I was pleased to discover that my motherboard had a m.2 slot to replace my old dead SATA ssd. This thing is super fast, my PC logs into windows in 3 seconds flat. Games install as quickly as I can download. Its worth every penny.

Bought a new ASUS Strix Gaming Laptop (from Best Buy of course) and did not like the standard HDD that came with the laptop. I have been spoiled by the incredible SSD syndrome. I have upgraded every laptop and desktop over the years to SSD performance. Once you have it, it's hard to do with out. This laptop came with an open M2 socket so it was a no-brainer to install this to manage my OS and program installs for fast access. Easy to do, look it up online. Check on the laptop warranty for system upgrades. Some warranties are void but shouldn't be as this is a common practice today especially if the device has been designed for upgrade. Startup now is in seconds instead of minutes and access is super fast. Easy transfer from HDD to SDD with free program online but this drive comes with transfer software. Be sure to initialize new drive in Windows 10 first. Highly recommended any Samsung SSD.

It wasn't supported on my laptop. besides that, it worked really fast while cloning my system but again wasn't compatible.

This drive is fast and stable, installed perfectly in a Lenovo T460S, just the thing to double my storage!

I replaced my Dell's 128GB M.2 drive with this 500GB flash drive a few months ago and couldn't be happier. I no longer need to worry running out of disc space on the system drive. The migration from my old drive to this new one is a breeze using Samsung's Data Migration tool which is free to download from Samsung's website. The speed of Windows startup/shutdown is really fast. So far I haven't faced any issue with this new drive.

So glad Best Buy offered this. It's a solid state drive that doesn't require the same size connection of a traditional hard drive. There are much faster ones on the market, but for the price and size, this one is perfect. True SSD and if really does deliver. You can use it on laptops where these connection is available and turn the standard HDD into a storage drive for. Windows 10 that made part easy for me.

The Samsung M.2 SSD I installed runs fast and the price was great. I tested a 2.5" before and not sure what kind of difference it would make. Glad I made the switch. The only complaint is M.2 standard uses a small flimsy screw to hold it in place. I can't wait until they change that to make it easier to install.

Easy installation and good performance! Good investment of the money to upgrade an old hard drive

Purchased to replace the hard drive in my early 2011 MacBook Pro. Quick easy installation, more so, as it was going to be a fresh install of Sierra OS. It now takes 20 seconds for the system to boot and arrive at the login screen. Programs run very quickly and no problems thus far.

The drive was easy to install and I haven't had any issues yet. My OS and all of my programs startup nice and quick. This is an excellent drive.

One day i kind of broke my laptop's hard drive and needed to back up and have a fresh installed windows and I figured I should get an SSD since that was my plan before. Buy the GL752VW-DH71 and just buy a separate SSD. So I bought it and was excited to install it, at first I thought I messed up reading since the pin it has does not match the laptop's. I'm not sure why it does not match but it didn't and it worked. The next thing is that you will not see as one of the additional file when you open it in my computer, you have to go to disk management and format it first. Now my laptop works superfast.

I want to build a fast, quiet, and small desktop computer that I can use as a HTC. The Samsung 850 EVO SSD M.2 is a great drive that fit very well with my spec and the price is very reasonable. I'd highly recommended for anyone if their motherboard support it. Thanks!

I purchased a new laptop that has a factory-installed M.2 SSD with only 128GB of storage, which isn't nearly enough for me! A friend recommended that I look-into Samsung M.2 SSDs and, since I saw great reviews for the 850 EVO M.2 SSD, I purchased one! It took only 17 minutes for the Samsung Data Migration utility to clone the factory SSD to my new Samsung SSD, which demonstrates how fast Samsung 850 EVO is!

My MacBook laptop has been running beautifully ever since Best Buy installed this Samsung hard drive !

Works just like the 2.5" form factor. I have not had any issues.

I replaced an ssd drive with a bigger one, so i really can't say about the performance of it.

Upgrading a newer Dell laptop is simple with the M2 memory card. The challenge is xfering your data. Unlike a SATA drive that you can move from HDD to SSD, the M2 scenario is more complicated.
