this is a big tv and it has a great picture and screen quality is perfect

Had it wall mounted and it's awesome! Love watching movies on it.

I have absolutely no complains about this or the 65 inch in its model.

Im sure that this is a good enough television but i did not purchase this and yet it is somehow in my purchase history. I am simply reviewing this based off of having similar Samsung televisions and having little to no issue with them and also to get points for writing a review. Best of luck to any television buyers out there.

From the picture to the features and the smart functions, the 82" Q90R is the finest LED TV money can buy, and with it on sale at Best Buy for $1000 off, you really need to grab it before it is gone. Stuck at home with Covid closing so much, cancelling vacations and cruises, in home entertainment takes the place of reality, and having a great system is paramount. While LG's OLED systems have gotten more of the attention, I find it difficult to ascertain the difference in video quality when the OLED and Q90R are side by side (and they were at Best Buy). The picture is absolutely stunning with amazing details, vibrant colors, black blacks, and excellent motion rate. Viewing is great from all angles. Also, this is the first "smart" TV that we've bought that truly is smart! The remote control is a work of art that truly does control the TV and all peripherals seamlessly (Roku, 4K Blu Ray, Pioneer home theater). The set up for apps through the TV itself is easy and the alignment of apps at the bottom of the screen makes changing channels or sources a breeze. The television also learns your most "go-to" channels of sources and lists then right above the app bar so you can quickly go to what you want. And, unike past models, it offers full web browsing. The HDR10+ feature makes 4K (and even HD) content come alive and when paired with a good home theater, the Q90R cranks out theater quality sound with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, and of course, 5.1 The initial set up was a bit complicated, but the Best Buy Geek Squad spent about 90 minutes getting everything up and running. They were truly amazing, discovering hidden settings in the Pioneer receiver that opened up the audio stream so Atmos worked perfectly. I can't say enough about Best Buy, the Geek Squad, and the Q90R. We were suppose to go an an Alaska cruise this summer ... like other travels, it got cancelled ... so the 82" Samsung Q90R is our cruise ... and since we can't be on a ship or in Alaska this summer, the next best thing is watching 4K videos of the Alaska wilderness on this TV. One note of caution ... Samsung discontinued the Q90R 82" for its 2020 models. If you read other reviews, you will see there is outrage that Samsung replaced it with a different model lacking some of the features in the 2019 model. The overall consensus ... the 2019 is superior in many ways to the newer 2020. As of August, 2020, Best Buy still had the 2019's in stock, but I imagine that won't be for much longer.

I bought this for my spouse. It was hung before our cable was installed. We have called BestBuy 5 times trying to get someone to come out and deal with a couple of issues. The Geek Squad said they have no one who is able to do anything with this TV. Finally someone on the phone made me an appointment and they did not show. So now I have a invested $6500 for naught!

Was expecting a little better picture quality for a $4500 tv. I’d go with a c9 oled or an q70.

Installers suck! Never got TV cancelled. Could not get store to answer phone.

Bought tv because of the one connect cable and and the location was going to be over 16ft so I was told by geek squad to order the 49ft cable. Samsung has not released the 2019 cable yet for the one connect was the only reason I bought the tv so felt misled.

Tv seems good but after a week a horizontal line showed up. Everything about it’s features are great.

I have always loved audio and video, I have had big screens, flat screens, and projectors for 20+ years. Samsung killed it on the Q90, I moved up from a 70" Sharp I bought 7 years ago, and Wow the picture is flat out the best I have had. Even on regular 1080 news brodcast the picture is so vibrant and clear, 4K video is unreal looking. I love the TV easy to use once you adapt, the only real draw back is the control box it comes with. The sales guy did not inform me about it. Install took little longer I had to hide box and the one new cable. All in all excellent TV I hope it last my family for years.

Interesting. Saw my friends lastnight.. I've wanted a magnolia type telly. This one is just the one super expensive but YOLO!

Pretty simple, TV was delivered by Best Buy, upon the delivery guys taking the TV out of the box, there were no base screws to be found anywhere, all 8 screws were missing. So, they took the TV back with them. I know people have bigger problems but it is pretty disappointing that a $6000 TV would come without some of the most important hardware.
