Made the hard decision to buy the curved screen for more money than the flat screen. Best decision ever. We are nothing but pleased with the performance, picture, color, etc. Well worth the price.

I love the crisp picture. It changes how everything appears, even the news programs. My kids enjoy viewing photos and videos using Air Play on their iPhone. The photos and videos are shown in 4K on the TV and are spectacular. I haven't mastered the hand motion commands or the voice control yet. In fact, the tv sometimes mistakes the sound bar as a voice command and tells me it doesn't understand the command. I think I have to sit closer to the tv to make either of them work. I have tried some 3D with the Samsung apps, but so far the 3D experience is not terrific. Maybe if I had Blu-Ray it would be better.

I really like this TV a lot although there are not a lot of 4k content out there to fully enjoy it. But the smart feature alone in it make me want to wacth the TV over and over again. It is amazing. I haven't checked all the features yet but i'm delighted with the few i've tried so far. It is a little bit pricey but it is worth it.

Such a nice tv, big and lots of options. I enjoy watching tv, 4K movies, Netflix, and playing the Xbox. I like the internet connectivity along with the hands free options. I had it delivered as most stores don't carry it, which was like the next day. I mounted it myself, very easy. The stand option does not allow turning or any motion, so if you want to turn the tv, mounting is a must. If you get it, you will not be disappointed. :)

I went into buying a 65" TV without all the facts, the salesperson helped direct me to a TV that was much better than my wife and I had first picked out. I didn't realize how many model levels Samsung TV's offered, our purchase of the 9500 series was by far the best we could have ever hoped for the picture is amazing. We also opted for a 5 year Geek Squad Warrantee which gives us comfort that we will have a great TV for years to come. I also didn't think at first about the sound quality of Flat screen TV's since they don't have room for large speakers. The 9500 series Samsung has an upgraded Sound which means we don't need the sound bar option which would cost more and take up more space on our stand.

With the exception of at least for sure 4 simple things I wish it could do, and should do, and I wish it did, cause I was specifically told it would, prior to purchase which I was surly disappointed with a lot, especially with were technology is today, the 9500 series is a great, way over priced TV!
But,,,, it's a really nice TV.
Here's the thing,,, Best Buy only had a 15 day return policy unless your an "Elite Member" 15 days on a 5400.00 dollar with tax, TV, really? Now of course after my first purchase ever with Best Buy was a $5400.00 I became an elite member that I was notified of 45 days later. And thee e-mail came to me with my account number, my purchase, under some lady's name, which to me anothe month after the fact to finally succeed in getting them to correct it. Yikes!! But really $5400.00 15 days??? It dam near takes you 3 months to figure out the TV, and then your still learning months later,,,,new cell phone owners can relate, I'm sure, says the guy that is not a super tech that had never owned a 2015 4k smart TV. Okay and then there's the Geek Squad.
I'm not rich! Get it?? I don't have 180 bucks for someone to teach me how to turn on a TV. Rhetorically speaking of course!
Point is darnit,,,, know what you want out of your TV before you buy it.
Benicio.

The TV is amazing! It has all the bells and whistles and mounts to the same mounting bracket I had from the last Samsung TV I had. There are so many things this TV can do I have yet to use them all. You can view the picture from just about any angle and still get a good picture. The curved screen displays deep blacks and vivid colors.
The PROS: It has the ability to stream movies or TV shows from a variety of apps, as well as 3D capabilities. You can use the TV remote with other equipment. Use commands by voice and motion. The TV has a box (what I like to call the TV's brain) that can be changed out when new technology comes out for up to 4 years from now. No more having to keep purchasing new TV's when the new one comes out. Thanks Samsung from looking out for the consumer. it's capability of sending sound from your apps (Netflix's, Hulu, etc.) back to your receiver via the HDMI cable (ARC-Audio Return Channel) as long as you have compatible equipment. If not, it has the optical out that can do the same thing.
The CONS: Price!!! This TV was not cheap (but for what it does its was well worth it). If you are running your equipment to the TV via a receiver from all your other equipment, make sure it incorporates an advanced video section that features the latest HDMI 2.0a specifications, including support for 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz full rate video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling and 21:9 video pass-through, along with support for 3D content. For compatibility with 4K Ultra HD copy-protected content, that also features HDCP 2.2 support. I found that without this you are not going to get the best picture this TV can give you. Its like choking the signal. I found this out real fast. I had to purchase more equipment, this why its in the con section.
Overall, I would purchase this TV again.

Now that I've owned this TV for a couple of weeks, I can honestly say that I still love it. The picture is outstanding. If you can afford the bigger size, get it, because, although this TV is the same size as my old one, the extra detail makes it seem small somehow. The higher the def of the TV, the more immersive the experience can be. The 3D works great, although the glasses go through batteries really fast, and the TV only comes with one pair. So, it would be wise to invest in some rechargeable ones.
For some reason, the TV does not detect my AV-Receiver the way it should, so I have to manually set it to use the receiver every time I turn everything on. I don't know if that is the TVs fault or the receiver's fault. If I turn the receiver off and on a time or two, the TV eventually detects it and starts to use it rather than its own internal speakers.
The wi-fi is amazing. When I stream youtube on my ipad in the same room, it will occasionally buffer even with regular def (low def) material. This TV, though, streams UHD content without ever buffering. I am absolutely amazed by it.

Best picture I've ever had in a TV. Out of the box settings were just about as good as those suggested on line.Settings were easy to adjust with the remote but the voice command does not work too well and I turned it off. The curve does not take away from the picture as I read in some reviews, in fact I like it a lot. My wife is not sure it was worth the money but even she admits that the picture is much better than our older Samsung. For me it was worth every penney .......what a TV !!!

