This soundbar is a very good attempt at reproducing a home theater sound system without all the hassle of multiple wires and buying the right receiver. It produces a good enough movie watching experience that if you were to buy a home theater surround sound system, you would likely have to spend a bit more to surpass what this soundbar provides. However, it is not without its own frustrations and one must keep in mind the limitations of what a soundbar can actually do compared to a full surround sound system. For starters, the initial setup could not be any easier. You will need an outlet for each of the surround sound speakers, one for the soundbar, and another one for the subwoofer. Configuring the wireless speakers to connect to the soundbar took less than a minute total. The next step is quite important to get the most out of this soundbar, and that is placement. The manual includes recommendations on distances between the focus point, and this is important because in order to experience full dolby atmos, the sound has to reflect off of your side walls and ceiling. As you can already tell, this may not be suitable to many. You might have obstructions in the way, or you a window/ceiling fan blocking the reflection path. If that is the case, this may not be the product for you. Afterwords, the soundbar itself has levels for each speaker that you can adjust. If you don't take your time here to properly configure the levels to your liking, then you might as well buy a cheaper sound system. My advice is to find a sound track (I used one from the dolby site that tested an atmos system) and basically play that track until it is to your liking. Once you have the system configured correctly, getting to finally use the system is when you've now realized all that time invested in optimizing was worth it. I've experienced multiple soundbars in the past and this one easily takes the cake. You really can tell and hear the sound around you. In my opinion, the thing that is holding this back slightly would be the subwoofer. The bass just isn't there sometimes, and in this department I may be spoiled a bit by my other subwoofers. Overall, this is a solid investment if you have the room for it. This is a great stepping stone for someone who wants to experience full surround sound without the hassle of buying a lot of equipment.

Very simple setup with my Samsung TV. Music sounds excellent too.

Was surprised hearing it in the store. Heard the rears lacking a lot. I was told we can raise them just they didn’t know how to but there was a way. I took one to play with. The fronts sound great but the rear just totally disappoints. Even with all fronts at -6 and the rears at +6 you can barely tell a difference. Go with a different bar for sure.
