Samsung - 7.3 Cu. Ft. 7-Cycle Electric Dryer - White

We bought this as an open box item, but it works great! It's pretty quiet and dries quickly. Also, it periodically fluffs clothes to prevent wrinkles after cycle is complete.

Bought the Samsung washer dryer set and had issues with both. Paid about $1200 for the pair and both were cheaper to replace than the cost to repair them 4 years later. Never buying a Samsung washer or dryer again.

Having only owned this dryer for a few days, I cannot comment on the reliabilty, though the guy who delivered it mentioned all these dryers are being tested after there were some circuit board issues earlier in the product cycle. This dryer seems to dry clothes faster than our last one. I mostly wrote this because those chimes can be annoying, and in fact my wife threatened to make me take it back, and under such great pressure, I discovered they can be shut off. ALL the warnings CAN be turned off, though it can be found nowhere in the manual. There is a button on the upper right that is used to turn the Mixed Load warning bell on and off. If you press and HOLD the button, a "speaker disabled" symbol shows up on the panel, and kills all those annoying noises. It would be nice if this had been easy to discover, and on the Samsung website and here on Best Buy's Q& A, a "Ms.Samsung" says to push the button to disable the sound. However she is not specific enough to tell you to HOLD the button, and merely pushing the button does something else entirely. In addition, the disabling of the bell is saved throughout on and off cycles, so the noise will stay off until you choose to re-enable. The only difference between this dryer and the next level up is the metal trim ring on the door. Buy this one instead of the DV220, unless you value looks over money.

I am very skeptical about buying Samsung products, as they have usually failed me (TVs, cell phones, camcorders, etc). But, I bought the Samsung DV210AEW dryer for $500 (must have been a big sale b/c the price is back to $650/700) as the reviews were fairly strong. delivery was free (the installers did a great job) this unit is quiet, efficient, and easy to use. I really enjoy the timer so that I know how much time is left. part of the gimmick is that Best Buy (or any other place that sells you appliances) will NOT install the appliance unless you buy their accessories (hose for washer, power cord and air vent for dryer). i have only had this for about a week, so I only give it 4 stars for now.

Great dryer, pairs with the washer. only issue we have is the stack kit makes the dryer 3 inches behind the washer, on top of the rear vent that keeps you 4 inches off the wall. wish it would have stacked straight up. we lost 8 inches of floor space in front. other than that is is great. nice and quiet. I will probably look into the side discharge kit which is another $50, but samsung doesn't have this model on their site yet.

Our previous dryer required you to run each load twice to get dry, even on the highest setting. With our purchase of the Samsung Dryer, we finally have the satisfaction of quality drying! The dry times are under an hour, even for large loads, and the multiple settings allow for great customization of your laundry if needed. I can't deny that the song played at the end of each load is a great little bonus to the purchase. The only complaint I have is the price, which after the protection plans and tax was a bit higher than I was hoping to pay. But as far as functionality goes, you'll be impressed with the Samsung.

Purchased this Samsung Dryer along with the Samsung Washer and what a Perfect Match. Love the Auto Sensing Feature that adjusts the Dry Time based on the load. Energy Efficient is always a plus. Lint trap is user friendly along with all of the control panels on the display. There is a nice tune that plays when the cycle is complete.

Doesn't take long for clothes to dry, doesnt vibrate house, easy stackable set-up, lots of options.
