Gabriel Galindo was the associate who helped us purchase our 65 “ Samsung tv. Did a great job helping us getting checked out and setting up the home delivery and the home theater
So far we are adjusting to the tv having black bars on the top and bottom edges; black bars on the side edges; or black edges on all 4 sides of the screen. Very unhappy about the black edges but not much we can do about it unless we bought an entirely different brand of tv. Just have to live with it.
Our old Samsung never had any black edging on any Chanel ever. It was always full screen on every Chanel . Very disappointing on our new Samsung TV.

Black bars on the screen means the aspect ratio of your TV is different from the aspect ratio of what you're watching, or basically, the video you're watching is wider than your TV. In order to show the entire video without cutting the left and right edges off, black bars are used at the top and bottom to fill in the extra space on your TV. If you don't mind the sides being cut off, then you can usually adjust your aspect ratio on your TV to reduce or remove the black bars.
However, the TV can be adjusted to help minimize this.
By adjusting the aspect ratio, you can get the image to fill the screen. Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Size Settings > Picture Size

Purchased in December 2023. 2 remote controls replaced at my own expense. HDMI port 3 quit working on 09.24.25. Samsung says TV is out of warranty and any service or repair will be at my expense. So now my Sonos Arc soundbar won’t connect. Will have to try an optical cable I guess
Have had at least 5 Samsung TVs over the years and this one is by far the worst. I have a 15 year old Samsung that still works perfect and will not die. Guess their quality has gone down hill or I just got a lemon