Ok first, you have to get over the idea of spending 4K on this 4K tv. Lol. Seriously, I saw this tv when it came out and was 7000. I dreamed of owning it then. I'm happy to have originally paid 4500. It at 65" is not overpowering in a smaller room at all. I'm probably sitting at most 12 feet away from it. I have it mounted on a sanus vf534 mount which can come off the wall 34". So with that, it just gets immersive like an 4K ultra screen movie theater. Having just seen Spectre, I can tell you it feels as similar as you can get, without dropping 3 million on your own movie theater. So many people mention the sound being an issue. I tend to agree. I got the magnolia matching 7500 series sound bar which make this whole experience come alive, just like the movies. It's amazing. I'm loving the tech remote that is seamless and super functional with most all my equipment. I like the voice control and the hands free options. It is an amazing picture, I'm glad my girlfriend said she liked the curved more than the flat, price not being a consideration at that point. So let's talk deal, hence my title. Let's just say it doesn't say Best Buy on the building for no reason. I got the tv, the best marching magnolia sound bar, the 3D 4K up converting bluray player, a optical cable, 2 wd cinema hard drives, with a 2 year tv warranty and felt amazed with the deal. This was only sweetened with the 12% back in reward money, and a subsequent price drop of 500 a few weeks later. I paid it off in full and felt happy to have spent the money given the value and absolute gem of a set up I now own. One more thing, the downloadable 4K movies are amazing, albeit very pricey @ $30 a piece. You must maintain an Internet connection to watch them, even if you buy them, and they only will play on this tv. They do allow you to add in all your ultraviolet movies, and most of them will play from their server too, which is nice.

I researched this TV for a month before I bought it. I could not find picture and color combination anywhere that was better. I was a little hesitant about the price. However the OLED tvs were more expensive and no real difference in clarity and color brightness. I am absolutely glad I made the purchase. All the feature are great. I'm still learning some of them, as I have only had the tv a little over a week.

This TV is great as a TV (picture color and contrast), however the apps are a disappointment. Youtube hangs up at times and sometimes rebooting the TV doesn't fix the problem, and Amazon prime does the same sometimes when ending watching a program before the program is over. Apparently there is no Adobe Flash player as pdf documents (restaurant menus) are not displayed. Voice commands are just so-so and a web search by voice is weak.
As I said Still a great TV and I expect the Apps to get better in time.

Clarity is awesome. Even regular TV shows like Star Trek comes out fuzzy on my 1080 are sharper and more defined on this TV. Be careful with the energy saving mode on the TV. When it gets dark in the room the color fades, you can turn that fading off. I guess it is part of energy saving mode. Once you turn that dimming mode off, the colors remain consistently clear and crisp. I don't like to watch this TV and then switch to my 1080p TV because I don't like to switch from this 4K Samsung to my 1080 plasma. This only happens when I am getting ready for bed and want to continue watching a TV show in my bedroom. You notice a big difference between the color and clarity between the 1080 and 4K. I use to not like the 65 inch screens with 1080 but this 4K in this samsung pretty much eliminates that problem and I can stand close to the TV and still see detail on a 4k movie and most regularly streamed HD cable shows. It seems to eliminate the fuzz on a lot of shows before 4K which my 1080 seemed to never do well. It gets a big thumbs up from me. If this is where the future is headed, it is an awesome direction.

I replaced my excellent Pioneer Kuro 60” plasma with this panel. We also have the LG 55EC9300 OLED and a Samsung F8500 plasma in our home. The Pioneer was in my home theater and I was looking for a larger screen, higher res, 3D etc. In other I words the upgrade bug had bitten me.
I agonized/researched/read forum threads/read pro reviews, etc., for quite a while. The JS9500 slays the OLED in vibrancy/image punch. I am still scrutinizing dark scenes for clouding, bleed, flashlighting, etc. - haven't seen 'em yet. There's some bloom in there, sure - not a deal breaker. Black level is very impressive with a good signal. The multi-zone full array backlighting is impressive and I like the idea of the one connect box for future upgrading. Off angle, yes, you will sigh a lot (if only they could solve this one thing this would be a slam dunk).
While certainly not inexpensive, for me it was about getting the best image quality, highest tech, biggest screen possible for less than the 65” OLED and I have no regrets.

The quality of the picture is amazing. The 3D effects are great as well. The 3D glasses go through batteries really fast, but the batteries are cheap, and we only watch 3D now and then.
What amazed me the most is how good the wi-fi is. I have very high speed internet, but the TV room is kind of far from the router. When I'm in that room, I will occasionally get buffering with HD video on my ipad, and my BluRay player was often not able to stream HD content without pauses. But this TV streams ultra HD instantly and without any buffering or pauses. I was both shocked and impressed by this.
If I had another $5K, I would have purchased the next size up. As the quality of the TV improves, the bigger TVs give a better sense of immersion.

Absolutely amazing picture right out of the box. Watched Underworld in HD on cable and my mouth dropped at the black levels. Regular tv channels (if filmed well and in last 5-10 years) upscale beautifully. Counting minutes until I can test a PS4 on it. I opted for a Sonos sound bar, so I cannot speak to the speaker audio quality, but if your forking out nearly $5K for a tv, you shouldn't cheap out on the audio anyway. This image deserves sound to match. Power cord is short, but easily remedied with a simple extension cord. That's as close to a complaint as I can get. Most expensive (non-automobile) toy I ever bought myself and I have absolutely zero regrets.

We love our new curved screen Samsung TV. It doesn't matter if we are watching sports or movies, the picture is amazing. The viewing angle is a big improvement over our older model. We also bought the new curved soundbar to go with it and that make movies more like a theater. Yes, it is expensive but it is a luxury that could not give up now.
