Very impressive. Sound fills the room. There is slight crackle sound. But it does not bother me. Very strong base. Earc is working after update!

Got rid of my Bose when I got new TV; too much bass and no voice adjustment. This system is great all thru the spectrum PLUS wireless rear speakers.

The sound is good (the sub is okay), but a firmware bug that prevents the ARC handshake from succeed about 25% of the time you power up a system is outrageous. You need to unplug and re-plug cables and pray, sometimes powering everything off and on multiple times to recover. Samsung theoretically has an update coming, but it's very, very late at this point. I would not have purchased this had I realized (stupid me) about this basic issue.

I absolutely love this system when it works. The wireless Subwolfer and back speakers don't always pair. Sometimes even when it's paired, they fade in and out during movies or songs. There was supposedly an update to fix the issue but it's not consistent.

Theatre like sound at home. If you have a nice OLED or QLED TV, you should have nice sound to complete the HD experience. It's really good!

Upon opening the box, I noticed the contents were packed tight and well. The first thing I removed was the sound bar which was pretty heavy and long in width but manufactured of high quality. I then proceeded to remove the subwoofer which was not too heavy but also well built. The rear speaker also built of high quality and, have some weight on them. As these speakers are wireless there is only a power input and no connection for speaker wires. I couldn’t believe how easy the setup was. Once I connected all the speakers to the power, I had to press a sync button located behind them, and once the blue light stays solid the sync process is completed. This took a total of one minute for all the speakers. Once the system was setup, I tested the system with some music from Spotify. The music only played from the sound bar and the subwoofer which was expected as there was no need for the rear speakers for music. The sound quality was rich and full which is expected of Harmon / Kardon. It was very pleasing to hear how good this system sounded being that it was wireless. I decided to play an animated movie (Transylvania 3) because it offers Dolby Atmos. From the introduction of the movie to include the introductory credits I was impressed. I really felt like I was in a movie theater when really I was just in my living room. The sound effects were great. My daughter was watching the movie with me and I saw her looking around the room when the Dolby Atmos was active. I also watch the Secret Life of pets and was also impressed with all the sound effects coming from all speakers. What is also a big surprised is how loud the system is while the volume is set to 35. Keep in mind that the maximum volume is 100. Also keep in mind that the Bass was not adjusted this is all standard presets with adaptive sound. Another great feature that I notice was the adaptive sound, with my previous 2.1 home theater system I had trouble listening to speech when people talked in movies but with this sound bar it really is clear where I no longer need closed captions. I downloaded the smart things applications to connect the sound bar to wifi. The wifi is useful to cast music from select applications like Spotify and Tunein Radio. Bluetooth is also available for those devices that do not have applications or if it is a preferred method. This system also works with Amazon Alexa but unfortunately, I don’t have Alexa. I wish in the future they can do a software upgrade to include Google Assistant which I currently use. The only big disappointed that I have is that it only has two 4K HDMI passthrough inputs being at this price point. Overall this is a great system for an average price compare to other high end soundbars in its class and, is one of the only few soundbars that offers 7.1.4 with rear speakers. This sound bar also supports most of the modern sound format such as Dolby Atmos and, DTS:X. Watching movies with Dolby Atmos you really feel submerged with the sounds coming from all around. In the box it comes with the soundbar,subwoofer, two satellite speakers, manual, remote, power cables and wall brackets if you wish to mount them.

Overall works well. Easy to set up with Samsung QLED TV. Great sound from all speakers. Powerful subwoofer. Dolby Atmos requires some buffering.

Wonderful sound across the board with this item. Watched the latest avengers movie and it felt like I was at the actual theatre all over again.

unless you have specific movies that do adaptive sound, the rear speakers never kick in the only sound is from the soundbar

Purchased this at Best Buy, got some really nice speaker stands for the rear speakers, but the thing keeps cutting out. Every time I try to watch some thing the HDMI arc switches to digital in DIN. Had the Geek squad come to the house and they couldn’t figure it out either. I was so disappointed because when it worked it sounded fantastic! Samsung quality controls got to be better for the price of the sound bar. I should’ve listen to the reviews that said this happened because they are true!

Awsome sound! But can't reeally appreciate the Dolby Atmos. A 5.1 made movies more exciting than this 7.1. Sorround sound cannot be really appreciated either.

Geek squad had to come out two times and still didn't program the remote that I paid for , so i did it myself.

What an awesome sound system It goes perfect with my 65 inch Samsung TV and was easy plug and play

though it get very loud the louder it gets the worse the sound quality gets. I also own a Samsung q90r and the sound quality on that remains the same even at max volume. The shockwafe remote is horrible and turning the volume up and down does not always work properly. The rear speakers sound bad also at high volumes. The subs play voices at high volume and make them sound muffled. I will be returning this today. Mid to low volume levels this sounds great but that fact that the sound quality drops so much at high volumes is a big disappointment for me

Fantastic sound experience, when it works. Wait for better wireless technology. sub and rear. speakers will not stay connected. Samsung said to update firmware, so I did. It didn't help. There are many of the same complaints on their site.

I love this soundbar, and the atmos sound effects is awesome.
