Dude, hung this on the wall and it is totally flexing inward at both top corners. This is NOT A CURVED screen TV. Scared it is going to implode on itself.

I bought the Samsung 85" Class CU8000 to give to my sister for her birthday. Her birthday is in May, but I am not a last-minute person, so I decided to start early. I did a thorough research on the best 85" I could get for what I had budgeted. This is a very good time to get a good smart tv for any budget because there are so many quality choices to be made. I had decided to purchase a lower model Samsung which had good professional and customer reviews. I called my sister to let her know what I was going to purchase for her, but as I was about to put in the order at Best Buy that night, I discovered that the 85" CU8000 was on sale with about 4 hours remaining before the sale ended. I quickly searched the reviews for it and discovered that it was one of the best smart tv in its class. I took the timing of the sale as God's grace and immediately put in the order. I also purchased a 2-year coverage from Geek Squad which is probably the best electronic service for any box store. The CU8000 arrived at my sister's house in less than a week via free delivery. My sister is very pleased with the quality of the picture and the build. She commented that it greatly enhanced her TV experience. What was great is that I contacted Best Buy to transfer responsibility to my sister for any inquiries and services she may need, including technical support, if needed, from Geek Squad; and they obliged with no fuss. I am very pleased with the whole experience that Best Buy provided.

This Samsung 85" CU8000 4K tv has an awesome picture! The thin design looks great on the wall. It is definitely heavy and requires 2 people to lift it onto the mount. Love it!

Was between Q60C and this one, and this was definitely the right call. If you paid for high definition, treat yourself with this TV. It was not overwhelmingly heavy, so with two people you can mount it. Old mounts from 2013 still work (IFYYK) for this weight. Easy to install your apps, sound is great if you don't have a sound bar, and easy to sign in to your apps/switch apps. If you're second guessing yourself and you think this might be over the cost that you intended, get it!

Fantastic tv. Software is fine. Picture is great for movies and shows. YouTube tv doesn’t look the greatest streaming sports and live events wish it looked more clear instead of cartoonish. Mainly use the tv for Madden, CoD, NCAA 25, and R6S(occasionally) but zero complaints on the gaming aspect. I can’t speak on the tv speakers mines been hooked up to the sound bar from day one so I haven’t actually heard the built in speakers.

Installing this TV is a breeze. The size is awesome. Colors, blacks, contrast, and sharpness is so vivid. The sound from the TV is mediocre which is understandable, coming from a smaller speaker. When sound is hooked on a home theater speakers, it felt like in the movie houses. The functionality of the apps has a little bit of a learning curve needed. The remote control is small and sleek with an option of charging with USB-c or solar. Over all it is a TV that is on the higher level. I would definitely recommend it.

This Samsung tv is an excellent with Crisp, clear color, great sound, and very convenient features, such as the built-in Alexa. I would highly recommend this tv! Don’t hesitate to purchase this specific model if you are unsure about its performance. It’s an awesome tv that truly delivers on all levels. The size is amazing!!! The picture is clear and the colors are brilliant.

Amazing quality, clarity, and performance for a great price. We upgraded from an LG OLED TV and worries this would not be as clear or responsive. Well, we were wrong, this TV performed every bit as good as the OLED and was just as clear on both dark and light scenes. Only thing I wish was that an option existed for a Roku TV embedded as the OS, but that’s solved with an external dongle.
