Bad panel

Called Samsung sent a technician out with technician stating it was a bad panel with Samsung being aware of issue with current model. Due to warranty expiring and us not purchasing extended warranty we are left with a huge television $1,600 that does not work .

The 1st set was damaged on bottom at the pedestal base, poorly constructed. The set only has three HDMI ports, and the third is poorly marked/inaessable. The remote is typical of Samsung, poorly designed and to small for the needed features, it should be redesigned for all products. I would not recommend this set at the manufacturer's suggested retail price, I purchased at the current Holiday Pricing.

One week and a day later, there is a white spot on the bottom left of the screen as well as a faint black stripe emanating up from that. After researching this issue online, it seems like a common problem that requires taking the TV apart. Unacceptable. Very disappointed in this TV and undecided whether I should return, replace or repair. It was delivered to my house and now I can only bring it back to a store. It doesn't seem like Best Buy will pick it up. In order for me to bring it back, I will need to find a vehicle, which will probably cost money to do so.
