Sound bar extremely heavy and not able to mount safely and level with attachments. Had to purchase additional supports to properly and safely mount. Voice control challenging at times to sync w tv.

If it works there is no better soundbar , only issue making sure there no issues.

I’ve been using the Samsung Q90R as my living room soundbar for over a couple weeks now and am extremely pleased with the overall sound quality and performance, with only a couple criticisms. The soundbar, subwoofer, and wireless rear speakers came securely packaged in a large box with styrofoam inserts to ensure nothing moves around and gets damaged. Unpacking and setting up the system was quick and easy. We did have to swap out our 65” TV with the 55” from our bedroom because the soundbar was too large to fit on our current TV stand with the 65” television, please read the specs for the full size and weight of the soundbar, this is the largest one I’ve ever owned. I have the soundbar plugged into the HDMI (ARC) port on my television with an Xbox One and Sony 4K blu-ray player connected to the soundbar HDMI in ports. Once everything was set-up I started my blu-ray player and the TV and soundbar turned-on automatically as they should, all was well. After listening for a few seconds I realized the subwoofer wasn’t connecting. I then did a check and realized the right rear speaker wasn’t connecting either. The left rear was connected and sounded good. After reading the manual a little more I found out how to manually connect the subwoofer and rear speakers using pressing “ID Set’ button on the back of the speakers for 5 seconds then holding the up button on the remote until “ID SET” is displayed on the soundbar. The manual connection worked quickly without any problems however I have to go through this process every time I turn on the soundbar, which is becoming very annoying. I do have a the Velop wireless mesh home wi-fi network in my house, which might be causing problems, but I’ve moved the nodes as far away from the speakers as possible and it hasn’t helped. Also, why isn’t the left rear speaker having issues? It always connects on startup. I’ll have to reach out to Samsung support to see if I might have a faulty product? Aside from the connectivity issue I have to say that this soundbar does a better job of recreating theater quality sound than any other soundbar I’ve heard yet. It sounds amazing! I’ve performed many sound tests, listening to a wide range of music, movies with Atmos, Youtube 7.1 sound checks, different media types, etc.. and everything sounds perfect. Movies, games, music, all come out clear and precise. This system has a fantastic overall balance and dynamic range. You can hear all the individual sounds, voices are no longer muffled by background noise, it’s like going from standard picture quality to 4K! The bass control is also exceptional, bass extension, speed, tonal variation, and attack and decay were all engineered perfectly, thank you Harman/ Kardon! I’m very happy with the overall design, and performance of this soundbar. The sound quality is state of the art and top of the line but the connectivity issues I've been having are preventing me from giving this 5 stars. Once I get the connectivity issue fixed, I will recommend this product to friends and family, with high praise.
