    Great Concept Bad Connectivity

I’ve admired the Samsung Frame TV for years, and after tracking the reviews for Samsung’s improvements in picture quality I finally sprung for the 2025 Samsung Frame Pro. I love the Art Mode with curated selections from galleries around the world. The $50 a year subscription fee seems reasonable for the ever updating art. Samsung also has art that can be viewed without a subscription, but I can’t evaluate what’s included since I subscribed right away for the global curation. I liked the wireless design using what Samsung calls a One Connect box. With this, the only wire necessary was the power cord and fortunately I already had an outlet and where I wanted my new Frame TV mounted. The TV comes with its own wall mount, so there’s no need to buy it separately. Theirs is designed slim enough for the television to look like art hanging on the wall vs a TV. I opted to use a different mount which is slim enough yet still allows me to angle the screen as I wish when using it in television mode. While not an OLED screen, Samsung updated its QLED away from the previous edge lit type, improving picture quality in general. I’m not an expert on screen quality though, and the picture is crisp enough for me when watching a movie. It’s also crisp enough to show excellent detail in various paintings. The benefits of the One Connect box are clearly related to limiting the number of cords coming from the TV itself, making wall mount nearly anywhere easy and straightforward. The problem however is with the connectivity of the Wireless One Connect. I, (and from the internet searches I’ve done trying to find a fix) as well as many other customers, have significant issues with the box staying connected to the TV. I’ve repeatedly had error messages saying I need to reposition the One Connect box. Losing the connection essentially means losing the ability to watch anything. So this is no small issue. There’s apparently a magic placement location for the box, and finding that location is a frustrating experience. I’ve had mine sitting on a table in my living room, well within the required distance from the TV, nothing at all in between the two to block a signal, and I still get a connection error message. Customer support said that I have to unplug both the One Connect box and the TV in order to reset them, and leave them unplugged at least two hours!! Are you kidding me?? And the guidance changes depending on who you’re speaking with at Customer support. I’ve had three different people tell me three different ways to reset everything. The only thing they have in common is the length of time needed to leave everything unplugged. I’ve been asked to send in a picture of the box placement in my living room, as if my description of the placement isn’t enough or isn’t believable. I absolutely love the concept of the Wireless One Connect box, but unless Samsung fixes the connectivity situation I’d recommend leaving the 2025 Samsung Frame Pro at the store.

Bought the Samsung 65" Fram Pro from BestBuy. From the time we went in for the purchase, BestBuy folks were really helpful in us selecting the best TV and soundbar for our needs. It was a wholesome pleasant purchase experience. TV is great. New model with wireless connect box removes the hassle of cords hanging around and connect all my media sources and hides it away in the cabinet. Great TV at a great price.

The tv looks great installed, perfectly flushed to the wall. The wireless connect box is very convenient. Nice picture quality. Like any other tv sound has to be enhanced with these of external speaker for better audio.

    65" Frame Pro

The Pro is a significant upgrade in picture quality over our 2022 Frame, which is fantastic. It has much better blacks and viewing angles, which was the main complaint I had with the older version. I'm not sure how I feel about the switchover to the wireless connect box, mine is about 4 feet from the TV, inside a TV stand, and it occasionally says that the signal is low. No issues noted beyond that though. I definitely do not like that the power cord is now a regular black power cord instead of the old clear (and thin) oneconnect cord. The power cord is only about 4 feet long, if your outlet is not right behind the tv it's something to be aware of. If your outlet is behind the tv you'll need space to wind up the extra, and thick, cord. I'm sure this is why the cord is so short.

Well, after an odyssey of a delivery process, we got a fantastic TV and we are very happy with it. The size fits perfectly in the room, the non glare screen allows any angle viewing, besides the art viewing when not watching live tv is incredible. A 10 all around.

Beautiful picture and love that you can choose many different pieces of art to view on the tv. Just be aware they charge you $5.00 a month for that which I was not aware of when I purchased the tv. Love the mart screen it shows no glare.

This tv is amazing. Picture quality is great. It has a large number of free content (Samsung TV). and all the expected apps to stream the content you love. Was easy to mount. The wireless box is the best option compared to the non pro version. The matte screen really makes a difference in a room with multiple windows.

