Plenty fast and quiet. Could be that other SSDs are a better value right now because you can get performance which is hard to distinguish for good amount cheaper, but I wanted something that has a longer warranty and known reliability, so I'm happy with my purchase so far!

Install was a breeze (instructions on youtube) and this hard drive totally sped up my old mac. Highly recommended.

This is a MUST HAVE addition to your computer to increase performance of you current or older machine. Although I was using an excellent platter drive for its time in my machine, the Samsung 850 EVO Solid State Drive (SSD) increased the performance from 25 reads / 31 writes to 284 reads / 272 writes in an older machine. My newer machine clocked in with 550 reads / 550 writes. Amazing performance difference. The Samsung migration software that comes with the SSD also makes it a very easy process to move your root drive OS, programs, and data from your old drive to the new SSD. Cloning your drive was amazingly fast and intuitive.

For $100 you can't beat the reliability and speed of these hard drives. Even though I had a 1 TB come with it switching to this smaller type blows away the boot up time, page loading etc, and not as easy to break as what comes with it, although great HD if your not networking a take down of China or something, lol.

SAMSUNG done it again, this is a lightning fast SSD my device boots with in 10 Seconds (Without a password) and response is just amazing there's plenty of capacites but 250 was just enough for me considering i use it only as the Boot drive and maybe a slow/struggling game in it and it really fastens the loading times and probably faster by 2 or 1 FPS I also have Nvme 960 Evo and i really find no speed difference between them both are super fast

The solid state drive has enhanced the speed of my laptop. The geek squad installed it and performance has been great.

Seamless transfer, cloning, installation. My laptop runs noticeably faster now. My only regret is not getting the 500gb.

Samsung has always been a reliable with their ssd's. I got 4 of them. Best investment to speed up your computer

This new Samsung EVO SSD made my MAC MINI run fast the. It has ever ran before. I used to have to turn to Mac. On and it it take a dew minutes, maybe 3-5 until it was ready for use, but now I turn it on and it is almost instantly ready for my use! I love the new drive and plus the Geek Squad did a fast/great job at making everything smooth and simple for me as a client.

This thing is WAY faster than a traditional 7200 RPM HDD. My PC boots Win10 in less than 3 seconds. It took a little over a minute booting from my HDD. I can also tell a huge difference in load time of the games I have installed on the SSD. I'll never build another system without one.

Bought a year ago for $ 20 more than what you can buy it for today. This hard drive is easy to install and set up. With outstanding speed and operating in total silence you will love it. Not to mention the quality build and dependability of Samsung this is a no brainer.

Gave no problems, easy to install on my netbook. This is a 2.5inch SSD with excellent speed and reliability. Used it to install Windows and Ubuntu with no issues. Comes with cloning software, I wish it came with a 2.5->3.5 brace to fit into my desktop.

bought this drive to replace existing HDD. works great, easy install and very fast.

My older Samsung SSD was getting full so I decided to go with another larger Samsung product. The software to clone the old drive is easy to use, the change took less than an hour to complete, including the transfer of the data and the operating system. This 950 series drive is definitely a better performer then the 940 I used before.

This hard drive was a breeze to pop in, then lightning fast! You gotta get one!
