I googled the problem and have found out that its a problem samsung has had and seems to be blaming vudu for the issue but I do not have this issue on any of my other smart tvs with vudu so I would have to believe this is an issue with samsung not vudu.

We have released a firmware update to address the sound cutout issue with Vudu app.
Your TV should have been automatically uploaded.
If your TV is not updated with this latest version, you can activate the update with these steps:
TV Menu : Settings ->Support -> Software Update -> Update Now

It's 82in in thee air.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always said I wanted a 82 inch TV now I wish that it had more features by being Samsung and by being the 2018 model I believe it should have way more features and functions than it has so kind of let down on that part I'm probably going to get the protection plan on it but I don't know.

Decent picture but does exhibit flashlighting

Bad TV

Sometime WiFi signal work, but when you turn TV off, then turn on again you need to re-setup. Until I gave up and watch cabble TV. So all your payment for HBO, Hulu, Nextfix didn't worth. It's so sad when I spent too much money for It . I read a lot of same my trouble with this Tv , I wishes I didn't pay 3958,96 for this TV

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. I am very sorry that you are having some Wi-Fi connection issues.
Please know that the location of your wireless router or modem will affect your signal strength. Please place your router in a central location ensuring the distance between the TV and your router does not exceed 50ft. (15.2m). Interference from other wireless devices, stone walls, and appliances like microwaves could possibly weaken Wi-Fi signal.
You may want to run a Smart Hub Connection test by going to Home > Settings > Support > Self-diagnosis > Signal information.

Disappointed

Samsung couldn't find a local service center after a week so setup a store credit which took over two weeks. This was to replace my previous 65” curved samsung that needed a replacement panel after only 12 months and a week out of warranty... Replacing with a Sony

A $2000 product should not have a problem after a year.

Awesome Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my 70" VIZIO to the Samsung - 82" Class - LED - NU8000 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR. I'm not high speed or high tech so I can't pour out the technical spec differences as such; there is a noticeable advancement in the picture quality and audio. The colors are more vibrant and some scenes actually look like it's coming out of the TV, sort of a 3D effect (Note: using 4K Blu-ray DVD's). My set was pretty simple; I purchased an Xbox One S 1TB with 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray over a regular 4K DVD player. You get the same 4K experience and can do more with the Xbox for approximately the same price. The HDMI cable, I purchased AudioQuest - Sky 12' 4K Ultra HD HDMI Cable - Black with blue accents. In a nut shell, I love the set up I have and no regrets purchasing this TV or the extra accessories needed, allowing me to experience the awesome picture quality in 4K. I can't wait till I hit my 200hrs of viewing so I can get it calibrated. Of course the Best Buy Geek Squad was amazing, I love these guys!!!!
