We had a 65" Samsung LED TV and were pretty happy with it, but we upgraded to this 85" and... wow. It's SO nice. We went with the Q80T series because it's got the better localized black/dimming tech in it, and you can definitely see the difference. It does take a bit of time to tune all the settings to your liking. There's a lot this thing does, some of which may not be what you want. For example, there's an auto-volume feature which supposedly figures out how loud each video source is and adjusts the volume so you don't have to turn it up and down yourself. We found that in watching YouTube videos one video would be really quiet and the next would be super loud; and sometimes in the middle of a video it's switch from quiet to loud and back. We had to turn that feature off, but I didn't even know it existed so there was a day of frustration figuring it out. Give it a bit, take the time to dial it in. It's amazing.

The setup was good had issues with setting up but it was more to do with the stuff being connected to it. I set it up by myself, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVE HELP SETTING THIS UP! It is very bulky and awkward. But all that aside. Once it is set up the picture is amazing. This is the first tv in a long time that actually you could get away without having a sound bar if you don’t want to spend the money. I only bought a new one bc I was having issues with my old sound bar and Best Buy was running a package deal and the Black Friday prices drop the price significantly. Overall great tv less user friendly than most models I have you need to play around with the picture settings. And I have not seen reviews or anything about this but the picture turns right on like most tv’s but it takes a surprising amount of time to turn off.

Great TV. I initially bought the Sony and then took it back to the store and exchanged with the Samsung. picture quality is very sharp , it's a bit expensive , but good buy on the long run. Great tv in well light area

The television is amazing. The picture is sharp and crystal clear. The set up was very easy. We just let the processor do the work and so far it has been great. I was setting up a new Denon AVR at the same time as this TV and there was a bit of a tug between the WiFis... but all is good now. I wish I could have given a 4.5 or 4.75 rather than a 5 just because of the stand.... That is a LOT of TV for a single point center stand. I would have preferred a pair of legs/stand on the "edges" of the tv... small complaint, but I think the TV would have been more stable with a different stand set up

I bought this TV primarily to enjoy football games during the pandemic. The brilliance and color as well as definition is outstanding. I was please at the ease of integrating it with other home theater devices.

Wow. I am blown away by the picture quality. I have a few Samsung Q TVs in the house, but nothing this big. Ease of use is consistent with other Samsung TVs; top notch. And picture is phenomenal.

I was very happy with this TV untill it broke after only 4.5 years!!! The repair required, a full panel replacement, was quoted as approximately $1,700.00 I have been loyal to Samsung TVs for close to 20 years, but this experience leaves me looking at other manufacturers.

This TV is awesome. The picture is really nice after tweaking it a bit. Has a lot of different modes that work nicely and a lot of apps already installed that are easy to get to. Tv is very easy to use.

this is a great tv!! im going to buy another one.. very easy to use. and its voice controlled.. great picture but a sound bar is a must. or surround sound..

Great TV, picture quality, design, ease of setup and use. Disappointed with your rewards program. I was sent multiple awards with multiple denominations. I learned that each purchase must match denomination, or you lose the balance. Not good.

I started looking for a TV to replace my 10 year old TV 2 years ago. It's not easy choosing a new TV, especially so because my specific requirements. I wanted 4K, duh, and a 75+ inch screen. I wanted deep blacks and warm color. I looked high and low across brands and models. One day I stumbled n the Samsung Q80T, 2020 model, which Best Buy had on sale. It had it all, at a reasonable price. Made the purchase that same day. Best Buy delivered and did basic setup. I thought getting the perfect picture would require endless tweaking of setting I don't completely understand. Nope, changed the default mode and 2 or 3 other settings and it was perfect!

I do not know if I could be any happier with this TV! It is, indeed, excellent!! I bought it specifically to play PS5 games and wow!! Two thumbs up!!

So far it's been a good TV. Picture is great and the menu is easy to navigate. As usual, the instructions are a little vague at times and they use a bunch of technical acronyms that don't mean anything. Have to research what those mean and choose what settings might be best. The stand for it was a pain as one of the screw holes stripped out right away. So, it's missing one screw. Not worth loading this monster up and taking it back and waiting for a new one. At least not to me. All in all, I'm glad I bought it. Got it at a discount due to holiday sales. I wouldn't have paid MSRP for this TV, however.

Very bright, sharp, and responsive TV. The sound isn’t bad. It is about all you could ask for in speakers built in to such a thin TV.

This thing is a monster. Love the picture and looks great on the wall. Fast recovery so action scenes are flawless. Did tweak some of the xolors but that is a persknal taste thing. Easy set up and has built in streaming that we use all the rime such as Netflix hulu peacoxk..Remote is a little lacking and will most likely replace in the future. Wish it has been more like our LG television remote. At the open box price this was a steal.

Great TV, RICH COLOR, easy to use and set up. All the options work great. Internet hooked up with no problems.

I would have given it 5 stars except for the stand. It is an 85-inch TV, but the stand is inadequate for the size. The television wobbles every time the TV or the stand is gently "bumped" of moved. I wish the stand is like that of other huge TVs - one on the left and one on the right side.

Great tv bought it about 2 years ago and haven't had any issues with it

It was time to upgrade my TV and I always like Samsung as they make great TVs at a good price. This was on sale for $2999.00 a discount of $800.00. It has a beautiful picture and watching 4K on this set is amazing. It is a smart TV and I only use a little bit of all of the functions that it can do. I did go on line to find out how to set best picture settings but it does boil down to personal preference. Buy it on sale if you can.

The TV has excellent picture quality for it's size color is fresh voice control system is good.
