great tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, let me say that I am a Samsung TV fan. I read the reviews and compared Samsung against LG OLED and frankly I like the picture better on Samsung. Lots of folks prefer OLED, but I prefer the brightness that samsung provides. that said: This tv is more expensive than OLED. Few items i am less than thrilled with: the new concept of no connections on the TV itself. Everything is routed from the TV to a connection box that then has all the connections (HDMI, digital audio, etc). For some folks this is a great feature, but for me it ended up adding an unnecessary box on my mantle that previously only held the soundbar and fire cube. Another thing, I do not use Bixby or frankly any of the smartness built in the tv. I bypass all of that with a fire cube and it works fantastic.

Great picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so this is a great TV when I'm comparing it to any other TV out there regarding to picture quality and performance.. I dont give it five starts because samsung one connect box doesnt have a Hdmi audio pass through, so the one connect box is useless if you want high definition audio, you will have to connect everything through your 4k amp... had to upgrade my amp because of this too.. and the one remote cant operate all my other devices through my amp. Basically if all you want is picture quality this is a great TV, if sound is something you want out of your home theater system dont get this TV and do some hw. I wish I had ...or read this review before getting it....

Top notch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture! No glare at all, even sitting on the wall directly across from an open bay window there is no glare. Tv is quick and has apps to quickly access your Prime Video, Hulu, and Netflix. Easy to mount.

Could be perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously owned an LG OLED, but didn’t like the soft and dark picture. Tried numerous settings, but just could never get used to it. Exchanged it for this QLED and was much happier with the difference in picture quality. If there is one thing that really bothers me about this tv is Samsung’s overly aggressive local dimming in dark scenes. Any and all shadow detail is lost as the image is darkened and lit up in what I can only describe as light pumping or pulsating. Extremely distracting when using streaming sources which tend to compress their feed. Outside of this issue, the tv has more than enough brightness and the color is fantastic.

Amazing TV. Looks like an OLED with it's perfect b
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV because I don't lose shadow detail as I do on an OLED. I don't have to worry about burn ins and I can expect to have this TV for a longer period of time than an OLED. Nice premium remote to pair up with the TV too. Last year's Q9 is literally nothing compared to this one. Samsung made significant changes to the QLED series this year. Definitely worth a look. Don't look into the 2017 models

Fantastic Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit is very nice looking, has an excellent picture, and the sound is good also for a slim TV. I usually listen to my TV's through my stereo but the TV speakers and sound are more than adequate for average TV viewing. I like the one box one small wire to the TV feature also, about time this was introduced. I did have issues at first connecting my stereo. I connected everything to my stereo with one output to the TV controller and had no picture or sound, very frustrating. I thought the receiver was bad, it was brand new also so first time hooking it up, so I took it back to the store and picked up another new one. The replacement did the same thing. This is what I found after 8 hours of messing with it and staring at the manuel and talking to online support and cruising the internet and talking with the store etc. no one had an answer for me! Finally about 1:15 in the morning I got on the floor and went through the menu on my Marantz receiver, not easy on those with the little porthole. Long story short, when connecting a stereo receiver you must use the ARC HDMI port, which I already was using, and "turn on ARC in your stereo" using the internal menu which you will not see on the TV screen so you must get down and up close to your receiver to use it's display and find the setting before the TV will see it. This took quite some time to figure out and no one at the store or online new about this either. Also when turning on the TV you must turn it on first then turn on your device you are using or the TV wont see it, kind of a pita. I hope they figure this out, for future owners. This is why I am giving it a 4 star rating, other than that it is a fantastic TV.

Q9F 65
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After going fom a 1080P 3D Samsung 60"to this, my research was worthwhile. It was long overdue with new technology improvements. The reviewers choice was mine as well. As great as it looked in the store, it is better in my home. You will be addicted to this, plan on it. The WOW factor wll truly amaze it's audiences with brightness and clarity almost 3D. Installed by Geek Squad, all went great. Now I'm looking at a new AV receiver to go with the 4K UHD HDR to also enhance latest 3D sound as well. Then need to add the speakers to get the 3D effects. Like having 7.1 isn't enough? Was 1080P enough? See for yourself!

