I've only had this TV for a couple of weeks. Overall I love it. GOOD -It is instant on. My previous Sharp 60 inch would take a couple of minutes before the picture and sound came on. -I have Netflix and the Netflix app on this TV is excellent. I have not tried any other apps. -I have my receiver connected via HDMI. When I turn it on the sound automatically switches to the receiver. When I turn it off the sound switches back to the TV's internal speakers. -Voice recognition seems to work well for changing channels and navigation. NOT SO GOOD -The TV remote connects via Bluetooth. If you have a programmable remote as I did it will not work. No programmable remotes can operate this TV at this time. -The TV can only support one remote at a time so a second remote will not work. I did purchase another one as a backup since no other remotes will work with this TV. -The TV can detect connected devices. It detected my Onkyo receiver and Sony BD player. It did not recognize my Channel Master DVR. You can manually add devices but the built in list to choose from is very limited. -Manually channel input is clunky

The display on this TV has incredible colors and clarity. The smart features on the TV are decent.

Easy to setup. Nice picture. Bluetooth Samsung sound bar/surround a bit of a challenge to configure.

Love it. We first purchased Sony 85" TV but later replaced it with Samsung and have been happy ever since 2019. Everthing in this TV like colors, sound, picture quality, controls are excellent. I am in love with this TV and would definitely recommend it.

This is a nice tv for large area. Color and display is very good with good contrast

This is my first TV over 70" and wow, 82" is a lot more screen than 70". Watching HD programming on this size is great, but the SD programming gets shrunken down with large black boarders around the edges to preserve picture quality I suppose. Watching 4K Ulra HD content is amazing on this TV.

The tv has the best picture. Picture is clear and colors are bright and crisp.

82” of glory. Love it! Be sure to get it professionally mounted if you go with the big ones because they are beastly. I recommend the sanus full motion mount with so you have some mobility. Bright picture, good quality, awesome TV!

I'm a loving my new 82 inch samsung tv, I have a 65 inch 3D tv, that I thought I'd never replace. I will admit the picture & sound is not as superb as my 65 inch, I may have to eventually by a sound bar for this tv. But all in all a great tv for a great price !

The size of this thing is impressive. The interactive Home button of this TV makes it very easy to navigate between devices. Instead of an input button, it has the home button. I recommended buying the Smart Things hub too if your home in on the smart home side.

Obviously the size is great! Samsung’s quality is amazing!

This is th largest screen TV we have ever owned, but have really enjoys it for movies and sports. The sound quality from the speakers is surprisingly good. Image quality and colors are superb.

Great tv was in the magnolia section before the Q series came out, so you know you’re getting a great TV. The size is Great as well as the picture quality, plus the Best Buy financing option with their credit card and 0% is a win win situation.

Picked up the 8000 series 82 inch Samsung to finalize my home theater. This is an excellent TV and is fairly well adjustable for any personal preference. Only drawback is it's not well suited for light rooms. There is quite a bit of reflection.

Was looking for a nice TV that wasnt going to break the bank the customer service associate recommends a handful of units and rather spending 10k on a TV that wasnt much different than this one besides less expensive it worked out perfect.

This TV blows folks away when they first see the "picture" it produces. My only problem is that it's almost like sitting in the front row of a movie theater; we had to move our sofa another two feet back from where it was with our smaller TV.

I'm absolutely in love with this tv. It's big it's right and it's super clear! You can see everything. The sound is also great. My friends thought I had the sound bar hooked up when I had the sound on amplify...you wont be disappointed!

Expensive, but worth it. Nice large tv, looks great.

I went with Samsung after remodeling my kitchen with Samsung appliances and have a Samsung uhd50” in my master bedroom .. picture is better that I thought it would’ve been. You don’t lose any detail with this awesome 82” size...

Used TV to replace digital projector for meetings and for business presentations. This is the 2nd we have purchased in 2 years. They have been outstanding. Bright vivid color that can display text and graphs and easily read accross the room.
