Great while it lasted

I will say some of the dark scenes did not do very well on this TV, sometimes looking very pixelated, even after THX calibration. This was on 1080p sources. Native 4K content looked phenomenal though. The main reason I'm writing this review is because now there's a horizontal line that spans the width of the TV. It's maybe 1mm in height but is very noticeable. The TV is out of warranty and I did not get the Best Buy warranty. Opened a service ticket with Samsung. They did offer to cover parts and labor, which was nice, BUT there are no service centers in the state for TVs of this size. So, they closed the ticket out by saying that I would have to take it to a repair shop and eat the cost. Just over a year, and it already has an issue. Look it up, other people have had the same issues. Problem is, with a TV this size, I can't just throw it in my car to take it to get fixed. I'd have to rent a van to take it somewhere with the hope that it can be repaired. For $2K, it's unacceptable that this has happened.
