This is a very fine quality TV with excellent picture clarity. It helps to pair it with a sound bar for best audio quality.

Not a bad price/quality however, their is a flaw with wireless network connections. The tv will drop the connection after it works properly the first time when setup/connected to wifi. After the tv is turned off for some time and you turn it back on, it will not connect to the wireless connection. I've even tried other types of wifi connection (ie hotspot) and it will not connect. Only fix is a factory reset, everytime.

Thank you for purchasing the TU6980 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing network connection issues.
You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Instructions for how to update firmware are detailed here: samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/

We order a TV and soundbar. Best buy came and installed it for us so there are no wires showing or hanging from the tv.

This is by far one of the best TVs I have purchased. The color is great. I really enjoyed how the remote learned the functions of the FireStick to eliminate the use of two remotes.

It is a big TV but I don’t think it is a good quality. The screen looked off. I think for 70” screen it needs to be at least 120 MHz

Thank you for sharing your thoughts of the Samsung TU6980 TV. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the sharpness. 1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing. 2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box. 3) Adjust the cable box or satellite box's video output resolution to 1080i. 4) Look for a channel that is broadcasting native HD content. For over the air/cable antenna connection, try these steps to find HD channels: Go to Menu>Settings> Broadcasting> Auto Program
