I was considering various brands of surround sound speakers. BOSE was the brand I was leaning towards, which has excellent sound quality. I purchased Samsung because I was pleased when I heard the demo Samsung. My Samsung surround sound purchase was the best decision for now owning and enjoying fabulous sound!

I purchased this after returning the high-end Samsung HW-Q950T which had serious wireless connection issues with the subwoofer and rear satellite speakers. Although Leary after experiencing the above experience with the Q950, I decided to give Samsung another try since I did like the sound that bar produced. I purchased the HW-Q900 with a rear speakers option. I configured the system and everything connected easily. The wired rear speakers worked great and the bar sounded awesome. This almost reversed my negative feelings I had about Samsung products; until the display on the bar went out. Although, I applied the firmware and hoped this would resolve the issue, it did not. Called Samsung tech support, and after almost an hour of wasted time trying different options to get the display to come up, the technician recommended to return the bar and get a replacement which I did. To my relief the replacement worked flawlessly. Samsung needs to address the quality issues with their factories in China. I myself would be very Leary of buying Samsung products in the future.

I was very skeptical of this sound bar. I enjoy trying out different sound systems and I own a full 7.2ch system with Klipsch speakers and subwoofers. I can say this soundbar and subwoofer come pretty close to that discrete sound system. If your short on space and trying to get a very good sound this system will cost you about the same as a decent surround sound stand alone receiver.

It's a very decent product. Sounds great through the speakers and all. The only problem is when the Dolby Atmos is highlighted,there is at times the sound disappears for a second or two on any program I watch. Is there any way of fixing it?

Love the sound quality, has all the latest tech for next generation gaming and pairs nicely with the Q80T TV from Samsung. I hate that the display bar has been moved to the top of the sound bar

It's so magical. Mounted in a room with a half staircase to the right, no back wall, and one to the left is all windows. You won't be fine tuning like you could with a receiver and individual speakers but can adjust the woofer, treble, and different sound modes. Used the wall mount brackets to attach to the tv mount below the the tv. Fantastic buy out of the box.

I wound up returning this sound bar because it was a bit too loud for my room. Great Sound and paired easily with my tv. A very good product. The only con would be that there is a glitch from very low to very loud with nothing in between. What I mean is goes from level 2 volume and level 3 is more like 7. There should be more finesse with the volume level.

Wow, super powerful soundbar, the surround mode actually works, you can definitely tell how the sound for certain effects are coming from different directions. Very happy with it

Got this to replace an older 3.1 soundbar to pair with a new Sony OLED I bought. Definitely is a step up - the side firing speakers help to give a wider sound stage. While the Atmos performance may not be as good as higher end systems, it works well enough for convincing spatial awareness. The automatic calibration via the app uses a mic and the subwoofer as well. Having watched a lot of Apple TV+, HBO Max, and Prime Video titles for the past few weeks, I am definitely happy with the purchase. The subwoofer hits hard and the soundbar is very detailed as well. One thing to note is that this can be set up with Alexa, which I disabled since I already have an Echo. Otherwise, it will automatically turn on whenever you say the wake word.

Everyone from the salesmen to the Geek Squad did excellent. I am very pleased with both the sound bar and the tv. I am having a bit of a problem with getting NETFLIX to work. can't input the correct email, other than that everything is fantastic .

The sound was phenomenal when it was working, right after the 2 year mark it no longer plays any sound. was connected via EARC the whole duration of its life and randomly stopped working one day. Tried Bluetooth, nothing. Would recommend going with a different brand. Samsung use to be good.