Best Picture Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely happy with this television! It is very slim so perfect for mounting on wall (we put above fireplace). Clarity is amazing. We have always owned Samsung and this by far is the best one. Waiting to have it calibrated(should be done after 100 hours) in January however we have not experienced any pixilating thus far. We mounted it in a room where there is PLENTY of sunlight and have not had any issues with glare, nor have I noticed any issues with the screen picture from any angle view (viewing from the side, looking up from the floor etc.). Definitely can tell the quality is there.

Best TV I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long story short expect to be blown away by this TV! The brightness levels, contrast ratios, detail all seem to leap from the screen with the Q9FN. I had to lower the brightness level nearly half and it is still very bright and with natural light hitting the screen directly. Set up was amazing, as the software took care of my passwords and devices with ease. My only issue is off viewing angles, but even then I am talking about looking at it from the side. Even the remote is amazing. Definitely not regretting this purchase.

The King
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded my Vizio 4k 50' to Q9FN 65'. Analysed a lot before finalize between OLED and QLED. My living room have more windows so more sunlight. This Q9FN kills everything and its crystal clear even all windows are open in the peak sunlight. Not much familiar with deep blacks, but I can sense the difference between regular LED and QLED. Tizen OS is smooth, Remote and One connect Box is "the best" compare to any other TV. The only problem I have is, I cant sync my vizio soundbar with the remote. But its supporting Bose Yamaha and other major brands. So time to upgrade my soundbar :)

One Of The Best We Have Ever Had
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV I have ever had! Serious! The picture is superb! and it can be adjusted for any light or dark room unlike the OLED we returned and got this one. Be sure to get it on sale for it is in the upper med price range. You can spend more on a set but this picture is the best I have ever had. Easy set up typical Samsung controls. TV speakers are just ok, but who really use those anymore. Cant go wrong with this tv or probably its predecessor....

Simply Stunning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have the Sony and Sharp 4K Tv’s and they aren’t even close to this TV. Samsung hit it out of the park with this model, simply put it’s awesome. The blacks are almost OLED black, no blooming, everything looks good on it. So good in fact that I would pay full price (got it on sale) for this TV in a heartbeat. Absolutely no regrets buying this TV. Great features, absolutely jaw dropping picture, and paired with a good sound bar / stereo, you’ll never want to leave the room.

Excellent Image
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read multiple reviews and studied long and hard before purchasing this television. It produces an excellent black level, comparable to Oled. The image is engaging with excellent depth. The TV produces an excellent day time or night time image. Upscaling of non 4k content is very good. The TV is heavy (compared) to a non-full array or oled but outside of oled you cannot beat the image and in bright day time viewing is even better suited than oled.

Excellent Picture, design could use improvement
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv is awesome! However, upon delivery, wasn’t quite working correctly. Had to replace the fragile cable between the control box AND the control box itself....gladly under warranty, but right away? Been working excellent ever since, but the fact that such an important cable is so fragile (must coil very generously...do not bend) was kind of shocking. Depth, contrast, color, sharpness...phenomenal! 4K movies are incredible! I love it now that I am through the initial growing pains!

Picture is great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was deciding between this tv and LG OLED. I went with this and I don’t regret it. The picture is great. I watch lots of sports and also play some games. My tv is in a room with lots of windows so the brighter picture is helpful. I think if you want a tv more for movie watching and plan on using it in a darker room the OLED might be better for that but for my uses this tv is better

Great UHD TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to this TV from an older Samsung UHD TV. I love the picture quality and the One Connect box. Considerably less expensive compared to other brands of the same technology. The remote takes a little getting used to as it is not the same 70 year old design everyone has. The screen also does not have any waves (uneven reflections) on it whether off or on.

Great replacement for my Panasonic plasma
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a tv to replace my 60” Panasonic plasma 3D I was originally looking at the Sony OLED , however the more a looked into the QLED technology coupled with the great price of the display model, made the choice easier. Two key points that pushed me to the QLED was the great sound of this set along with no worries of burn in.
