We bought this as an open box item, but it works great! It's pretty quiet and dries quickly. Also, it periodically fluffs clothes to prevent wrinkles after cycle is complete.

Bought the Samsung washer dryer set and had issues with both. Paid about $1200 for the pair and both were cheaper to replace than the cost to repair them 4 years later. Never buying a Samsung washer or dryer again.

Having only owned this dryer for a few days, I cannot comment on the reliabilty, though the guy who delivered it mentioned all these dryers are being tested after there were some circuit board issues earlier in the product cycle. This dryer seems to dry clothes faster than our last one. I mostly wrote this because those chimes can be annoying, and in fact my wife threatened to make me take it back, and under such great pressure, I discovered they can be shut off. ALL the warnings CAN be turned off, though it can be found nowhere in the manual. There is a button on the upper right that is used to turn the Mixed Load warning bell on and off. If you press and HOLD the button, a "speaker disabled" symbol shows up on the panel, and kills all those annoying noises. It would be nice if this had been easy to discover, and on the Samsung website and here on Best Buy's Q& A, a "Ms.Samsung" says to push the button to disable the sound. However she is not specific enough to tell you to HOLD the button, and merely pushing the button does something else entirely. In addition, the disabling of the bell is saved throughout on and off cycles, so the noise will stay off until you choose to re-enable. The only difference between this dryer and the next level up is the metal trim ring on the door. Buy this one instead of the DV220, unless you value looks over money.

I am very skeptical about buying Samsung products, as they have usually failed me (TVs, cell phones, camcorders, etc). But, I bought the Samsung DV210AEW dryer for $500 (must have been a big sale b/c the price is back to $650/700) as the reviews were fairly strong. delivery was free (the installers did a great job) this unit is quiet, efficient, and easy to use. I really enjoy the timer so that I know how much time is left. part of the gimmick is that Best Buy (or any other place that sells you appliances) will NOT install the appliance unless you buy their accessories (hose for washer, power cord and air vent for dryer). i have only had this for about a week, so I only give it 4 stars for now.

Great dryer, pairs with the washer. only issue we have is the stack kit makes the dryer 3 inches behind the washer, on top of the rear vent that keeps you 4 inches off the wall. wish it would have stacked straight up. we lost 8 inches of floor space in front. other than that is is great. nice and quiet. I will probably look into the side discharge kit which is another $50, but samsung doesn't have this model on their site yet.

Our previous dryer required you to run each load twice to get dry, even on the highest setting. With our purchase of the Samsung Dryer, we finally have the satisfaction of quality drying! The dry times are under an hour, even for large loads, and the multiple settings allow for great customization of your laundry if needed. I can't deny that the song played at the end of each load is a great little bonus to the purchase. The only complaint I have is the price, which after the protection plans and tax was a bit higher than I was hoping to pay. But as far as functionality goes, you'll be impressed with the Samsung.

Purchased this Samsung Dryer along with the Samsung Washer and what a Perfect Match. Love the Auto Sensing Feature that adjusts the Dry Time based on the load. Energy Efficient is always a plus. Lint trap is user friendly along with all of the control panels on the display. There is a nice tune that plays when the cycle is complete.

Doesn't take long for clothes to dry, doesnt vibrate house, easy stackable set-up, lots of options.

I bought this dryer as it is the mate to my previous Samsung washer purchase. I was amazed at how easy this dryer is to operate and how the custom settings allow for lots of temperatures based on the type of material and dampness level. This dryer also has a feature to keep tossing the clothes after the cycle is finished to help you mimumize wrinkling.

Dryer is quiet, efficient, does the job well with a cute little song at the end to let you know its done. My only complaint would be that I can't run the dryer for only 10 or 15 minutes, some of the cycles force you into certain choices. Also don't leave detergent sitting on the washer, spin cycle will throw it right off! (I know from experience!)

I bought this because we needed to upgrade. It was on sale and I had heard that Samsung was a good brand. I was not disappointed. It dries quickly and has several settings for a bottom of the line dryer. I am so very pleased with this product. I also have the matching washer which is great too!

I bought this when I moved to Texas back in Sept. 2010 and needed an electric dryer instead of the gas one I had. This has got to be the most efficient, user friendly dryer I've ever used. The built-in sensor is great for adjusting how long your clothes dry, and there's also a timer option if you want to use a set time. The Samsung also uses a "chime" that's slightly more pleasant than the usual loud buzzer you get with other dryers (which can be turned off if desired). The Samsung always runs smooth, vibrating only a little bit. Great! The basin is very large and easily accommodates blankets, coats, etc. If I had to come up with a single gripe it might be that the dryness sensor sometimes leave the clothes just a little damp; but it usually does an incredible job and that's far better than the alternative of drying too long. Don't let that be a deal-breaker! I don't typically write a lot of reviews, but I'm back at Best Buy to look for a dishwasher and thought I'd contribute. So, after 10 months the Samsung performs just like it did on the day I brought it home--excellent.

Our salesperson recommended the Samsung products based on recent consumer reporting agency reviews and overall customer feedback. In addition, the washer and dryer were each on sale. We could not be happier with our choice. We did not opt for the models with the broader feature set (and higher price), as we have not had those features on our previous appliances and felt we did not need them at this time. The controls are simple and straightforward, and the clothes come out of the washer clean and the dryer quickly.

I researched different dryers for about 9 months before deciding to buy this dryer. I bought it when it was on sale and it is definitely worth it. There are a lot of different cycles to choose from, and so far they all work great. My clothes do not come out wrinkled and too hot. I am very pleased with this dryer, and would recommend it.

This washer and dryer work perfectly for me and my girlfriend's needs. They are large enough to take care of all of our weekly laundry in 2 loads. They are extremely quiet and we don't even notice them with the laundry room door open. We absolutely love the pedestals and the extra storage and height they provide are a tremendous boon to all of our laundry needs. We have had no problems with this setup and highly recommend it to our friends and you.

I bought the matching washer and dryer and had them stacked. Both work great and I love the wrinke release feature on the dryer if I forget to take out my dry laundry I just put it on that setting and clothes come out wrinkle free! My daughter said:" Not everybody can say that their washer and dryer plays music like ours..." lol (It plays a tune when finished drying)

This dryer replaced a 40 year old Kenmore that was still going strong, but the door would stay shut. The Dryer is quiet, has a large capacity, multiple cycles and clothes come out at just the right dry level (not overly dry and wrinkly). And it was on sale and a decent price. The Delivery and installation crew was great -- reversed the door and made sure everything was working properly.

No issues yet. Love how quiet it is. Digital display is nice. I could not be happier. I'll check back in a few months.

Love it. Very efficient. Can't believe how fast my clothes get dry!
