I haven't had a steam dryer before, but the clothes come out nice a clean, less wrinkles and smelling fresher than my old electric dryer did.

We have owned MAYTAG products for 12 years. We decided to switch to SAMSUNG after reading reviews and so far we are somewhat happy with the product. The dryer takes a little longer to dry a load of cloths and we are not happy with the steamer function (don't use it anymore); cloths that should not get wet get wet.

I have the matching washer so it was a no brainer to get the dryer as well!

Exceeded all expectations, would purchase again, Samsung has done it again.

Excellent product. It did replace my 12 year old gas dryer.

Needed to replace both the the washer and dryer after 10 years. looking over the various manufactures I was looking hard at the LG products and read reviews that stated water hammering and washer doors opening during the wash cycle, not worth the investment. Then I researched the Samsung and specifically these models and have to say they are high on delivering quality and performance. the steam cleaning of the tub after 40 washed is huge to control the order and mold issues common in front load washers. Additionally, the cleaning of the cloths is superb - cleaner that what I experienced in the past.. Do your research and you will find these units are highly rated and worth the investment - if they can last greater then 10 years then added bonus and time will tell.

This steam gas dryer is excellent and an energy saver.

Couldn't pick out a better dryer for our new house!

So far we are liking this. Only thing is it runs for 4 hrs in echo mode. which is bad.

The dryer is great, it's effectively dried all types of loads from delicate items to large items like queen sized comforters. I'm very happy with my purchase, no regrets at all.
