I've used dozens of these (I am a computer tech) and never had a problem. To be fair, no other SSD brand has failed on me either. It will be 5 years or more before anything definitive can be said about the lifetime failure rates of these drives, but I have not had a single failure in 2+ years. In the same time period I have seen plenty of conventional drives fail at less than three years old.

Great SSD - Purchased 20 + so far

The Samsung 850 series so far has not let me down and I have been using them since they first came out. I have purchased several other manufacturers out there depending on availability or price, but always try to get the 850's because of the warranty and product quality. Make sure to get a SSD mounting bracket if you are going to install in a desktop PC.
