I was looking into buying a new tv and did ALOT of research. I probably looked at 20 different tvs with different models, sizes and brands and kept coming back to this one. I do alot of streaming movies music and tv shows and I play video games when im not at work. I am extremely impressed with the picture and quality of this tv i had my older tv next to it and had the same thing on both screens and what a world of a difference! The interface/smart part of the tv is very user friendly and is very easy to navigate and find what your looking for. I would have to say it is the best bang for your buck so to speak. Its not expensive but not cheap either and in my opinion yoy get the same quality of some of the higher end model without the steep price tag. Would definitely recommend this tv.

Hands down best tv I’ve ever purchased. Perfect picture, big, sleek, nice and bright colors. I wish they had a bigger one when I got this one but only to fill the entire wall of the fire place.

I’m a lifelong Sony TV customer

I have been pretty much a lifelong Sony TV customer and I’ve exclusively purchased Sony TVs for almost 3 decades way back to the Sony trinitron days. However, since 2010 I have purchased four Sony flatscreen TVs and two of them died within three years. I decided to make a change and could not have been more pleased with my Samsung Q70 75 inch TV. Keeping in mind that this is a newer TV, I do see a noticeable improvement in picture quality but especially with their menu system. Streaming services and applications are much quicker. I also love the simplicity of the remote control of the Samsung TVs. The only remaining question is durability and longevity and if this doesn’t fail me I will probably only buy Samsung TVs from this point on and say goodbye to Sony.

The picture is absolutely stunning! Everyone who has seen it has been blown away by the quality of the picture. They advertised only using an optical cable, but it does have all of usual connections, so there was no problem connecting it with my existing equipment. It comes with two pads (one on each side) to protect it while handling it; I recommend holding on to them in the event you ever have to move it. I also recommend some attachment to prevent it from tipping over, mine is "picture hanging style." You do not need much, but prevention is better than remedy. It was delivered and the two people that brought it in were on time, curious, pleasant, and I have never had better delivery people for anything. A great experience from start to finish!

Read all the specs before purchasing. A lot of marketing words with assumed terms. Biggest disappointment is the 120hz native panel and being a 4k TV but only having a hdmi 2.0 reducing 4k inputs to 60hz. Info not clearly explained. Also samsung doesn't support Dolby vision, just hdr10. Not all HDR is the same.. live and learn I guess.

Great TV, do wish I would have sprang for the Q80

Overall, this is a fantastic TV. The picture after calibration is fantastic! My only issue with the TV is the glare from the light in our living room. For that reason alone, I wish I would have paid the extra few hundred dollars for the Q80 and given up a little bit of contrast. I don't regret my purchase at all as I was coming from a 50" plasma tv, and this TV hit all the check boxes. I am not that impressed with the Q70T as it is not fully backlit as this version is, and I would recommend going with the Q80T as far as 2020 versions are concerned. Also, I thought the picture quality on this TV was better than the X950G, which I was directly comparing it to when I was deciding on my purchase.

I love my new tv. The picture and sound quality are top notch. I have had minor issues syncing my tv and cable remotes together, which I haven’t had problems with previous Samsungs in the past.

Originally purchased the Q70. Wanted to buy the Q80 as that has been rated as best all around for the money, in the Samsung line. The Q80 at the time was almost $1000 more for the same size. The only downside in the q70 was some shutter with fast moving images in HDR. Only noticed a handful of times but that is getting extremely nit-picky. The Q80 ended up going back on sale for the black Friday price for 48hrs, about a week after buying the Q70, for a couple hundred dollars more than the Q70. I ended up buying the Q80. The minor shutter in the fast moving images is gone. Q70, all around great TV. If you're deciding between an LG and Samsung, I prefer the Samsung.

I got this TV for a steal of a price, so much so that I'm not going to mention it in this review. The quality of this unit is incredible and the color depth is superb. This is also the first Smart TV that I've actually liked the UI and features. Especially since it has the Apple TV app. The processor in this TV is really fast and loads content quicker that most streaming devices I've used. It's for sure faster than any of the currently available Apple TVs. There's plenty of expert features to really tweak the picture to your ideal preference. The ability for it to recognize the devices plugged in and update accordingly is awesome too.

I got this primarily for gaming. The response times on the panel are great, smooth clear motion with little to no ghosting (you really have to be looking for it). The input latency is excellent and the gaming features are also wonderful. I confirmed freesync works with Xbox One X, it does not support NVidia's latest 'gsync compatible' feature however which is essentially their version of freesync. Works great as a computer monitor either way tho. 1440p 120hz works with a pc. Panel gets nice and bright for HDR. Speakers kind suck but that can be said for all tvs. Smart features are ok but I just don't use them.
