What can I say, it's the first new TV I've bought in 10 years. The difference in picture quality is really unbelievable. The colors are vivid and it's almost life-like watching programming in 4K. I wasn't sure I would like the curved screen but it's a nice feature when you're watching from an angle. 65" is definitely a big TV but I don't think I'd ever want anything smaller now. The smart features work well with AppleTV and YouTube Red which I watch as much as anything.
Great TV - you won't be disappointed.

I love my new Samsung 65-inch curved television. The picture is gorgeous. The colors stay amazing when the ambient light detection mode is turned off. If the brilliance starts to hurt your eyes, just turn the ambient light detection back on and the picture will dim depending on how much light is in the room. The sound wasn't great until I went to Settings and picked "optimized" sound instead of "standard" sound. The price I paid for this TV was also amazing...$849 at a Best Buy doorbuster sale!

I haven’t bought a new tv in 9 years, and this one didn’t disappoint. The picture is amazing, and while it does not have HDR, it does have simulated HDR and for the money it can’t be beat. I was unsure of the curved screen, but that quickly became clear that its no issue at all.

Perfect tv for watching your favorite shows. The quality is awesome and the curved features make it easy to watch from almost any angle. Fits well in our master bedroom, we also have the same one in our downstairs living room which gets a lot of use entertaining our guest.

I had wanted the Samsung 65 inch curved TV since the first time I saw it in your store. There was a glare problem with the location of the TV I replaced and the curve has eliminated all that. The volume and picture quality are both phenomenal.

We love this TV. It's a great deal for what we got. It's very heavy so we chose not to wall mount. We could not load Playstation Vue on it, so we ended up getting an Amazon HD 4k fire TV connection. The voice control is reliable for TV specific functions but is too much trouble most of the time because it doesn't play well with apps. If you use Direct TV, it probably will take care of most of your needs but its easier to manually navigate when you are an app heavy user. We Have it hooked up to an HD antenna and the HD local channels look amazing. We bought it for my husband's mancave and he isn't prone to motion sickness, so it works well for him. I enjoy watching it too when he has something he wants to share but I am prone to motions sickness, so I have had to adjust to it and watch it in short intervals. It's not actually 3D, but it is definitely more dementional than a flatscreen. There is a way you can disable the qualities that supposedly make people dizzy or sick but we tried it and I still don't feel great when I watch it. We knew this might be a problem, though, so it's not our main TV and, as I said, my husband can watch without any issue. It hooked up to an alternative brand sound bar without any issue and functions perfectly. The directions are terrible. The directions are not comprehensive and assume a basic understanding of how smart Tvs work so, if it's your first smart TV, you just have to explore it like you would a new pad and it's easy enough to figure out. We love it and would definitely purchase again.

The 65" Samsung curved television is one of the best I have purchased. With 2160 pixel, it is even better. It soooo clear no matter what angle I am viewing it from. I am absolutely in love.

Our new home needed a larger tv for the space. After much consideration we opted to try a curved and couldn’t be happier. Love that all the apps are right there and I can use voice controls

Great TV! We originally went to get an LG TV but they were sold out. We got this 65” curved for an even better deal than the LG and did I mention it’s curved lol. Thanks Alan at Best Buy

I went with the curve because I liked the concept of the curved tv and it was my first time owning one. It has a great picture. The setup was easy. The curve seems to have the illusion that the tv is bigger than it is, many people have mistaken the size. They assume that the tv is larger in size than it actually is. I am a loyal Samsung customer so I always recommend their products over others.

I read the reviews before buying this TV as a Christmas gift for my husband, and figured I couldn't go wrong, I mean for $800 how could I pass it up. I'm usually pretty diligent in researching technology, but this one slipped by me, and I solely depended on reviews.
On the good side, the really good side, I got a great price on a 65" smart TV. This replaced our 42" flat screen, so we're happy with the size. I love the look of the curve too, it's sleek and modern looking.
My failure comes in not looking through the specs well enough. This TV is only 60 mhz refresh rate - the colors and overall picture quality just flat out suck. To get the look that we wanted, that rate needs to be way higher, like 240. I can't blame the TV, it's my fault for not doing my due diligence on research. BUT - I owe it to future buyers to BEWARE - if you want an amazingly crisp and clear picture, this is not the choice for you. Spend the extra money. We watch a lot of TV, so this is an issue for us. We'll be bringing this TV out to the camp and getting something that'll suit our needs better since we're just passed the return period.

lamom,
Thank you for your review of this Samsung MU6300 UHD Smart TV. I am sorry to see that you are not happy with its refresh rate specification.
Have you tried adjusting Auto Motion Plus? It is a feature designed to eliminate blur and judder on an LED TV, specifically in fast moving images. It does so by taking a 30 fps signal and adds in additional frames to help smooth out any blur or judder between frames, called interpolation.
Here is the step-by-step guide to change Auto Motion Plus settings: With the TV powered on, press the Home button on the Samsung remote to open the Home screen> Select Settings>.Select Picture > Select Expert Settings> Select Auto Motion Plus. (Note: This option may not be visible initially. Continue scrolling through the Expert Settings Menu to locate Auto Motion Plus) >Select Auto Motion Plus again, and you will see the following three options: ◦Off: Auto Motion Plus will always be off. ◦Auto: Auto Motion Plus will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched. ◦Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings: - Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting. - Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting. - LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off.
