Have an ASUS ROG. hard drive failed and needed a replacement. Took a couple minutes to replace, but when I booted (post re-installing) it went from hitting the power button to on in a few seconds versus minutes (several). Have other issues with the ROG, but the SDD makes it tolerable.

I was looking for an ultra reliable internal SSD, and the Samsung 850 EVO 250GB did not disappoint. It has performed rock solid since install, not to mention it is a very fast drive and was super easy to get up and running. Five stars all the way - this is a great SSD!

Samsung is still the top SSD manufacturer, and I would not buy any other brand. Used this beauty to improve the performance of a 6 year old MacBook Pro. Easy setup, and wow what a difference an SSD makes in performance. If you are going to buy an SSD, always go with Samsung.

I have used these drives in about 15 machines (laptops and desktops) and they are phenomenal in all of them. It is, of course, better if they have the updated SATA 6gig, but still works quite well with the older interface.

I had heard how fast ssd drives were but it works faster than I expected. I have a 6 year old Asus notebook and it works better now than when I bought it. Sure use the spinning hard drive for data but put this bad boy as your main drive and quit waiting on your machine.

You know for a long time i have been skeptical about SSDs. I have a few different Samsung SSDs, and all have been rock solid so far. Gotta love it. Samsung makes memory, and that is pretty much was a SSD is...pick one up. You wont be disappointed. If you are..not my fault....

I work with computers and I started to use this as replacement drives for clients and friends. I have a PNY and a Crucial SSD in my own rig and this samsung blows them out of the water. It's fast! I'm swapping mine out for one of these bad boys real soon.

Samsung makes an awesome drive. I've used several of these now and they are super fast. They can really bring life back to an older computer.

I have use these drives in several of my computers and laptops to replace the older spinning drives. They provide great performance increase overall. I'm very happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to improve an older computer.

samsung drives are well regarded for their throughput. Others may be cheaper but independent tests find their speed to be much less. I found the Samsung Magician software did help with speed. I didnt use it for cloning tho. Used Minitool partition wizard instead.

The Samsung SSDs are great devices. I've purchased several so far and been thrilled with every one. I highly recommend these. You can get other brands a little cheaper, but the small difference in price is well justified by great performance and reliability.

There is nothing sweeter than rebooting your PC and having it ready in under a minute. Games load faster, software installs quicker, and you just sit there in awe. An SSD is the smartest move ever and Samsung EVO's are some the highest rated drives on the market.

Bought this hard drive to replace a 5400rpm drive on my mom's laptop. I expected it to be a big upgrade in terms of speed and read the other reviews stating a night and day difference, but I was still surprised by how much faster it made the computer run.

Replaced an old SSD drive that came with a Dell laptop and noticed an improvement in overall speed. It did not come with a sata to usb cable but did include software to mirror new drive with old. Installation was simple and so far has performed very well.

This new 850EVO replaces another brand of SSD. AllI can say is WOW! This new SSD is much faster than the other one I had in my desktop. Windows 10 LOVES this new Drive. I highly recommend this Samsung 850 EVO to anyone who wants the latest and greatest.

I cannot begin to tell you how wickedly fast this Samsung solid state hard drive is! It literally takes less than 20 seconds for my laptop to boot up to my desktop! For a really affordable price, I will get another 6 or 8 years out of the laptop that I truly love!

Upgrading from a mechanical hard drive to this SSD significantly improved the speed of my computer. It boots up in a fraction of the time and applications open instantly. Unless you need a lot of hard drive space I would recommend an SSD upgrade to anyone.

Not much has to be said about this SSD, this a great quality product for a decent price.

Added this Samsung drive to an older i7 laptop and wow... what a difference in speed. Now this backtop laptop has been getting more action in recent days. DId my research on Samsung and feel comfortable that this drive will holdup over time.
