching some of the HDR 4k content found on the M-Go app that's built in. Netflix 4k streaming is smooth and crisp. I'm even using the built-in RVU client for DirecTV 4k content! So far, I've done a 'rough' calibration, using a Spyder 4 colorimeter, and the PQ is excellent afterwards. I may try to get into grayscale and individual color points at a later date...the controls are readily available, rather than buried in a service menu. All in all, if you can spend the extra dosh, it's worth every cent! I'd have liked to have the FALD array of the 9500, but I loathe the curved screen fad, and this is as good as it gets in flat panels today.

The size of the screen makes you feel like you are actually at a game. Watched the women's world cup and the motion was perfect no lagging and the sharpness of the picture is outstanding. Very easy to set up with a connection to wireless internet.

Our recent purchase of a Samsung 65 inch SUHD television and the Geek Squad installation from Best Buy was a superior experience. We researched various televisions and pricing from numerous retailers before making this purchase and found Best Buy to have the best selection of televisions with very competitive pricing. Best Buy honored their price guarantee with courtesy and without question when the television we purchased went on a deeper sale a week after we purchased it. What we appreciated most of all about this purchase was the analysis of our existing equipment by the Geek Squad before our purchase and their subsequent installation of the equipment. The two gentlemen who analyzed and then installed the television, sound equipment, and programmed our Harmony remote were polite, well informed about the product and installation requirements, and patient with us as they explained how everything worked. Additionally, they cleaned up everything after they were done with the installation (they even vacuumed!). We are extremely happy with our Samsung purchase and installation from Best Buy in Santa Maria. The television is everything we expected and more. The picture is extremely clear and we finally have great sound from our surround sound system with the Yamaha receiver we also purchased from Best Buy.

I ordered this TV even though I know that some had defective panels. Luckily ours is perfect as far as we can see! I almost returned it after a week because it went on sale & the weekend customer support guy told me it didn't qualify for price matching, for a number of reasons which all were made up on his part. After 3 phone calls that was sorted out & we could enjoy our TV. It only comes with one pair of 3D glasses, which is annoying. And the battery in those glasses was almost dead. The remote is awful but we use a Harmony so that's not really an issue. The bezel is silver, which stands out, even in a dimly lit room, but hopefully we'll get used to that. If you buy this TV check it out very carefully during the exchange period as there are many reports of defects in the panel. I ordered online, which is a good thing because we saw the display model in our local store when we went to get more 3D glasses and it was awful! You expect a display to be better than what you'd see at home, but this one had thick blue stripes on each vertical edge. I never would have bought this TV if I'd seen it in the store first, but we got lucky to get a good one! I'd recommend this TV but just be careful to examine it carefully when you get it .and only buy from a retailer with a good exchange/return policy.

Once I unpacked and setup the TV, I was amazed at the quality of the picture and the realistic colors. I was also overjoyed at how easy the setup was. Even though there are not many 4K UHD, I have seen an improvement in the quality of pictures on the HD channels I watch. All in all, I am very satisfied with the product and the price I paid at my Best Buy store.

I bought this TV after doing a lot of investigating and research, including looking at it on Consumer Reports. It was a great TV, but within one or two weeks I saw the exact TV on a newspaper Best Buy insert but it had a different model number. Upon further investigation,I learned the "8500" model was edge lit while the "7100" model had a full array lighting system. All that means that the TV i bought was not quite as good as the newer model, which has a noticeably better image. Both were the same price. I won't to Customer Service, showed them to examples where the newer TV was listed st the same price and requested the newer TV. No problems. The older TV was fine but why not get the newer version with a superior picture for the same price? Most people would never notice the difference, but I knew the full array system provides better overall picture quality. I'm happy with the new TV but then again I was happy with the old one also. Be cautious you're not buying an outdated version or one that's been replaced with a newer one by doing some comparison shopping on the internet before you buy these big ticket items. Either model would get a 5 rating from me and most others. If you can get the older model delivered for less than $2199 km due you'll be happy with it as well.

I researched for about a month on 4K televisions. Best Buy had a great sale last month on all 4K televisions. I already have 3 Samsung televisions (65" LED 3D, 46" LCD, 32" LCD). I wanted either a 9000 or 8500 model with 3D. Now that I have the 8500 in my home... WOW!!! This television has a very sharp detailed picture (with 4K programming) , but this set also upscales non 4K sources to near 4K quality. It's like watching television for the first time!!! My twin 6 year old girls really love this television to where they want to watch everything on it!!! I'm just waiting on Dish Network to supply more 4K channels. I also like the option of 4 different shows on the screen at the same time (it will be used a lot during football season). Easy setup, menus & options. I got a great deal on the price!!!

the picture quality is good but performance as far as the smart tv sucks the tv constantly freezes and the apps crashes i have to keep on unplugging it tizen is uncooked if u want smart tv for the smart features get a lg with webos 2.0
