    The fist TV I bought came with a defective remote control. Customer service was horrible and flat out told me to either wait for 2 weeks for a new remote or to just return the TV. Absolutely no help from Samsung at all, no offer to pick up the TV and bring a new one. This is a 75 inch TV and I drive a coupe so it’s hell to find a way to transport this. Returned it to beat buy then got a new one and after a week with it decided it wasn’t worth the 1300k. Picture is dim and very hard to see image in bright room no matter how high to adjust the backlight. Swapped it for a Vizio Quantum P series which came with a black spot in the middle of the screen which I think is blown out Leds begins the screen or something of that sort. Vizio will take care of defective unit by sending a new one and picking up the old one completely free of charge. That’s good customer service.

    Great TV, but I've now owned it for less than 2 years and I have a black horizontal line on my screen...I'm not sure what to do about it...going to see if Best buy can help me replace the TV or if they send me to the manufacturer, if so god help me.

    I really wanted to write an awesome review for my 75’ Samsung 8 series. However within two weeks of mounting it, one of the hdmi ports went out on me. So in order for me to play my Xbox I have to unhook the hdmi cord from another source. Horrible value for my brand new tv!

    Hah We purchased this and Samsung sound bar they worked great. Ten months later screen starts going dark. Samsung refunded us But really 10 months ? Sound bar works great We were going to get another Samsung but ended up with lg 82 for same price

    I wanted to love this television and for the price, I feel like I should be able to enjoy it...Two months old and there is a solid blue line down the entire screen. All over the internet there are other cases of this and seems to be a connection issue. AWESOME....

    Grey, Hazy Picture.

    The picture was grey and very hazy. Terrible refections. There are debates online about whether or not there is a protective covering which may, or may not, be removable. I could not find anybody in our local stores that knew about the online debate. But there were many people online saying "don't try to remove the covering. If you mess it up, the stores and Samsung won't cover the warranty." I decided to return the 8 series TV and bought the Q80 which is awesome. I made the right choice spending more, and getting a super awesome TV.

    I bought this tv in May and it has already malfunctioned with screen religion, random black lines across the screen, and most recently will not turn on

    Was a great TV until the screen went black one day. Got a full 6 months of use out of it. It’s still under warranty but I don’t live where Samsung has any service providers so it appears I’m sol. Every time I call they make a new repair service number for me and state there is no service provider in my area but “ someone “ should call me within 48 hours. That time goes by and we repeat this process. I have a 75” paperweight now. Stay far away!

    I got a random purple cross on the top corner after only a year, no one touched it and it was very well taken care of.

    Great, until less than two years after purchase a black line appears across the screen, goes away and then appears a purple blob. Many forums online about this, apparently Samsung does not care and this blob has not gone away, and according to the forums more will appear. Love that. No magnets have ever been near the tv, nor has anything been thrown at it.

    Please do not buy this TV. We bought this in July and by mid Dec, it stopped working. Called BB but they won't help. Then called Samsung and they said that it might be a software update glitch. They will be sending a technician in 5 days from the day of reporting. We did research about Samsung TVs and this seems to be a common problem. AVOID SAMSUNG!!!
