This is an expensive TV. I purchased it in late March and the screen went dark in 2 months. I was told that the "panel" is bad. Called Samsung and expressed the urgency given I was hosting a party on the upcoming weekend. Was told that they'd have to call a scheduling company to call me who could then give me a date for them to come out and attempt to repair (rather than replace). If you're willing to spend the $ on one of their most expensive products and it breaks after 2 months, I'd expect a different level of service than if I had purchased a 38" TV.

The product had a shadow on the screen when I first mounted it. Also, you would think this TV for the price would come with an outdoor cover.

Best Buy in Wilmington is terrific. Employees are awesome.
Geek Squad is absolutely awful and weakens the overall experience. Only have confidence buying items I can take and install myself.

Black Vertical Bars After 2 Months

Installed in November with limited use. Black lines started showing up in Jan and now a big black bar is left of middle on the screen in end of a Feb. I’ve never paid so much for a tv and have never had a tv break down this fast. Amazingly disappointed. I have about 6 other Samsungs that are not Terrace and they work great. Got maybe 6-8 uses out of it. Reading up online that Samsungs have coming vertical line issues. I’ll call for warranty on Monday and see what that say but it sucks either way to ship my TV for god knows how long and/or pay someone to repair it. It’s a brand new $5k TV!!!!!

Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

The tv has not been installed yet (in the process of construction). We were told to contact by email (our salesman) when we were ready for the Geek Squad. We have emailed Tim & Anthony Candalera 3 times - No response. The contractor is ready- HELP ASAP PLEASE

Save Yourself $5-$10K & Stay Away from the Terrace

I have purchased and owned many televisions over my 55 years on this planet and I can say most definitively the Samsung Terrace Series outdoor television is an absolute piece of garbage. Trust me - do the research and pay attention to the customers who say this is NOT an outdoor television because they are 100% correct.
I am fortunate to own 2 outdoor rated LED tv’s - one is a 55” Sunbrite that I have owned for close to 6 years and it is an absolute tank. Sits outdoors all year round and many of those years were spent in the northeastern U.S. with harsh weather conditions. No issues whatsoever with the Sunbrite. The mistake I made was not purchasing another Sunbrite for my second outdoor application. Here, I purchased a 75” Samsung Terrace having read all the glowing reviews and ignoring the warnings of some who claimed this was not a built for purpose outdoor television.
I also regrettably ignored the fact that Samsung has ZERO experience building outdoor televisions at this point.
Less than five months later, I am regretting that decision. I used my new Samsung Terrace television 3 times in the mild North Carolina weather and it is fully covered and protected from the elements. Now it is a $10K boat anchor. It is completely shot and Samsung cannot repair it. Something about the screen is defective but who really cares what the issue is when you spend $10K on a television - you expect it to work more than three times and survive at least one season.
Not the Samsung Terrace. I am now fighting daily with Samsung to try and replace this 100 lb piece of garbage. The sad thing is, I’m sure Samsung will eventually replace it whenever they get good and ready to take action but I have ZERO confidence the replacement will last more than the original.
To top things off, dealing with Samsung customer service is an absolute nightmare. It is enough to drive you insane.
Save yourself the time, money and exasperation and stay away from this product. As for me, I don’t plan to purchase another Samsung product ever again

Nice TV but sun spots

Really nice TV, but if sun shines on it you get a black heat spot. Cannot see picture until direct sunlight goes away
Thank you for your review of The Terrace TV. Please know the Partial Sun Terrace is designed for use in partial shade, with exposure to indirect or ambient sunlight only. To ensure proper QLED performance, the TV screen should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Although the dark areas will disappear when the screen is taken out of direct sunlight, continuous exposure to direct sunlight may cause damage to the TV screen.
