This my 2nd Samsung television and they make the best LED TV’s. However, I notice it keeps showing the same message about updated picture resolution. In addition, I notice it periodically loses network connection. Overall, it’s has a great resolution and brightness and the price is very reasonable.

This is a really good tv for the price point. If you are upgrading from an older smaller set. You’re gonna love it. I does suffer from some light bleed on darker scenes. For an edge lot tv that is to be expected. Overall very pleased.

I was looking for that perfectly contrasted, rich blacks, white balanced picture but this is not the case out of the box. These TVs are on the higher price side so I expected more. Compared to my cheap 2017 calibrated Samsung 4k 50in, it gets blown away. And to think that I will have to pay hundreds for calibration, I probably could have gotten more value with one of the cheaper brands. My friend's calibrated LG LED puts my QLED to shame. Don't get caught in the hype of QLED. Just save more and go for an OLED.

This tv is really nice with the cool features but after having it for about 10 months the backlights are starting to become a problem when watching a dark scene or when a movie/show has black boarders. Very distracting!

My wife recently decided we needed to upgrade to the new 75" Samsung QLED Q60R. Let me just say, boy was the wife right! (don't tell her I said that lol) This television is simply AMAZING! The clarity, the sharpness and brightness of the colors, the ease of use and set-up, all amazing. The TV arrived nicely packaged to protect from damage during shipment. Un-boxing and set-up was a breeze once we were able to get the QLED mounted above the fireplace. On screen instructions were easy to follow and within a few minutes we were up and running. The available apps make it super easy to set-up all our favorite streaming programs. Such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBOGo, just to name a few. Also connected our Xbox one S, which was super simple to do. Just hook a with an HDMI, turn on Game Mode, update the display settings on the gaming console, and you are gaming in full 4K. The display and resolution is beyond any expectations I could have had. Yes, the display is THAT awesome! If you are on the fence about upgrading to one of the amazing Samsung QLED TVs, do not hesitate. You will not regret it!

We had a very good TV prior to this, so I was encouraging him to return it, until we watched a movie on the new TV. I am extremely impressed at the picture clarity. I love the screen, it is very vibrant. Everything looks really beautiful on this TV. There is a browser functionality, and I was able to connect a keyboard and mouse, and I did shopping, how cool is that. And TV is very quick in switching apps, and changing channels. And youtube does not show buffering icon, its snappy. Overall, I love this TV. Oh, the most important aspect, the viewing angle of this TV is amazing. My kitchen is almost 45degree diagonal to the living room , where this TV is. From the kitchen, I can still see the TV crystal clear, though not as good as sitting right in front of it, but it's 100 times better than my current TV. So, we decided not to return this TV, but to sell our old one. I will surely recommend this TV family and friends. I am sure whoever buys it, will love it.

This year I've purchased countless Samsung TV's and had planned on purchasing another for myself on Black Friday. After reviewing several tvs I landed it on the Sony. The sony has a great smart tv operating system. The remote is alot easier to use and cleaner. The picture on the Sony is considerably more natural and defined. While the samsung has brighter colors, the sony has a better picture when compared to samsung. Growing up Sony was TV king, and based on this purchase they still are. Sony makes great products not necessarily throw away products like other brands.

75” Samsung Q60. I must give some background before I get to the performance of the Q60. I have a 65” Vizio M series TV from 2017 which is a very good TV but I see the 32 backlight zones far too much. I wanted a larger TV and I wanted to stop seeing the zones. When I say I see the zones there are two different ways they make themselves visible to me, most people won’t even see what I going to describe. In dark scenes that pan I see each zone brighten and dim which exactly why they are there in the first place, but they are large and it’s distracting. They are large because there are only 32 of them. There are TVs with hundreds of zones which should eliminate or greatly reduce this affect. The other issue is that in scenes with gray to white background I see the physical structure of the zones as faint lines around each one when the picture pans. So, I went to Best Buy to look at OLED and others. OLED has the best possible picture right now but in my opinion, it also has issues such as the insane price and other things I won’t go into. I did purchase a 77” OLED but canceled prior to delivery. I walked around the store with a salesman and looked at the other TVs from Samsung and Sony and I could see the structure of the zones in all but the OLEDs and edge lit LED TVs. Well I settled on the Q60 because it is edge lit and has quantum dot technology. I see no structure of zones, or zones flashing in dark panning scenes because it has no zones. Well because it has no backlight zones the contrast is not nearly as good as TVs that do, of course that’s why they use zones. But this less than stellar contrast is really only noticeable in dark scenes. Other than that, the Q60 is excellent with regard to picture quality. Normal TV looks fabulous and so do movies till we get to really dark scenes. You can turn the brightness down but then it crushes the dark details like in a dark suit ect. Black bars in 2.35 aspect ratio movies are dark gray, but no worse than my old DLP. The auto input detection drove me crazy till I found a post online that told me how to stop it, I almost returned the TV. I use a universal remote with macros to change inputs on the TV as well as a sound system and a processor. When I turned the TV on after being shut off overnight, it didn’t recognize connected devices that were not powered on and that messed up my macros. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV, great picture quality for the most part and fairly easy to use at a great price, about a third the cost of the OLED. I do miss the simple menus on the Vizio, because the Q60 fills the screen at first when accessing picture controls. The Vizio was a ribbon on the left side of the screen and was less obstructing, but the Vizio would not allow simple macros to work so that’s a plus for Samsung after you stop the auto input detection. You may ask why I didn’t get a Vizio Quantum X with 480 zones, well I read a post where someone has one and they were complaining about the flashing of the zones, even though they are smaller it is very distracting. They attached a video so I could see it myself and it was unacceptable to me. I highly recommend the Q60 if perfect blacks are less important to you than flashing zones and visible structure, but as I said most folks won’t notice that stuff and they may like the darker blacks on the other TVs.
