TV was a great size and the sale was great. Unfortunately it seems as though the one I had was defective because the picture was terrible and fuzzy. Returned for a QLED 75.

I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy phone, so I decided to give this TV a try since it is designed to pair well with my phone, and I'm so glad I did! This TV offers an amazing experience when using my phone as I can not only set up the TV with it, but also view what's on my TV on my phone and vice versa using screen mirroring! The picture quality is crisp and clean, this is one of the best sets for playing video games, comes with a simple to use universal remote control, and is easy to setup as it automatically recognizes and labels the input for whatever you hook up to it with HDMI! Having said all that, however, this TV is not without its faults. As a few other reviews have stated, when my TV got delivered, I noticed a bright white vertical streak of light near the middle of the screen that was extremely distracting when watching content that shows a plain background . I had that unit exchanged and the 2nd one had the same issue! I had to go through yet another exchange and my 3rd TV finally looks better and has no white streak in the middle that I can see. Samsung quality control should be better in my opinion. Despite the issues I encountered on 2 of the sets, I still give it a FIVE STAR rating, because there is simply nothing else on the market that gives you this much screen size, quality, and features at this price!

Just got this tv this weekend it has a great picture and when u hook up components to it the tv automatically finds them, I got 4 things hooked to it and toggle between them with tv remote. Best picture I've seen on tv. The 4k movies are crisp, like looking thru a glass window, no ghosting on sports Samsung is the best tv period. My 7th samsung.

Upgraded my samsung 65 to this, and moved the 65 to the bedroom. It's a wonderful piece of work. I couldn't get the app to work on my lg cell, so I couldn't use the wall paper pic app with the TV. You're supposed to be able to take a picture, and upload it to the tv. This gives the TV an artistic forte when your'e not watching it. Sort of turns it into artwork, instead of a big black screen hanging on your wall. I emailed Samsung, and the response was "we'll get back to you" The sound needs a sound bar, and sub. The flat screen design pretty much kills room for decent speakers. I knew that going in and purchased a JBL - 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with 10" Wireless Subwoofer. Awesome essential. I am overall pleased with the TV, and its other capabilities. Streaming, voice recognition, self integration to service ie comcast, and easy set up. Last but not least the picture, colors, and motion smoothness are all stunning.

Fantastic set. pic blows away others at this price point. Thought 82 would be too big but it’s perfect. Just under 2k was a amazing price. Would definitely recommend and I’m super picky. This set is as close to oled without the huge price.

I have only had this tv for a couple of days. I am having a lot of eye strain. I sit about 10 ft away from it. Within a few minutes I have a headache. The last tv I had was a 75 inch 4k Sony. No eye strain issues. I also still have a 65 inch 4k Phillips. Honestly, I don’t see any difference in any of the picture quality of any of them. All of the 4k tvs I have look about the same as far as picture quality goes. The sound quality if fine, no issues that some other people are reporting with sound. My only issue is eye strain, but this is a big issue. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue. If so, does it get better?

had a less than 2 year old 75" Sony w/full array backlight that failed on me (glad i got the xtended warranty). The repair tech said to stay away from Sony, their panels are failing left and right. The warranty company wouldnt cover the price of the full array Samsung QLEDs so I went with this one. Good HDR and color performance but of course, since this TV is edge lit, it cant compare to the pic quality of a full array unit and Sony's upconverting processor; namely blooming issues in dark scenes and upscaling less than 1080p content. Other than that, good replacement. I would have given it 5 stars if I hadnt been spoiled with my last Sony.

Well I decided to purchase this 82 inch over the 82 in Q6. So glad I did! Did side by side comparison and couldn't tell any difference. Did not justify the extra Money! This TV is awesome with a incredible picture and looks amazing mounted on my wall! Boxing and football have never been this awesome!! Very happy with this purchase!!!!

After returning the first 2 TVs delivered, the 3rd one finally worked out. Best Buy was great with their price matching guarantee. I only went for this TV, because of the great price I got for this size of a TV. Unfortunately, the first 2 TVs had a white shadow image in the center of the screen whenever a very light picture was being presented. Odd that they both had same issue. Fortunately, Best Buy had no issues with either return. So far the 3rd TV is working out, but beware of the white shadow image in the center of the screen. Somewhat disappointed in Samsung's quality control. Got really adept at mounting this TV onto the mounting bracket. Hopefully 3rd time will be the charm.

Love this TV, amazing picture bright colors, nice deep blacks. :)

The TV is wonderful and sweet to behold moreso when hanging on the wall and can be swung in all directions.

I purchased this tv at a military NEX store. Positives are the TV is large and handles XBOX ONE S games really well. One issue I just started experiencing when using an APPLETV 4K, streaming Youtubetv, on HDMI input 2 is that the screen will randomly go black as if it’s refreshing and then it comes back on. I’ve tried 3 different HDMI 2.1 cables and still have the issue. I have not had the issue with XBOX ONE S connected to HDMI input 1. Has anyone else experienced this? I had issues with a previous Samsung big screen and switched to Sony and LG. This will likely be the last time I buy a Samsung.

Picture was not very bright. HDMI inputs went out continuously. Geek Squad saved the day many times and now they are replacing the tv.

This is a really great TV and i love it. But i have a slight problem. After every 30-35 second there is a small thin black line come for 2-3 seconds. I am not sure what is the problem. Mostly when i watch netflix, amazon and youtube. Please help if anyone know the issue. Thanks in advance

Husband bought it to go in the man cave (a little big for my taste ). He loves it and it is great during football season

Exceeded my expectations. Completely set up in just minutes. Did add a sound bar for better sound clarity.

a decent TV paying for the size more than anything else

TL;DR I've now had bright white spots in the middle of 2 of these that I picked up from BestBuy...not good. I have been holding out on replacing my 2013 70 inch Vizio looking for the right balance of performance and price. I found this 82 incher and thought it would be perfect. I ordered one, went and picked it up...brought it home and got it all setup only to find that there were 2 bright white spots in nearly the very center of the screen that were very noticeable and distracting. I decided to return it to Best Buy and get another one so I had to pack it all back up, bring it to the store, explain and show them the problem and then they ordered me a new one. A week later I went back to the store to pick up the new one, bring it home and set it up...and it has the same problem in nearly exactly the same spot except it was 1 bright white spot instead of 2! Not sure what's up with these or if I just have bad luck but I can't imagine keeping a brand new expensive TV with this sort of problem so looks like I might just need pack this one back up and return it...maybe get a different brand or go back to my old Vizio.
