Clear crisp sound at even the highest volume levels. The sub shakes the entire house! Game mode is even more insane- as you pan to and from characters on screen, their voices also move accordingly. Great background sounds during gaming. Playing music? Off the chart! Well worth the price tag!

The bar is fully integrated with my TV, and I actually control everything, including the sound bar with my Roku Remote. Super easy to set-up. As other reviews said, the Bass could be more, and that would've made it 5 stars.

Won't stay paired with Q80T TV...

I was using an older surround system, using ARC connections. Worked great. Bought this to use eARC connection directly to TV, figured simple, easy, same manufacturer, will work great. This soundbar does sound GREAT. My love for it ends there. Do NOT expect to have your Q series TV remember that you want to use your Q series soundbar. I have to go into setting EVERY SINGLE TIME. This issue is all over Samsung forums and Samsung simply ignores it. Read up on this first, then by an LG, Sony, or Vizeo...

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-Q900T Soundbar and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the soundbar not maintaining the desired source connection.
We recommend resetting the soundbar by powering it off and then pressing and holding the Play/Pause button until it displays 'INIT OK'. Power on the soundbar, and then try pairing the soundbar to your TV again.
Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update (ver.1019.5 released on 4/6/21). You can update your firmware by Auto Update, using the SmartThings app, or by using a USB device.

I didnt want to go with the side speakers because the room to the right is open. I assumed this would work but would have preferred the other two side speakers. Easy enough to use. I wish the app or on screen had more functionality. The small postage size screen on the unit is hard to see.

Thank you for your review of the Samsung HW-Q900T Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you had some connection issues with this soundbar.
Please know that this model can be connected to your TV via HDMI.
Here is the step-by-step guide for your reference:
1) With the Soundbar and TV turned on, connect the HDMI cable (not supplied).
2) “TV ARC” appears in the display window of the Soundbar main unit and the Soundbar plays TV Sound.
a. If TV sound is inaudible, press the (Source) button on the remote control or on the right side of the Soundbar to switch to “D.IN” mode. The screen displays “D.IN” and “TV ARC” in sequence, and the TV sound is played.
b. If “TV ARC” does not appear in the display window of the Soundbar main unit, confirm that the cable is connected to the correct port.
c. Use the volume buttons on the TV’s remote control to change the volume on the Soundbar.
If the TV provides an ARC port, connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN (ARC) port. We recommend you use a coreless HDMI cable if possible. If you use a corded HDMI cable, use one whose diameter is less than 0.55 inches (14 mm). This function is not available if the HDMI cable does not support ARC.

It's a soundbar

Soundbar recognized the system immediately & is activated when we use the TV. Woofer is a little bigger than I thought it would be, but we made it work. Will be getting the satellite speakers as the true "surround" sound isn't really there.