My wife and I needed a new TV. Her being an art major previously and a lover of art wanted an art piece over the fireplace I want a new large screen TV. She found the Samsung Frame Pro 65 inch TV as a compromise for us. I wasn’t sure if this was going to be something we used or not. Not only does it fit the need for both of us but I have found myself using the art gallery more than my wife. I love the crispness and matte which allows us to have stunning art on our wall along with clear crisp images on the TV. Our living room is a high natural light room and there are no issues with the clarity, or shadowing. We have great crispness with both daylight and nighttime viewing.

If you have a space that doesn't need to look TV focused but still needs a TV, this is your TV to buy. I was wrestling with interrupting the look of my living room space with a bulky television but knew I could not rationalize the absence of a tv permanently. This television has an excellent quality image and presentation all around. The sound is clear and the profile is excellent.

Bit technical to get setup to be flush to the wall. Have to have a recessed plug in order to use Best Buy Geek Squad installers. Finished product is fantastic.

Best TV I have ever owned. It doubles as a painting and its always a talking point when people come over. Though they are expensive, they are worth every penny. Will be putting these in all rooms of my house once able too.

Opted for the wireless, system has trouble maintaining connection, always asking us to adjust placement of box. Liked the old Frame TV better, next time we go with hard line. Good TV, great picture, love the look.

      ChrisP,

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Frame Pro TV and Wireless One Connect. If you're seeing a message that says "Wireless One Connect is disconnected" while watching content from an external source (such as a set-top box, game console, or antenna), this typically means the TV has lost its wireless connection to the Wireless One Connect Box.

To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:
      1. Check that the Wireless One Connect Box is powered on. If it’s turned off, power it back on. Once powered, the TV should automatically reconnect when the signal is strong enough.
      2. If the unit is powered on but still disconnected, you may need to adjust the alignment:
o Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Connections > Wireless One Connect > Wireless One Connect Status > Adjust
o Carefully adjust the Wireless One Connect Box’s position until the antenna icon turns blue, which indicates a strong signal and a successful connection.

If the issue continues after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat with an agent and additional support resources are also available on the Samsung website under the ‘Support’ section.

Very pleased with the picture quality and overall presentation of this beautiful TV. When not watching something it presents wonderful artwork, and I have even learned how to upload my own photos using the app (easy!). Not having a wire to the box with all the ports let me put it where I want which is great. It was delivered on the day promised and box was in perfect condition. Would recommend.

I was blown away by this Product. It looks great over my fireplace and in the art mode it adds a touch of elegance and refinement to our great room. My wife, Terri and I are both gaining new appreciation for the art and its ability to enrich our lives. The Samsung frame smart T.V. has surpassed all of our expectations.

    Aesthetics vs viewing function

The Samsung Frame Pro is a solid television with a standout art mode that truly sets it apart. My initial interest in the Frame Pro was entirely based on its ability to display artwork when the TV is off—and in that respect, it absolutely delivers. The art feature is stunning, seamlessly blending the TV into a home’s decor and transforming it into a digital canvas. As a TV, it performs well in certain areas. Bright, vibrant colors are where it really shines. It handles vivid scenes with sharp detail and great contrast. However, its handling of darker content is where things fall a bit short. Blacks lack depth and nuance, often appearing more washed out or flat, especially in shadow-heavy scenes. There isn’t much variation in the dark tones, which can make night scenes or dimly lit content feel less immersive. In terms of usability in well-lit spaces, the Frame Pro does a great job minimizing glare and reflections—an important feature for rooms with lots of windows or ambient light. That said, in these brighter settings, the overall image can appear darker than expected. It’s a trade-off: the anti-reflective screen reduces glare beautifully but at the cost of some image brightness. Overall, the Samsung Frame Pro is a great option for those who value aesthetics and the art display feature. While it’s not the most high-performing TV for deep contrast or cinematic darkness, it does well in bright environments and looks beautiful on the wall—on or off.

      Amyp,

We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung Frame Pro TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks.

Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.

You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      • Standard – Default mode for general viewing
      • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms
      • Movie – Best for dark room viewing
      • Eco – Energy-saving mode
      • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators

To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference.

Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

We hope these tips help improve your viewing experience. If you need further support, feel free to contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

It's a lifestyle tv. It looks great on the wall and displays art and pictures well. Streaming looks great, though this isn't the best picture you can buy. However, most buyers know what they're getting into.
