Not as good I thought

I have had three other Samsung tvs and their picture has been excellent... this one, took home... have hi-def Xfinity and hi-def DirecTV with 4k.... the picture Out of the box was pretty bad... almost an unwatchable green tint... no matter what settings I adjusted.... it was never a good picture. After going to YouTube I was able to copy good calibration settings for this model.... pretty drastic changes in the white balance... but still it is not a kind of picture I would expect on a $1500 tv... the 120 refresh rate still doesn’t keep up with the action in football... and the 4k is dark, not defined and does not wow at all... definitely not the same quality picture I saw in the store... it doesn’t meet the detail of my recently purchased $319 55” Toshiba tv in our bedroom... unfortunately I will be exchanging this tv

I m sorry to hear that you are not happy with the picture quality of your Q60R TV.
The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the sharpness.
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Adjust the cable box or satellite box's video output resolution to 1080i.
4) Look for a channel that is broadcasting native HD content. For over the air/cable antenna connection, try these steps to find HD channels: Go to Menu>Settings> Broadcasting> Auto Program

Love the TV. Have not learned a number of the features, streaming, etc. yet. Best Buy KIssimmee did a great job of curb pickup. Well organized and employees were very helpful Did not take 15 minudtes.
