Worked great for 1 year. Had 5 tech calls and replaced multiple parts then they said the panel was dead. Had received a one time warranty extension but they closed that ticket before it was repaired (still working thru that one). Not another Samsung for me!

I upgraded to the Samsung 77” S95D from a LG UHD 4K and I can honestly say this is on a whole different level. The picture quality is absolutely jaw-dropping. Colors are vibrant, blacks are truly black, and HDR content pops off the screen with cinematic brightness and contrast. But the real star feature? The glare-free screen. My living room gets a lot of natural sunlight, and every TV I’ve had before would suffer from annoying reflections during the day. Not this one. The matte OLED screen cuts down glare so well, I can finally watch movies or play games without closing the curtains. It’s a game-changer. The design is sleek and modern, super thin, and the One Connect box makes cable management clean and easy. Setup was straightforward, though the stand can be a bit tricky to align—I’d recommend mounting it if you can. The built-in speakers actually surprised me too—clear dialogue and decent bass even without a soundbar. For casual viewers, it’s more than enough. As a gamer, I really appreciate the low input lag, VRR, and 4K at 144Hz. Everything runs buttery smooth on my PS5 and Xbox Series X. Only small gripe is that it doesn’t support Dolby Vision, but honestly, the picture is so good with HDR10+ that I don’t even miss it. Bottom line: If you want an OLED that looks stunning in bright rooms and delivers premium performance across movies, sports, and gaming, the S95D is absolutely worth it.

Upgraded from a 65" Amazon TV. The picture quality is soooo much better. The blacks are actually black, rather than pixelated black and gray. Very happy so far. Virtually no glare, even in a living room with lots of windows.

I was set on upgrading my LG CX OLED, but I wasn't sure between this S95D and the new LG G4. Since they are both brand new, no Best Buy location had them on display. So, I bought both to test them... Please note that this review is focused around using it for streaming and as a high-end PC monitor (RTX 4090, etc.). I didn't actually hook a game system up to it, but I assume that would be amazing. Anyway... the S95D came first, and I was really impressed with the way it looked and I love the little box where all the input plug into. That said, I found out that the box only supports HDMI 2.1 to 40gbps vs the full 48gbps. For most people, that won't matter. However, if you plan to use it with a PC for gaming, it 100% does matter. The lack of extra bandwidth limits what your PC video card can send to to the TV. For example, I was able to get it to 4k @ 144hz, but was stuck with 8bit color (vs being able to get it to 12-bit color with the G4). Some other interesting things to note, it was kind of a pain to actually get the TV to register as a PC monitor. In my case it wasn't just plug-and-play. When I did, I had to adjust a ton of settings to make it look nice. Again, not an issue if you're not using it for a PC monitor. The matte screen was cool. It definitely made the screen look a little weird at times, but overall I think the positives outweigh the negatives. Surprisingly, the brightness was not as high as I expected. It might have been because I didn't mess with enough of the settings or it might have been just the fact that I was using the PC mode. I'm not entirely sure. All I know for sure is that the G4 is so bright I have to adjust it (which it has settings for that are super easy to find). That leads me to my next point, though, that the settings menus/etc. are not very intuitive. Honestly, they were kind of a pain. Maybe I'm just spoiled with how awesome LG's webOS is, but it was pretty annoying to navigate. Overall, the S95D is a great set for most people. If it was going in my living room for TV and movies and gaming systems, I'd be super happy with it... but it's not. They really missed the mark with the reduced HDMI 2.1 inputs and their annoying OS UI. That said, I think I'd probably save some $$ and go with the S95C vs the D unless it was going into a super bright room where the matte screen would help. If you're going to use the screen as a PC monitor, I HIGHLY recommend you go with the G4. 8 bit vs 12bit color is HUGE. I'll be writing another review for that one later today.

Samsung S95D 77 in LED TV sets the new standard and brightness, and ultra black blacks. One single cable connects this television to all your devices, very simple to use remote control that solar rechargeable or USB rechargeable. Intuitive on screen display menus. UHD 4K videos are so crisp, detailed, depth of color is amazing. Better than the special effects in some movies.

This TV is the perfect size for the wall I have it on. The picture is just great with bright colors that are correct as well. The anti glare screen works much better than I expected. There is no glare from our large windows from any angle. And you can see the picture from the side very well, too.

The picture is incredible! The black is a true black, and the colors are vibrant and realistic. Hands down the best picture on a TV I have ever had. Another huge plus for this tv is the nearly zero glair coming off of it. We have our TV in a living room with a lot of windows, and the glare was always an annoyance on our old TV. Glares are no longer an issue, and we can enjoy TV at all hours of the day. Highly recommend! The only reason I was tempted to give it less than 5-stars is that when we watch Netflix, there is a white line that flashes across the screen. Given the price point, I assume this is unusual for this TV, so I am in communication with the Geek Squad, who has been wonderful, to swap this out for a new one. I fully anticipate there will be no issues with the new one.

We are loving our 77" Samsung OLED TV. The picture quality is outstanding. We do find it was difficult to navigate and integrate our Fire Stick. We just always seem to run into an issue navigating. We prefer watching on Fire Stick. It's just a better navigation tool and the fast forward and rewind within a program is much better than Samsung's. Oh, it's very bright, no need to buy a Qled for that reason. The color is so much better in the OLED! The mat screen is incomparable!! Absolutely no reflections from lamps or bright windows!

The Samsung S95D is easily the best 77" TV on the market today. Let me simply highlight the pros and cons. Pros: Matt screen is ideal for bright rooms and takes nothing away from the picture quality Stunning picture quality with deep blacks and vibrant colors High peak brightness for an OLED TV Excellent gaming performance with low input lag Sleek, minimalist design Cons: Audio quality is not the best but with an added S990D soundbar, it is exceptional. No Dolby Vision support - perhaps not necessary

The colors are sharp and I love the anti-glare finish because I have a lot of daylight in my space. The design is sleek as well.

Received excellent guidance from Eric and Brandon. Felt like I received good service with minimal annoying upselling. Needed a TV that looked good despite being in a bright room. use it just as a monitor. Separate system provides sound and streaming. Feels like a nice balance between size and price. Previous TV was 65 inches.
